  1. This is not going to a jury trial. Petty offenses are decided by a judge.
  2. I think Agholor is MUCH more elusive than Jones and has far greater upside. Speaking of Zay, I would love a straight swap. Zay for Agholor. They get cap relief and we get a better player.
  3. I'm gonna miss him on MNF to be honest. He had that so bad he's good quality about him. Pure comedy. I think this is a meh move. I doubt he'll have a huge impact one way or the other.
  4. Bruh. Facts have no place in this conversation. President Hillary Clinton is destroying my country. Go BILLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  5. What I don't quite understand is the collective dismissal of virtually every FA purportedly linked to the Bills citing dollar figures as the primary deterrent. We have like 80 mil in cap space. We're going to have to spend it somewhere and we're not gonna find PERFECT players in free agency. Saffold would instantly improve the line.
  6. I'm not disputing your entire premise, but I distinctly remember Moulds getting caught from behind in the Dolphins playoff game and fumbling. Such a deflating play. Maybe it was T Buck who caught him. Not quite sure. I love Moulds, but he was no burner.
  7. Tasker was getting a lot of run in that time frame as well. I think the league has evolved quite a bit in that receivers are much more pro ready than they were in 1996. I EXPECT Zay to be on the roster, but I wouldn't be shocked if they moved on.
  8. I would have been thoroughly disgusted if Mason had broken that tackle. Thanks London!!!!!! I took some sick pleasure in seeing the Titans lose the SB in heartbreaking fashion. Your points are well taken. The Bills and Sabres each had opportunities to seal the deal themselves. It's unfortunate that they didn't get the calls, but it doesn't even come to that if we'd have handled our collective business.
  9. Very true. I know some people don't like analytics, but this would not be done in today's NFL. Christie's kick should have been the final play of the game.
  10. What kind of fool would hire Michael Cohen as a lawyer? Oh, wait. And yes, the 4 bil was regarding his inflated net worth. Nothing to do with the amount of his bid to purchase the Bills. Either way, thank you Mr. and Mrs. Pegula.
  11. That 2014 defense was able to impose their will because the defensive line was physically dominant. Only dominant DL we've had in 20 plus years. The 2018 defense was very, very good, but not really capable of dominating the LOS. That's why I'm hoping for a high impact defensive lineman to put them over the top. Big defensive plays generally start up front and they're a precious commodity in today's NFL.
  12. This is my biggest fear with a QB. It can actually be better for a franchise if a QB flames out as opposed to consistent mediocrity. They'll kill coaches because ownership will generally want to believe in "their guy." I don't think Vrabel is having any of it. He's one of the very best young coaches in the game.
  13. This would make me extremely happy. Another pass rusher would be the icing on the cake for this defense. Trent Murphy is decent for the 4 games he plays per season.
  14. I take your point, and my usage of the word slightly was short sighted. It's worse. Not just slightly. Overall, I was positing that we ought to focus on the big picture and not just the salacious. The authorities are doing just that.
  15. The act of soliciting sex is REALLY, REALLY minor in the grand scheme of things. Who cares about transactional sex between consenting adults? While anything sexual is naturally more salacious and interesting, slave labor is slave labor whether it be sex or manicures. Forced sex is slightly worse, but not the crux of the problem.
  16. MAYBE some stupid team falls in love with Lock. Murray and Haskins will be gone by 9. Not such a bad thing for the Bills considering that means we'll have a crack at the 7th position player. I just think we need to pump the brakes on the assumption that a trade down is likely. It takes two to tango.
  17. Agreed. It's also important to note that the analytics guy is not making the decisions. It's ultimately up to Gase/now McBeane to make the right decisions with the information provided. Appears as though the guy is respected around the league, so there's nothing to dislike about the hire.
  18. Right. We could probably get a 5th for Zay, but meh. No offense, but I think we'd all prefer Green or Boyd. The reason Ross is available is because he's got warts. The great GM's pick and choose the correct diamonds in the rough.
  19. That was Malcolm Nance defending Ralph Northam and citing a poll in which the majority of black Virginian's support the Gov. White folks need to stop being so sensitive. Maher is the ONLY left wing pundit willing to challenge the "new norm" PC culture "our" side has created. As a liberal who's tired of the hysteria, I'm glad there's a voice of reason.
  20. This. The objective is not to accumulate massive amounts of cap space. Successful teams generally just tinker around to stay under. I think we've become a bit obsessed with cap space. I'd like to see McBeane scour free agency to replace the talent they jettisoned for guys that fit the process. I'm not really concerned with the cap.
  21. We shall see. Look at how quickly stories are forgotten in our 24 hours news cycle. As Bills fans, we'll probably continue to mock him and such. The general public will probably view it as an old guy doing something a lot of old guys do. TIME WILL TELL.
  22. I know nobody wants to hear this, but unless they can prove he knew the establishment was involved in human trafficking, this will be a non story in a month.
  23. I would love to kick to see the Bills kick the tires on Crabtree. We're NOT going to find receivers without warts in free agency. Those guys don't hit the open market. He was a buried on the depth chart in Baltimore and played a large percentage of the season with a run first quarterback. He's NOT Julio Jones, but he's also not KB.
  24. The more I learn about all this stuff Kraft was engaged in and the human trafficking element, the more I want to stop buying anything made in some of these countries where people work in subhuman conditions.
  25. Living in Las Vegas, I find the radio shows much more enjoyable as they spend the majority of the time talking about stories from around the various leagues. I'm not bashing Murph, Tasker, or any of them; just saying that I don't feel the need to catch up on Bills news via radio considering I spend the majority of my sports time focused on what the Bills are up to.
