It seemed like he was starting to get his confidence back last week. Hopefully this game winning 61 harder, finishes cementing it.

Von Miller proves the doubters wrong

I feel like a lot of people are still bitter about last year. I love what I saw in the 1st 4 games. We need to bring the good vibes back. -
Wow dude!

I have to agree, but would argue that if Henry keeps up these historic numbers, it could hurt his odds. Not only does Allen need to go on a run, but he would have to do the Chiefs, what no one else has been able to do. If that happens, that would washout the head to head with Lamar.

Agreed. Not sure that's commendable.

Baltimore still has to play Pitt 2X, Bengals again, and Cleveland. I know Cleveland has been a dumpster fire, but they just got Chubb back, and Jameis is an upgrade over Watson. They will not run the table. But as it stands, they look scary. We can all thank Dallas, and every other team with a running back need, for letting Henry go there. Henry looks as good as ever. Currently on pace to rush for 2,120yds.

Carter looks like we might've hit on something special. Has certainly earned some additional snaps. The most amazing thing I heard, is that Amari wasn't on the field for any of Keon's targets. Makes his day that much more special. Kid can play and is so fun to root for.

Keon Coleman 5th In Rookie Receiving Yards
Allen2Moulds replied to iwishitwerecolder's topic in The Stadium Wall
Been thinking about this Amari trade a lot, and how our entire offense is transformed. I think most of us here wanted a better complement than Gabe Davis, and also wondered what happened to Diggs down the stretch. We now see that Diggs is nothing more than a volume/possession type of receiver at this point in his career. I think Amari is an upgrade over Diggs at this point, and overall a better yac guy. Coleman is a far superior talent to Gabe, and Shakir is finally our Beasley replacement. Not to mention Cook/Davis and Kincaid. This might be the most talented offense we've had, when you throw in the offensive line and our ability to run. -
Schefter: Metcalf considered “week to week”

Haha....this is so good. -
This is all fun to dream and discuss, and I know it's not realistic. But if we were to trade for a guy like Crosby, we're ripping his contract up and writing him a new one. One that works within our budget and gives him future guarantees. This would not be a rental. It would cost a ton to obtain him. Shaq Thompson is out for the year.

The difference between the Bills and Chiefs is Chris Jones.
Allen2Moulds replied to Allen2Moulds's topic in The Stadium Wall
Thank you. I was honestly surprised by most of the responses I was getting, but it did not change my opinion. You of course can express it more eloquently than I can. It's like saying, would you trade Rosseau and Elam for Crosby or Garrett. I don't think anyone in their right mind says no. I'll take it one step further, how about Rosseau and Kincaid? That's still a resounding yes to me. -
The Bills Defense is Last in Rushing Yards / Attempt
Allen2Moulds replied to jethro_tull's topic in The Stadium Wall
Totally agree with this. During McDermott's tenure, we seem to almost always have a bad stretch of bad run D. We always hear that it's about tap integrity, and guys properly filling. If I'm the Bills, I keep a run stopping specialist on the roster, like teams do with pass rush specialists. This would help us against the Ravens of the world. -
The guy early on with the Jets looked like a top 1%, but has not been able to stay healthy, and is a complete washout now. Not only is he bad in coverage, but he's also always injured. Capital no thanks.

Allen2Moulds replied to Allen2Moulds's topic in The Stadium Wall
They still have a very good defense, and from what I've seen, Chris Jones is still that elite closer. Hopefully losing Sneed does catch up with them, but I haven't seen it yet. At this point last year, they were 4-1 with a struggling offense, and a good defense. Very similar to this year. Then in the playoffs, their tackles were never called for holding, and they became a dominant unit. Kelce also found the fountain of youth, just in time for the playoffs. I'll keep my thoughts to myself on that one. The major difference this year, is no Rashee Rice, and no Pacheco. Although Pacheco is expected to be back long before the playoffs. Let's hope they don't land a major WR before the trade deadline. Is this how you feel in the playoffs too? Big difference between reg season and playoffs. We can all agree, that our defense is what has kept this team from advancing in the playoffs. -

I think we can all agree, that love him or hate him, McDermott isn't going anywhere. Pre-Von injury, we got a taste of what our defense could look like with an elite pass rusher. -
All this chat about the Lions trading for a pass rusher to replace Hutchenson, got me thinking, why not us? Tom Pelissero was asked if I guy like Myles Garret or Maxx Crosby could be had? His response was, that for the right price, almost anyone can be had. He stated, that it's his belief that there is only about a total of 12 players in the NFL that are not tradeable, and went on to mention 4 players, as examples (Mahomes, Allen, Lamar, and Jefferson). Beane attempted to swing for the fences, when we signed Von, but it was a bit too late. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't believe he has any more guaranteed money after this year. Both Von and Diggs will be off the books come next year. I am also on the fence about resigning Rosseau. Seems like we will have to overpay, for what we're getting from him. Rosseau seems like the perfect complementary piece, but has not shown the ability to be the guy, Would you be willing to trade 2 number ones, if I guy like Max Crosby or Myles Garrett could be had?

I believe I remember Sal clarifying that they were not converting Cine to LB, and the LB reps reported, had more to do with the Big Nickel Package.

That articles says a lot more about Dallas, then it does Cooper. It only reaffirms how I feel about him. He's the anti-diva, well Dallas, you just paid Ceedee Lamb, and a you might've just gotten your wish. Plus with Buffalo, Josh needs help, he doesn't need Amari to carry the team. 2 totally different situations.

I wish I had kept the exact quote, but the year that we gave up a 1 for Diggs, it was a really strong year for WR's. When asked about the scouting process for WR's, Beane said that after QB, it might be the hardest position to scout and mentioned that it has one of the higher bust rates. This when into the decision to trade for Diggs, vs. drafting one in the 1st round. I also agree with building through the draft, but we also can't afford to waste another one of Josh's prime years. Player aside, how much is that worth? The thing I like most about Cooper, is that he kind of replaces Diggs and Gabe. He's a deep speed threat, but also a true #1. This is exactly the kind of WR, I was hoping the Bills would draft. Someone that threatens defenses on all 3 levels. Coleman slides in as the number 2, and is an upgrade to Gabe, and I would say that Cooper is an upgrade to Diggs, at this point in their careers.
