  1. If we go CB in the 1st round, we better jump the Rams.
  2. Me too. I'm all in on Hairston. As I mentioned in an early comment, I'm starting to feel about Hairston, how I felt about Brian Thomas last year. I also really like Grant. Those are my 2
  3. I think Maxwell Hairston could be the best corner in this class. He has the least amount of questions to me. Barron does project better as a slot corner. Sub 30-inch arms. He's this year's Brian Thomas for me. Trade a 4th and go up a few spots to grab him. Don't let another KC situation happen. I think the 2 biggest homerun swings we could take, is with either Kenneth Grant or Maxwell.
  4. Funny..as I was reading this, I immediately thought round 5 as well.
  5. I don't think he even goes in the 1st round. Especially over Golden and McMillan. If it was me, I would've taken Warren. He's the last blue chipper left. But....the draft is a bit wild and unpredictable at times. That's what makes the draft, and even these mocks so fun.
  6. The difference there, is that Myles Garrett is a known 1st ballot HOF. For all we know, any of these draft prospects could be busts, or never live up to their potential. That doesn't mean I agree that Myles was worth 3 1st's, but I was on board with 2, given how late we draft every year. At the end of the day, we just need to do a better job on these early picks. If we go CB, DT, and WR with our 1st 3 picks, and hit, we'll be in great shape. It doesn't have to be in that order. Beane needs to stick with BPA (within reason) and not continue to force his 1st pick.
  7. I don't disagree with your ranking, but run stuffers are not valued as high as DTs that are better known for their pass rush prowess. For this reason, you can easily see a few guys go ahead of him.
  8. I have to respectfully disagree. Nate Clements was clearly the number 1 corner, and would draw the WR1 assignments and routinely shut them down or hold them in check. Winfield on the other hand was the biggest pound for pound hitter. Still to this day, there's no undersize player that could hit/tackle like that guy. His son in TB is equally a fan favorite of mine. Another honorable mention, that no one is talking about was Thomas Smith. I always remember the broadcasters saying, no one knows who this guy is, because of the lack interception. Announcers would always say, because QBs never throw his way.
  9. I didn't want to like him, but after watching all these different WR clips, the guy that stood out the most was Bond. It's a reminder that football speed is much more about quickness and acceleration. How fast can you move while also shifting. That being said, I still subscribe to certain baselines. WRs, and corners still need to be sub 4.6 players. There was a beat writer for Texas, who said he was shocked that Golden ran the faster 40. He said when you watch them play, Bond is the one that plays like the 4.2 guy. Watching clips of both, and Bond does look more explosive. To me, he has the elite football speed. I would love it, if we got Bond with our first 2nd rounder, and went defense the rest of the way. Something like this. Rd1. Hairston Rd2. Bond RD3. Tylek Williams. I would be very happy, if our draft went like this.
  10. With the 46th pick in the 2025 NFL draft the Atlanta Falcons select... Tyleik Williams, DT, Ohio State. Drain-clogging run defender with violent first contact and nimble feet for impressive tackle production. Williams flashes an ability to play through or around the block. He physically dominates man-on-man matchups but inconsistent pad level and shorter arms hinder his double-team take-ons. He needs to focus on developing his hands to keep longer NFL guards from getting into him and neutralizing his power. Williams should pressure the pocket from time to time but might not win on his own enough to see many third-down reps. The knock-back pop and ability to eat up runners in his general vicinity could help him become an impactful, run-stuffing three-technique. The Cardinals @gonzo1105 are now on the clock.
  11. Put them in the que.
  12. With the 15th pick, the Atlanta Falcons select Mykell Williams, DE, Georgia @gonzo1105 is on the clock. The Falcons were one of the least effective teams rushing the passer last year and hope to give their front 4 a big boost with this draft pick. Williams is a powerful pass rusher with the length to get into blockers and the strength to push them aside. His hands are active, and he mixes in effective inside moves. He frequently rushes between the tackles where his length, active hands and quickness challenges interior offensive linemen. Williams sets the edge defending the run and makes quick work of tight ends. He has room on his frame to bulk up, but he is strong and fights to anchor when getting double-teamed. He showed great toughness playing most of the 2024 season with an ankle injury that hobbled him on tape and forced him to miss two games.
  13. Give me his bigger, faster, more productive teammate, that doesn't over promise and under deliver.
  14. Haha..too funny. Stupid autocorrect...torching them
  15. The thing I remember most, is that Miami at the time had a pro bowl CB tandem. I believe it was Surtain Sr. And Madison. They absolutely hated Moulds. He took turns touching those guys. Not only was he big, strong and explosive, but he also played with a mean streak.
  16. Yeah...this kind of flips how I feel about both of these signings. Not only the suspension, but also like ok....do you suck, if not for PEDs?
  17. If we can get that version of Bosa for the playoffs....lookout!!
  18. Meaning, he's not someone that was on any of our radars. Dude sat for a year, and was forgotten by most.
  19. Could be a sneaky good signing. All about this type of risk/reward. You do enough of these, your bound to connect on 1 or 2 of them.
  20. Keep him in bubble wrap, until we play KC. Also bring back Jordon Phillips and do the same.
  21. What's not to like? Sure, he has a long injury history. If he didn't, he'd be worth 3X as much.
  22. He basically said the offense changed/adjusted, and he failed to adjust with it. The sooner he understands it's a week to week league, the better he'll be. I thought it was an open honest answer. He didn't bash the organization or the offense, he just showed that he's still green.
  23. Sneaky good signing. Excels vs. Man
