  1. The withholding is higher but not the actual tax once everything is reconciled at the time of the return being filed. Income is income whether it comes from commissions, bonuses, or whatever.
  2. I understand that you'll never be able to "coach up" Levi's athleticism but man, talk about a guy that has continued to dare people to count him out. He WALKS ON to the University of Alabama and ends up as a starter. Then he goes undrafted and fights his way through training camp to make the 53 man roster. Then he claws his way up to CB2 on one of the top defenses in the NFL. He is a solid zone corner who is a student of the game and fits Mcdermott and Frazier's systems perfectly. That being said, we could use some additional speed in the backfield but I'm guessing that will come via the draft.
  3. That was my exact thinking as well. A silver lining as I want Josh to be the frachise QB but I also don't want the team to paint themselves into a corner.
  4. Tough pill to swallow tonight but what a fun season. I'm trying to stay optimistic that they will be able to fill some glaring holes through free agency and the draft but obviously, cap resources become much more constricted once Allen gets his extension. There have been recent threads suggesting that the performance gap between Allen and Mahomes was becoming fairly narrow and while I love Josh, I still think there is a long ways to go. Do you think the fact that he was significantly outplayed twice this year by Mahomes keeps that number south of the previously suggested $45M mark? Any chance they pump the brakes on the extension and wait until the next offseason?
  5. Correct me if I'm wrong but along with points scored, doesn't this 2020 squad now own the team record for most total yards offense in a season? The 1991 K-Gun posted 6252 yards. This 2020 group had 5888 yards going into today. With another 455 today, the new mark should be 6343. Another team record, right?!
  6. I'm just excited that I'm relevant.
  7. By traditional measures (ex "passer rating"), Josh Allen still has a long way to go, but he certainly passes the eye test. His athleticism can not be overstated. While we know that we can't lean on him to rush for 100 yards per game indefinitely, the degree of difficulty that it puts on the defense to defend is undeniable. I know that ESPN's proprietary "QBR" metric, which emphasizes clutch stats and downplays "garbage time", is polarizing. It also takes rushing yards into account. I think in Allen's case, it paints a better complete picture of his performance as a quarterback and not just as a passer. According to this assessment, he was the 4th best quarterback this week: http://www.espn.com/nfl/qbr/_/type/player-week Thoughts?
  8. I hope that this doesn't get fixed anytime soon but check out the "early years" section of Kiko's Wiki: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kiko_Alonso Pure gold!
  9. This will probably get fixed soon but it was too funny not to share: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kiko_Alonso
