I think there’s some argument for drafting what you perceive to be the best athlete on your board in the first round regardless of fit. There’s also no guarantees in the draft. getting josh Allen has made beane and McDermott a lot of money. That’s not to say they’re poor at their job’s rather there’s probably equally talented people who are unemployed because they didn’t have a josh Allen.

The only thing the d has to do in this game is keep them out of the endzone. We don’t matchup well versus them unless we can turn them one dimensional.
