Can’t believe this team keeps losing but it’s how it’s going to be with josh at qb. He’s a slinger so it’s going to be a constant roller coaster of good and bad. That being said, get the defense as healthy as can be, get josh on a burner in the playoffs and we still have a shot. have a feeling the bills are going to be in a bit of financial jail and the overall talent is going to dip in the next few years. Best chance is now.

Nyheim Hines: Why did we bother trading for him?
Shortchaz replied to EasternOHBillsFan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Said it before, I’ll say it again, when you have 3 running backs (5? 6?) you don’t have a running back. -
We’ve lost to teams that are 23-7 on the year

Forever pretty good -
Teams need spectacular plays to beat us by 3

And they do it regularly -
I feel the same way. I care I just don’t/can’t/won’t get as emotionally invested. I’ll probably just watch wins that are dvr’d. Did this with a college team for awhile and eventually just stopped watching.

11/13/22 GAMEDAY Vikings at Bills Pregame Thread Week 10

Wouldn’t be surprised if the bills stink it up today. -
On to Minnesota (get this game in the rear view mirror!)

Coaching Staff has to take a huge blame for yesterday
Shortchaz replied to BillyBilliams's topic in The Stadium Wall
Maybe, by not playing white the staff let the team know this game wasn’t important enough. They responded. -
Bills lost after being double digit favorites, in a similar fashion as their previous loss, and people are starting to recognize patterns in their struggles? Weird

Feels like our early-in-the-season success on offense might be because we have a new offensive coordinator. Now that teams have figured him out it’s going to be tough sledding. If the bills were the type of team that could just line up in a basic formation and run the ball and have success we’d have something to fall back on while we adjusted to the changing defenses. instead we start to panic and play into the hands of the defensive scheme. the coordinators/coach of this team seem way to rigid(?) with their philosophies on game day and need to do a better job of planning contingencies. Fall back to a more a vanilla approach when things aren’t working. Take 4 positive yards a play. Stop doubling down on things that aren’t working. I’m sure I’m way over simplifying something complex, but I believe the issue is mostly coaching. Recognize the game is one of these types of games/go into vanilla mode and take whatever points you can get rather than going for chunk plays.

2020 Feeling More Like Major Missed Opportunity
Shortchaz replied to corta765's topic in The Stadium Wall
This season is going to end horribly, probably similar to a game like this one or the Miami game. Team can’t or refuses to just grind out a win taking what’s given against good defenses or on an off day. -
Our defense works well when we score early and keep scoring.

Saving him for important games 🙄

The blueprint is in, Buffalo has been figured out

All the lessons the bills needed to win this game should’ve been learned in the Miami game. -
Why oh why are we not establishing a running game ?
Shortchaz replied to Returntoglory's topic in The Stadium Wall
We can’t lineup in an I formation and run, it will eventually catch up to us (like when josh is having a BAD game) -
Seems to be the only linebacker we have that plays with a classic linebacker mentality.
