This reminds me of people trying to say Peyton manning is a better quarterback than Tom Brady because he has better arm talent. it’s an argument of definition and opinion. It’s a waste of time, you play to win the game.

1) I disagree, we don’t need an “inventive” offense like the Cardinals, we need the personnel (offensive line, another top quality receiver, an experienced oc) to run a more balanced offense. Be able both run and pass and attack and opponent’s weakness effectively. 2)the defense we run is inventive and needs to be MORE old school (imo). The defense they run and the personnel they use plays on our side of the line of scrimmage rather than trying to be disruptive of the opponent’s side. Again we need to be able to do ALL the things on defense and eliminate opponents strengths. I think the biggest problem is the whole defense revolves around Edmunds who is not suited to do half the things he’s asked to do. If they like him so much HE should be the nickel corner (in a sense) and we should get a more traditional middle linebacker. We need a whole attitude/philosophy adjustment on defense. Need an enforcer on every level.

The jets and dolphins seemed to routinely rag doll Bills players and generally just push them around.

Which is amazing considering the resources spent on the d-line. Makes me wonder if scheme is really the issue considering most teams seem to be able to generate pressure on Allen. I.e. what we do on offense is so obvious defensive lineman can go full pass rush giving them an advantage.

There isn’t one player (MAYBE poyer) on that list that I care about. The defense needs a new philosophy, attitude, and players to match. the offense needs a new philosophy, attitude, and players to match. Get the corny people out the door and get some scary people on this roster.

I think (and it’s clearly not just my thinking as I’ve seen it discussed on this board) that yesterday’s game demonstrated that the coaching staff in KC is likely the best in the business. Other stats floating around demonstrate that mahomes is a bit of a system quarterback. Likely even more so than Brady. Andy Reid has been the head coach of 13 division champions and now 9 teams in conference championships.
