  1. Yes it’s all a little hair splitting. “That’s not pizza, only Neapolitan style pizza made in Naples with D.O.P ingredients is pizza!” Quarterback’s probably need their own category. There’s so much attention and pressure associated with the position that they can’t be hidden like a fair-to-middling d.e.
  2. “A draft bust is a highly touted or highly selected draftee who does not meet expectations. A player is also regarded as a larger bust if more successful players are drafted after them.“ Wikipedia definition, not perfect but at least it’s something. as far as clowney goes he’s never had double digit sacks in a season . he’s had .4 sacks per game for his career. Shaq Lawson has had .26 at about 1/3 the career earnings (also arguably a bust). (Myles Garrett .88 sacks per game for reference. Nick bosa .84) in clowney’s defense, the expectations for him might’ve been impossible to live up to and i imagine it’s hard to stay motivated when you have the options $80million provide.
  3. Oh, I guess I wasn’t aware there was an official definition.
  4. Which of them are team captains?
  5. I’ll let the eagles and niners know
  6. Yeah, there’s some candy inside if you want to hop in.
  7. I was thinking Seahawks but titans with a slightly better defense would be another good example of my preferred team build.
  8. I’d trade josh Allen for an all-time elite defense. a serviceable passing game, and stud running back.
  9. Peter king said Lamar has played one game in December and January the last two seasons
  10. I think everyone understands that criticism of players is made in the relative nfl world. What McKenzie makes in his next contract will reflect where he ranks in the NFL. he didn’t get the job done here in critical situations and the bills are exploring other options, I.e. wasn’t good enough.
  11. Good for him. not sure it’s possible for him to live up to that contract, best hope is it’s debatable in the end.
  12. This is debatable and probably flat out wrong. If all you care about is growing I’m sure it works great. If you want to live a long life there are way better options than cow milk.
  13. You don’t catheter up for the games? Pssh….rookie
  14. But who’s going to tell him he can’t play?
  15. That ain’t nothing but ultra perm
  16. We are stuck with von for now, and I expect it to feel exactly like that. Fix the o-line and hope the d is serviceable for a season or 2
  17. Yeah, maybe. It’s something where a clear definition would have to be established and quantified blah blah blah. It’s certainly a factor.
  18. 100% agree that he (probably) made the move to further his education. Oocam’s razor. Gets to work with/learn from Doug pederson. Seems like a no brainer from that perspective. A lateral move on paper but progress isn’t linear.
  19. It might feel like 20% but it’s probably closer to 1%. the margins are so thin, even between the best and worst teams, in the NFL a few “lucky” bounces can make all the difference in outcome. had an interesting conversation during the superbowl about this topic. I’m surprised with all the metrics around that someone hasn’t quantified it. (Maybe they have, I’m too lazy to look)
  20. just get out of the second round since we never hit on anyone there. See if we can’t get 10 round 5 picks for our 2nd round pick.
  21. Probably need multiple years of good drafts to build a better team than KC. Our best hope is josh gets red hot at the right time and we get some fortunate bounces.
  22. Had a conversation with my brother about this during the game, came to the conclusion they are either running exotic routes or it’s similar to how Stevie Johnson used to get open. Him and Mahomes have an arrangement where he gets to a certain area however he gets there OR he just simply runs to space. Maybe it’s a combination of multiple approaches. someone has to blow him up at the line with another person over top. Obviously not that simple but someone has to figure it out soon.
