    A player like Rousseau is DE 2 on an elite defense. If von would’ve worked out, Oliver and Rousseau would’ve benefited the most. Neither Oliver or Rousseau are the guy, they’re role players.

    I think the defense (with everyone back/healthy) has a higher ceiling than the offense this year. They’re going to have to carry us in the end; much like the chiefs last year.

    We are definitely lacking in top end talent, no doubt. If the Von Signing worked out we might be having a different discussion but so it goes.

    These things aren’t mutually exclusive. We need better players AND Allen needs to make better use of what he has because he doesn’t have another option at the moment. Get the right play called for the defense you’re looking at, get the right protection and deliver the ball.
