This roster will be meh. It’s been said repeatedly, outside of Allen, there isn’t much. Not that there’s huge holes, there’s just not much in the way of all pro talent. Finesse offense and finesse defense.

Trying to use the results of preseason football games to predict anything will likely be unsuccessful. The bears made a lot of first downs and moved the ball better than the bills. They also scored 20 points in the fourth quarter of preseason game one.

I think there’s many arguments one could make for predicting this team to win 9 games or less including josh may be due given his play style and how fortunate we’ve been in that regard. Holy Christ, I didn’t realize I was entering a formal debate, I would have curtsied before I posted.

A josh injury is one way a 9 win (or less) season happens.

Some backups are more like coach’s assistant rather than actual competition or best available player. Mitch is here to help josh. If josh goes down the season is over so who cares.
