Kyler Murray - Torn ACL Confirmed
Florida Bills Fanatic replied to Draconator's topic in The Stadium Wall
His lack of availability may lead them to bail on the 2023 season, shed some veteran salaries, and undertake a limited rebuild. I think they will need a better bridge QB than McCoy. There will be some QB's looking for a home next season, so AZ should have some options. Overall, it's a bad time to be a Cards fan. Things at a franchise can flip from promising to a dumpster fire at the blink of an eye. We all need to enjoy the Bills and their success because it can disappear quickly. -
They're headed down a dead end road with Tannehill. Even Henry is showing signs of decline. A significant rebuild is needed. It appears to me that they want to get their rebuild done before they start playing in the new stadium that is going to be built. I won't be surprised if Vrabel stays. He doesn't strike me as being a quitter and even their ownership must understand that he is a good coach. When I see a team in this much disarray, I appreciate Beane more.

Don't tell that to Steve Young...lol

This is the NFLPA taking a course of action that they probably know is a long shot, to appease their members that are complaining (ie Lamar Jackson, et al). The NFLPA had the chance to negotiate guaranteed contracts as part of their collective bargaining agreement and didn't do it. They either didn't think it was important enough to cause a strike over or they were unwilling to make other concessions to the owners to obtain it. This lawsuit will be a fools errand.

Should the Bills re-sign Ed Oliver?
Florida Bills Fanatic replied to JohnNord's topic in The Stadium Wall
It all depends on the price. If he is looking for top 10 money, then the Bills should let him walk. He has been a good player but not a great player. -

Thanks for the unique perspective but.....do we know for certain that he can't? -
Anybody see replay of Dion's holding penalty
Florida Bills Fanatic replied to LABILLBACKER's topic in The Stadium Wall
I watched the play several times and think it was a bogus call. The tangled legs and the stumble were pretty obvious. When you consider what they didn't call throughout the game, it was pathetic. -
Best Restaurants in Buffalo ?????

Ilio DiPaolo's on South Park has been one of my favorites over the years. -
Really only happened once. After no more success against Jerry, they ran at Green on the other side. Green did not play well. Jerry played a heck of a game. He took the left tackle to school and made it look easy. I'm glad he is still playing well, even on a terrible team. The Eagles do not look to be the unbeatable team that the media portrays them to be. Their weak schedule has made their undefeated record possible. A healthy 49er's team will roll them, if they get that far in the playoffs.

I think the game flow will determine how much the Bills blitz. With problems on the JEST'S o-line, I expect more d-line stunts in passing situations. They can create the confusion necessary to get a free runner to the QB. Teams have also confused Wilson with zone blitzes with d-linemen dropping into areas where he wasn't expecting to see coverage. As others have said, I don't expect the Bills to go crazy with the number of times that they blitz.

Hines is a versatile player. A very good receiver and runner. He has excellent speed. He can return punts and kicks. He is an experienced version of James Cooks and can do many of the things that McKenzie does. This is a depth move. Hines is also a great character/team guy. He will fit the culture very well. He should be really excited to go from a losing team to a Super Bowl favorite. The best part is the reasonable price that Beane paid.

Safety Help - who might be available?
Florida Bills Fanatic replied to Beck Water's topic in The Stadium Wall
If the Bills feel that there is an actual need, I have confidence that they have anticipated that two 30 plus year old safeties have a limited shelf life that may expire suddenly. We don't know what the team does during the closed portions of practice and we don't know who they have prepared. Some contributors in this forum have already identified some possible options (Benford, Neal, T. Johnson, etc.). If they don't make a move at the trade deadline, they are comfortable with their current options. -
When does Benford transition to Safety?
Florida Bills Fanatic replied to Flipnmi's topic in The Stadium Wall
Maybe but he is really good in the slot and I don't see McD downgrading two spots in the defense to fix one issue (assuming Poyer doesn't miss time). -
Kadarius Toney to the Chiefs for picks
Florida Bills Fanatic replied to wolfpack78's topic in The Stadium Wall
But he has not been good all season and has disappeared in multiple games. -
Kadarius Toney to the Chiefs for picks
Florida Bills Fanatic replied to wolfpack78's topic in The Stadium Wall
This trade tells me more about Sky Moore and Hardman than it does about Toney. If either one of those two guys were playing well, the Chiefs would not have taken this kind of gamble. I also believe that the Chiefs have come to the realization that they need to score more points to offset some obvious deficiencies on their defense. This may also be an indication that KC is off OBJ's list of potential destinations and Toney is their plan "B". -

Philadelphia Eagles Schedule is a Joke
Florida Bills Fanatic replied to Coach55's topic in The Stadium Wall
Hurts is making a lot of throws but not into tight windows. When he plays against a talented secondary, his accuracy deficiencies will become more pronounced. He is a good player and is fun to watch. He is taking a bunch of big hits running near the goal line and I won't be surprised to see his season end early. -
The Minkah Theft - Question?
Florida Bills Fanatic replied to Last Guy on the Bench's topic in The Stadium Wall
Dual possession goes to the offensive player. In this case that didn't come into play because Davis took full possession of the ball. The ball was never solely possessed by Fitzpatrick and therefore was never an interception. Had he pulled it completely away from Davis, it would have been an interception. Fitzpatrick knew all of this and therefore didn't complain to the official that called it a touchdown. The ruling on the play was really pretty straightforward. -
Mitch was playing behind a pathetic o-line. The result was easily predictable. Pickett will be taking some significant hits and is likely to miss some games. We'll see how bad the o-line is this week.
