How do you compare the two? One worked his ass off and gave everything for the team, stuck it out even while getting relentlessly burned, he just didn’t have enough talent...the other quit on his teammates and jokes about it?

    Very easily.

Vontae at least knew he couldn’t compete and quit. Peterman kept losing and repeating his awful performances. He brought the team down with him.

I would respect Peterman more if he quit at half time of the Chargers game 2017.

How can somebody, especially an NFL player be so stubborn to sacrifice an entire team and season? He knew his limitations and still went out there like a ***** idiot.

He could use some lessons in team spirit and selfishness. There is no “I” in team.

  2. Seats are nice, heated. The suits that’s sit there are uptight and don’t pay attention to the game. No standing, no cheering. It’s pretty boring.

    Appropriate censor for the kids.

Food is much better and way more expensive.

I wouldn’t suggest it, but if they were free tix, it’s worth the effort of going.

  3. As most of the perpetual gray clouds on this board would try to convince you that the season is over and we need to resign to the fact that this is a developmental year.

Are you saying there is a chance to make the playoffs?

    We aren’t tanking the season?

    Barkely must start.

Coach much put us in our best position to play. He must Play our best players.

    Barkley must play.

  4. Barkley deserves the start. He has earned it. He has potential to be a franchise qb.

Reminds me a bit of Orton, with his swagger.

Most fans have been waiting for Allen to return because they understand he represents the future.  No one cares about Matt FN Barkley.

Most paying fans expect a quality product. If Allen gets stuck in the mud, I’ll demand my money back and you should too.

Im not paying all this money to watch a developmental Team.  I expect NFL quality. Barkley brings that quality.

 You know nothing obviously.  Barkley had a pretty good game, but he's still the same QB with average arm strength who can't drive the ball with any consistency. He got away with a few that should have been picked last week.  Back to the bench where he belongs as McDermott has already said Allen will start when healthy with every indication that will be next Sunday.

Again. It’s a good thing you’re not evaluating. You’re just flat out wrong about his potential.

We all know how irresponsible McD is with the QB position. It would be a gross mistake to play Allen. Barkley should get the start and should remain the starter until he proves otherwise, he has earned it.

Teams already know Barkley is a journeyman backup type.

Happy you’re not evaluating talent for this team.

Barkley just had his opportunity, made the most of it, and you just push it aside and label him.

The guy can ball, Allen can learn a thing or two from him watching.

Lets see if he can string together two nice games, he has the potential to be a franchise QB.

I could see Nate doing quite well in the army.  After all, you don't want those grenades landing anywhere near your own guys!

Yeah, he seems to take abuse well and is definitely not a leader. He’d be Humbled to the point of humiliation...

His panicking when real bullets fly (similar to his onfield play) would be his demise and his platoon (team) unfortunately.

 See Nathan Peterman as proof that fans and media simply don't. Allen needs to show improvement, but it's not as if he won't be the unquestioned starter next season.  They will build up the supporting cast around him in the draft and UFA next season as other teams have done.  No controversy at all.

I would love this to happen, sounds like a fairytale though.

After last week performance, we are all expecting the offense to work from here on out. No more excuses. We saw a capable qb move the ball and score points against a good D. We have the ability.

The fans will not impact any decisions.  The team is committed to Allen's development and no journeyman factors into the equation.  Everyone should get this as it's obvious.

Fans and Media play a bigger part in decisions than you think.

We will see. I say the Billsy thing happens.

    Allen needs to perform. (Period)

Yup. We'll have an idea by the end of this season but won't have an answer til next.

We can’t ruin our new qb, we must groom him to succeed.

Year 2 is where we will see the greatest leap in improvement.

We must prepare him to succeed.
