  1. I suspect Allen remembers just how bad he played in that game. And Allen has a lot of Thurman in him when it comes to such things. It's going to be a tough night for the Packers in a couple of weeks.
  2. Dorsey has eliminated any concerns the departure of DaBold raised. His game planning & play calling have been quite good. I also suspect that Joe Brady has contributed to this as well particularly in the passing game design. The good news is that after Dorsey leaves to take a head coaching job Brady will step in as OC.
  3. Yep. I like the guy because he makes me laugh. That show is hilarious and to me it's like a bunch of fans sitting around getting hammered arguing about whose team is the best.
  4. And Buffalo has beaten the three times under them which makes this the easiest ranking list ever.
  5. I suspect his answer would be "Allen".
  6. So what's the over/under for penalties called on the Raiders to balance out that roughing the passer call?
  7. He had the football in his hands. How do you suggest he avoid landing on Carr while maintaining possession of the ball? Levitate using telekinesis?
  8. The problem with your reasoning is that Jones had the football in his hand. The only way he could soften the blow and not land full weight on Carr was to drop the ball and spread his arms out. Last time I checked that would have been a fumble by Jones. The refs should have huddled and once it was known that Jones had the ball in his hand waved off the flag.
  9. Which only compounds the problem. The refs are bad and getting worse.
  10. Keep it up KC fans. Boo this sorry excuse for a refereeing crew the entire 2nd half. These scum bags are going to kill the game of football. The NFL and he refs need to fix this NOW.
  11. For whom? Baker or the coach?
  12. It's way to early. Last year the Bills beat down the Chiefs who were reeling. Fast forward to the playoffs and KC has home field advantage. Say the Bills lose to the Chiefs. That makes us 4 - 2 going into the bye having played 5 teams with either winning records or at minimum are 500 (Chiefs, Titans, Rams, Dolphins & Ravens). Four of those six games will have been played on the road. And throughout this time the Bills have been hit with all sorts of injuries to key players. If we remain relatively healthy after the bye a 9 - 2 or even 10 - 1 run seems probable to me.
  13. Agree 100%. What we saw yesterday was by design. And even if Pitt makes those FG's they score less then 10 points.
  14. When you watch the replay Allen steps up in the pocket for the throw right into the face of a Steeler LB and takes a big lick as the ball leaves his hand. That the threw that pass 45 yards INTO THE WIND on target was amazing.
  15. Do we know he's out for the Steelers game yet?
  16. I agree that the Steelers are very well coached. I would dispute that Tomlin and his coaches are much better then the Bills coaches.
  17. As an aside is the AFC East the best division in football?
  18. And the refs missed an obvious roughing the passer call on the Bills 2nd drive that ended in a FG.
  19. At least 5 or 6 and probably more. As for Allen's stats - who cares - the only stat that mattered was the W and Allen was a key reason that the Bills gutted this win out.
  20. I disagree. In 2020 the Bills did very well in one score games and in 2021 they did not. That's a direct comparison over the last 2 seasons - hardly ancient history. As far as this season goes, one game is hardly going to tell us how the Bills will do in one score games in 2022. Get back to me at the end of this season and if the Bills are 1 - 5 in one score games then you'll have enough data to support your concern.
  21. Agreed. In 2020 the Bills were 5 - 1 in the regular season and 1 - 0 in post season in one score games. That's 6 - 1. The reality is that the national sports media is mostly made up of lazy reporters that don't do their homework.
  22. I understand exactly what you're saying. My point is that it's to early in the season and the sample size way to small to be asking the question. This is particularly true given the weird circumstances of the Miami game. Last season Allen seemed to have great success in audibiling into and out of runs. Ditto for the first two games this season. So you're basing your question on the Miami game. A game in which the O-line was in complete chaos.
  23. Damn what kind of venom will be spewed when Allen actually has a bad game? I'm trying to take this thread seriously but on so many levels it's bat feces crazy. To bring this up after a Miami game in which the Bills were using a 3rd string center and 3rd string guard and the line/TE's were suffering from heat stroke is bizarre IMO.
