  1. The best part is the little shake of his head and the look on Belichicks eyes after that Allen run!
  2. The emergence of Brown at RT is huge for the long term competitiveness of the Bills. When you can land a quality starting tackle in the 3rd round who is also a physical specimen and he contributes as a rookie you're playing with house money. And when Brown at RT allows you to move Williams to guard, where he is flourishing, it's like winning the lotto.
  3. 7 of 17 for 28 yards and 2 picks with a rating of 9.3. He also has negative rushing yards.
  4. Do you remember if the game announcers blamed Allen's 4th quarter struggles in his first playoff game against the Texans as "it's his first playoff game"? I don't. Even though Allen played well in the first half of that game and then got his act together at the end to get us to OT. Yet listen to the excuse making for Murray. Funny how that works for some players and not for others?
  5. Allen has an uncanny gift of making people want to do well so as not to disappoint him. When I first started my professional career I had a boss that was this way. I can't put a finger on a single reason why it was important for me not to let this guy down but it was. I suspect that in the case of Allen it's the culmination of hundreds of small things that Allen does that when combined gives off a powerful aura of leadership.
  6. It is head scratching how there is this group of NFL "experts" and ex players that just crap all over Allen. It's weird but I suspect goes back to what these people said about Allen's prospects leading up to and after the 2018 draft.
  7. I disagree with all of this: * You don't love that the Bills played great on Saturday night. Just be honest with us that Allen and the Bills almost perfect performance against NE just makes your trolling harder. * Mahomes already is a transcendent player. He doesn't need to show anything. He's a handful. * You don't hate the idea that the Chiefs will be in the SB every year - you're actively rooting for it especially if they beat Buffalo in the playoffs to get there. * It wouldn't surprise me in the least if the Chiefs beat the Bills this week and Mahomes outplays Allen. Of course it wouldn't surprise me if it goes the other way to. These are the two best teams in the AFC and they'll be fighting it our for years. * I believe that the Bills are on the cusp of a series of Super Bowl runs like back in the early 1990's. And IMO this season is the 1989 season minus the bickering part but with all the inconsistency as the team learned to play week in and week out at an elite level. On an encouraging note going forward this current Bills team has had a better season then the 89 Bills did which bodes well for the future.
  8. You need to get a new history book. Last season Allen put multiple elite performances back to back. Remember, in 2018 Allen started on a team that was undergoing a complete offensive overhaul as a rookie. That rebuilding process wasn't complete until the 2020 season with the arrival of an elite WR in Diggs.
  9. Actually they did something like this after last season and the surprising outcome was that a majority of the GMs they talked to would take Allen. They saw the two QB' as being very close skill wise and felt that Allen's bigger size and having already navigated playing through hard ties (2018) indicated that he had the better long term potential.
  10. That may be but what we just saw was hot garbage. BOTH QB's and BOTH coaches flat out sucked.
  11. Both QB's were bad in this game. The fact that the Cowboys are paying Dak $40,000,000 is insane. And Jimmy G did everything in his power to give the game away at the end.
  12. To bad BOTH teams didn't lose. That was an abomination of a football game. If two teams played that poorly and stupidly in a preseason game you would be disappointed. From bad QBing to bad coaching and everything in between what a joke.
  13. This is a huge development going forward. It's looking less and less like the Bills will need to blow up the O-line and rebuild it. From the emergence of Bates and Brown to Williams clearly being better at guard this O-line may actually be moving in the direction of being one of the best in the NFL. And they have quality depth with Feliciano able to play guard & center and when Boetenger gets back. Throw in Doyle as the 6th O-lineman, a trend that might become the norm in the NFL going forward, and the Bills have completely reversed the script on their O-line. It's actually amazing.
  14. This Sherman guy is a hoot. Check out this from the comments on his thread: BUM CHILLUPS AKA SPENCER HALL @edsbs The Bills are throwing deep up thirty and tossing TDs to offensive linemen and meanwhile Bills fans are pelting you with dildos this is Stalingrad
  15. I agree, Allen thew the perfect ball there: either Knox makes a great catch or we live to try to covert on 3rd down. So yes, a throwaway was definitely on his mind but if that's all he wanted to do some poor frozen fan 10 aisles up in the end zone bleachers would have had a football in their face.
  16. They'll slither out of the toilet the next time Allen struggles but for now let's hope they stay under their rocks. Allen was pure perfection tonight. I have never seen a QB lay this well in the playoffs - EVER. And considering the temperature? Amazing.
  17. The pressure stats are even more incredible then the constant shuffling of the Bill's O-line. Given the reality that Allen faced on the O-line, not only did he NOT regress he played better in 2021 then he did in 2020. For heavens sake, Allen faced the MOST pressures in the NFL:
  18. Holy cow that's an incredible stat. Usually QB's whose O-line experiences high levels of turnover struggle mightily. That Allen put up the numbers he did and led his team to a Division title is amazing considering this stat.
  19. Don't get me wrong - I kind of like Wright and he's entertaining which is his job. BUT sometimes his takes are so stupid and so plainly designed to rile up a fan base that you just have to laugh. The simple fact is that the team and QB who are under the most pressure to win this weekend are the LA Rams and Matt Stafford. And no other team or QB is close.
  20. Allen has led the Bills to victory in 3 of their last 4 games against NE. In those games Allen has thrown for 933 yards with 8 TD's and only 1 INT. He has also rushed for 161 yards and scored a TD. So that's 9 total TD's ageist 1 TO. Not to shabby against one of the best defenses in the NFL.
  21. I wish I could get paid big bucks to be a professional troll like Nick Wright! I was watching a video where good old Nick stated with 100% confidence that the Bills and Allen were under the most pressure to win this weekend because a loss would not only be devastating to this season but would be devastating to the career of Allen and the future of the Bills franchise!! He went on to explain that the Bills could never recover from losing to a ROOKIE QB in the playoffs. I would like to point out to Nick that: * The Chiefs are under every bit as much pressure as the Bills since along with the Bills they were projected as the lead Super Bowl contenders in the AFC. * And should the Bill's lose Saturday night, and I don't think they will, it will not be to a rookie QB. The loss will be to the greatest coach in the history of the NFL. * Allen is 25 years old and in his 4th season. If they lose it will only make him hungrier next year, Ditto for McD & Bean who are both young and at the start of a long & successful run in Buffalo. To suggest a loss would destroy Allen's career and the Bills franchise is delusional. * I would submit that the team and QB facing by far the most pressure this weekend are the LA Rams and Matt Stafford. The Rams have traded away their future to win a Super Bowl NOW. And Stafford is nearing the end of a long career where he has NEVER WON a playoff game. Should Arizona knock the Rams out of the playoffs and Stafford not play well that would have a bad impact on the QB and team going forward.
  22. Breezy in Foxboro is nothing like WINDY at Rich Stadium. Last Sunday the Jets and Bills combined to score 3 points going into the wind. With the wind at their back they scored 34 points.
