That’s Gabe and DK.
That’s all I needed to see….

It’s an excellent WR class if we can pull off the right move/pick this is all water under the bridge. I don’t think they did this in a vacuum without a plan in mind.

No matter what you can t keep a disgruntled player on the roster especially a WR1, & if he’s in decline best to jettison him sooner than later.

Amen. The over-reaction on this board is hilarious.
And for everyone bitching that it is "only" a 2nd round pick, we also got a 6th this year, and a 5th next year. Those picks matter when you are reloading the roster.
Didn’t the 5th / 6th go to Houston ??

Idk about Diggs, either he was unhappy with the Bills last season or he’s in a decline either way I’m ok with this he faded last season. Move up draft a WR1. We need to get younger and cheaper.
Like the idea of moving him but this was a bit one sided;
Buffalo will receive a 2025 second-round pick, originally from Minnesota. Houston will receive Diggs, a 2024 sixth-round pick, and a 2025 fifth-round pick.
By trading Diggs before June 1, the Bills will incur a $31 million dead cap charge in 2024. Diggs is signed through 2027.

Over $15m year, older player & a high injury risk. We dodged a bullet. We already have Miller why double down.

If the Pats and Jets beat us with rough QB play I’d rather he stays out of the division. Guy looked pretty competent and played very well last season. That could be a flash in the pan year but he’s certainly shown the substance to be a starter in this league. A competent one who can win games at that.
Feel there will be several teams reaching out to his agent for his services, those two you mentioned would have to be included.
We had trouble with the Maytag repair man with the Chargers , yeah I’d rather not see him in our division.

“Kansas City shooting live updates: Police say 'dispute between several people' led to gunfire
3 people, including 2 juveniles, were detained in connection with the shooting near Union Station that left 22 injured, police say.”

Lots of talk on here about Chicago and why they wont publish the shooters photos within a day of the shooting. "We all know why right?" Here are some stats.
From 2016 to 2020, the two U.S. counties to experience the most gun homicides per capita were rural:*
Phillips County, Arkansas: 55.45 age-adjusted homicides per 100,000 people
Lowndes County, Alabama: 48.36 age-adjusted homicides per 100,000 people**
From 2016 to 2020, 13 of the 20 U.S. counties with the most gun homicides per capita were rural:
80 percent of these 20 counties are in states that received an “F” grade for their weak gun laws, according to Giffords Law Center to Prevent Gun Violence’s 2021 annual state scorecard rankings.
In 2020, the total gun death rate for rural communities—when age-adjusted per 100,000 people—was 40 percent higher than it was for large metropolitan areas.
For reference to my stat hating Bills fans.... 2021 Chicago rate was 29.6
The reality is that annually there are thousands of deaths by gun violence. The vast majority’s have taken place in inner cities (the data isn’t hard to verify), where you have some of the strictest gun control laws in the country.
You can use the per capita nonsense to spin the narrative, sure the averages will skew higher in sparsely populated rural areas, but the raw data says otherwise when pinpointing actual locations of violence.
I’ll take my chances in any Illinois Alabama Missouri rural town vs urban “inner-city” Chicago Birmingham or KC, how about you?

https://www.statista.com/statistics/476461/mass-shootings-in-the-us-by-legality-of-shooters-weapons/
“100 of the mass shootings in the United States between 1982 and December 2023 involved weapons which were obtained legally; a clear majority. Only 16 incidents involved guns that were obtained illegally.”
All depends
on what’s behind that data. Somehow I think all the firearm gang violence and “street” crime & criminal acts are left out under the “mass” shooting designation. If so you’d have to think just Chicago alone would skew those numbers in the opposite direction.

Only conjecture but i wouldn’t be surprised at all if this isn’t tied to street gangs. KC is no Disney Land.

Unfortunately for us beside KC the AFC is extremely competitive. It’s no easy task getting to the championship game. The stars aligned this year getting KC at home. You need to win, those opportunities are rare.
