  1. 1. GET TURNOVERS. The Patriots have turned the ball over 14x. Only 4 teams have turned it over more. With rain and cold temperatures expected, the Bills should feast on the Patriots sloppy offense. 2. RUN THE BALL. The Patriots have struggled mightily to stop the run. Their 24th ranked run defense should allow the Bills to control the clock. 1 + 2 = Win. Before anyone goes crazy, ask yourselves if you thought the 0-2 Bills could win on the road at the Vikings. How did they do it? They won the turnover battle 3-0 and won the rushing game 128 yards to 14 yards. The Patriots are an ideal matchup for the Bills. They turn the ball over and they can't stop the run. Originally thought this was a loss, but now believe the Bills could win. Bills 20. Pats 17.
  2. He will be gone by end of year.
  3. I prefer Peterman through the bye. I don't like playing a guy who is not physically ready to play and doesn't know the playbook. Doubt Peterman would have been any worse than a 37-5 loss to a 1-5 team. I think we will only see Anderson one more time on Monday Night. Find it hard to believe his body will make it another 4 quarters. Mondays weather could be brutal.
  4. Very confident in second half of season. Have not ruled out playoffs yet. 6 home games left. This team is not that bad. They are just inconsistent. They have two wins. They have played two home games. This is where expected them to be.
  5. 20-17 Bills.
  6. They lost Incognito and Wood very late. The O Line is not easy to fix, and it has improved. They have the money to fix it in off season. McCarron was worse than Peterman. The Bills saved $5M. The mistake they made was not getting Anderson before camp. Perhaps he wasn't interested.
  7. This makes it more like McCoy is headed to Philly and less likely Benjamin is going anywhere. Getting rid of McCoys contract for next year should be priority number 1. Ivory and Murphy proved yesterday there is no reason to spend a fortune on a running back.
  8. These guys deserve a thread pointing out what a good job they have done. Other than not sticking with Peterman for at least 4 games (trusting the process) and giving Allen a few games to learn a thing or two, they have actually done a great job. They panicked and rushed him along. Mistake. However, what they have done has been nothing short of a miracle. They made a decision to try to build a team that can win a championship, not just be a 9-7 team every year. This is what great leaders do. They have a plan and stick with it. 4 HUGE SUCCESSES 1) In their first year, they brought the Bills to the playoffs for the first time in 17years. 2) They got a franchise QB. 3) They built a top 10 defense. 4) They cleared out a ton of bad contracts and have $91 million in cap space for 2019. Great leaders have a plan and they stick with it.
  9. Wait until after Anderson is humiliated on MNF. The Peterman faction will never shut up. Anderson deserves better. He should be allowed to learn playbook and get in shape. He is going to be humiliated.
  10. He gets paid nothing. As a 3QB his job isn't to get in games but to prepare the team. He should have been a 3rd QB last year, not a backup.
  11. Way better than Peterman? Peterman threw a TD and had a much higher rating.
  12. No. He is the worst starting QB. He gets paid the league minimum. He actually is a great 3rd QB.
  13. He is only healthy guy on team that knows playbook. He actually is your typical 3rd QB. Gets paid nothing and takes snaps in emergencies.
  14. After bye 1 Allen 2 Anderson 3 Peterman on practice squad to pull up if either gets hurt. If Peterman is garbage just cut him at end of year.
  15. So losing 37-5 to a 1-5 football team wasn't an embarrassment?
  16. Well if you start Anderson and he gets injured you have just Peterman, which likely would make them rush Allen back. Start Peterman until Allen is ready and Anderson is in shape and learns the playbook.
  17. He should start. For the good of the team. Let Anderson learn the playbook and get in shape and after the bye go with Allen and Anderson as his backup. We are looking at Pats, Bears, Jets on road. Anderson will not survive that. He isn't ready to play yet.
  18. You cant bring in another QB. And the Defense yesterday was as bad as any effort by Peterman. They were torched. Peterman should start to ensure Allen isn't rushed back.
  19. The Bills have thrown one TD in last 19 quarters, Peterman to Zay Jones. That is it. Amazing.
  20. The Bills have thrown ONE Touchdown pass in the last 19 quarters. It was Peterman who threw it. He is a young player. They throw picks. Look at Rosen. Peterman is going to play unless Allen is rushed back. There is no chance Anderson survives. You play Anderson and he gets hurt and the Bills have just Peterman and will rush Allen back. No thanks. Start Peterman and let Anderson backup and give Allen all the time he needs.
  21. You have to. Or you have to rush Allen back. Anderson is already injured. No way he make it another game. Committing to Peterman = not rushing Allen back.
  22. He is here to teach, not get embarrassed and injured. Peterman is fine. He might even improve a little with Anderson showing him a thing or two. Allen is the franchise QB. Just don't rush him back. Peterman is playing whether people like it or not. Anderson will never survive another game or two, and they better not rush Allen back.
  23. Peterman has to start. Anderson's body is not going to survive another start. He limped off the field yesterday. 35yr olds without a preseason camp for conditioning won't last more than a game or two. If they want to start him Monday night go ahead. His body won't last more than another game.
  24. 1) Run the Ball. Yesterday the Bill's run game looked great. Let's keep it up. Must go heavy run. Regardless of score. Just stick with it. Ivory and Murphy looked great yesterday. Carries 22 Yards 135 Average 6.1 2) Make a commitment to Peterman and give him only safe outlet throws with a few shots down the field. He gets rid of the ball quickly. Allen comes back when 100% healthy unless Peterman gets hot. You can't play a QB who wasn't even at camp. Anderson is here to teach. Not to play. And enough with losing locker room if Peterman plays. He didn't play yesterday and they were blown out by a 1-5 team. 3) Lean on that Defense. Sure it gets exposed at times but it gets turnovers too. 4) Special Teams must step it up. If they do these 4 things they will be respectable and you never know if they get hot they might stay hot. Lastly, trade McCoy and Benjamin if you can. Worst case the Bills don't get hot but they clear out a bunch of cap space. The season is far from over.
  25. No he didn't. He didn't even throw a TD or lead his team to a TD. He was awful. This was the 1-5 Colts. How can you say a guy who didn't lead his team to a single TD against a 1-5 team played well. He turned the ball over 4 times. He only put up 3 points, so he turned the ball over more times than he scored points. Unheard of. And they were 1-5.
