the Daboll/Schoen regime - on the brink, it seems
Frostbite replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall
With the potential of Brady leaving for a HC job, do we bring back Daboll? Probably not as there was a rift between him and McD. He seemed to get the most out of Josh though. -
I'd argue it's the opposite. Mahomes is great, but pair him with another coach not as offensively creative as Reid and i genuinely dont believe he's a HOF QB. This was the perfect team/scheme for Mahomes to go to.

If i remember correctly, Kyler made a great play. Our 4 got there but Kyler was too elusive and got the throw off. Rodgers is not elusive at all and has a bum ankle. I think they shouldve brought 5 and force rodgers to throw it short or get to him for a sack.

Other Teams Cuts That Might Help the Bills

NFL refused to allow Caleb Williams tax moves
Frostbite replied to Saxum's topic in The Stadium Wall
That is correct. Would love to see their returns. Most states give a credit for taxes paid to other state jurisdictions to prevent double taxation. At the end of the day, each player is likely only paying in whatever their home state tax is (unless it's a very low rate or no tax like FL/TX/TN). -
UB Football $15 flash sale (now over)
Frostbite replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall
Do they still have the tailgate concert series? They brought some great bands in when I was there - Old Dominion was probably the most well known band that came. That alone made the price of admission worth it. -

Josh was a "leftover" was he not?... -
How often top UFA WRs get open vs single man coverage

Higgins was battling injuries this year so that played a factor -
How clutch was Josh in 2023? No other QB even came close
Frostbite replied to DJB's topic in The Stadium Wall
Stats like this mean anyone blaming Josh for the Bills falling short every year are lazy and follow whatever random narrative is thrown out there instead of coming up with their own analysis. -
Allen needs to mentally overpower Mahomes
Frostbite replied to Thrivefourfive's topic in The Stadium Wall
Straight up, Josh "overpowers" Mahomes every time and the rest of the team/coaches let Josh down. This sounds like just like the rest of the main stream media that has no clue what theyre talking about... you mustve just watched Steve A Smith when coming up with this one. -
Think it's unfair to come at the defense here. They did get off the field. The offense kept putting them back out there through turnovers and 3 and outs. The last Broncos drive was pitiful no doubt but you really couldnt ask the defense to do more the rest of the game.

Why didnt Tom Brady win every superbowl he went to if he wanted it more than everyone else? Winning is hard dude. I want to win the lottery more than everyone else and i swear i figured out the science to pick the winning numbers every time and yet I still don't have my lambo. Peyton Manning didnt win his first until his 10th year(?).

NY is a big market...

Agree. I get the skepticism due to Bernard but this guy can play. I've grown to love the pick.

We need a real life, live Buffalo pregame

Agree. As cool as it would be, i would feel terrible knowing the animal is probably scared out of its mind. -
Bills' receiving corps getting bigger for playoff football
Frostbite replied to Inigo Montoya's topic in The Stadium Wall
Do you watch playoff football? Shouldn't need PFF analysis to understand what happens. -
Let's remember he complained about taxes at one point. Almost seems like the bills offer was far above everyone else's when factoring that additional 10% tax

Would love this. Bring back the youth movement to the coaching staff. Not that Oats was young by any means but his style is so different from the old school mentality. Whitesell probably tried to replicate what Oats did but his old school thinking got in the way. Also, Hodgson won the TBT tourney with Blue Collar U. Continually involved with winning cultures.

Frazier: The hard FACTS on why many of us want a change.
Frostbite replied to Alphadawg7's topic in The Stadium Wall
Frazier doesnt call anything different than his base scheme. He's admitted multiple times his defense will not do anything differently to combat matchup issues. The reason KC handled Cinci is KC adjusted and called a game that would interfere with what Cinci wanted to do. Look at Tomlin against the Ravens late this season - Tomlin stacked the line with 5 linemen/3 LBs and dared Balt/Huntly to throw it. You dont need to be this drastic but have some situational awareness at a minimum and call a game that's not so damn predictable/conservative.- 192 replies

Final Pro Football Focus Oline Season Grades
Frostbite replied to 78thealltimegreat's topic in The Stadium Wall
WRT Teller, he's a mauler best suited for run blocking. The run heavy scheme in Clev fits his strengths perfectly. I'd still take him any day over what we have, just dont think he'd grade out as strongly here. Rd 1 we take best available IOL. -
