Well it's started every night on the local news they are telling of the up & coming 2019 draft in Nashville & what to expect as far as street closures, & the amount of patrons that will be coming to town, they even are asking how much more inventory certain vendors will be getting on hand due to the streets being closed & them not being able to get deliveries during the days that lead up to the draft & through out the duration of it !

Not to mention Nashville is boasting having the biggest stage which will be right down on the Cumberland river behind the Hard Rock & 2nd ave (i believe)  where the Wild Horse saloon & other honky tonks are which Broadway T's into, that is where all the happening usually are down town .

There was one vendor that they talked to last night on the news that is right down town that said even with all the things that have happened in the past down town as far as NHL all star game week, New years celebration that he has never seen something this big down there before !

At one point i read where the NFL needed room on one street so they asked the city to cut down some cherry trees, the city didn't want to have to purchase more so they are digging them up & replanting them which wouldn't be a big thing but they lined a street & there was some 300 trees !!

Down town will be a absolute ZOO for the next 3 weeks + !!

Yep the NFL is making a huge impression on Nashville & it has only just begun i don't think i will be making any trips down town until it has all subsided & gotten back to normal i will try & do some updates from time to time if you all find any interest in this, I'm glad i live far enough north of town it shouldn't bother me much at all but the biggest thing i can't wait to here is when they say .

And with the #9 pick the Buffalo Bills Choose ??????????

I'm pretty sure I heard they were going to cut down 15 - 20 cherry trees and then ppl got mad and protested it... so then the city changed its plans...but that's the news I saw down here in Chattanooga so I could be wrong

haven't been to Nashville yet ... was thinking of maybe going to the draft on one of the days ... hope I can make it up there ... sounds like it could be fun

    rookie

And Meatball did not hit the ground running in his rookie season either.

I guess the mistake I made was saying the next Kyle Williams... I can see Harry as the next Kyle...guess what I should have said was I'm looking for that high impact DT...

Kyle's replacement was drafted LAST year.

Now.....I think we should look to get better at the position sure....but the position was addressed a year earlier.   Gotta give these kids time to develop and Horrible Harry was not bad in his rookie year.

I like Harry but he doesn't seem to be making any sort of impact ... haven't gotten any kind of feel as if he could be a pass rusher... maybe they're just bringing him along slowly, not sure, but so far he seems to be JAG on the rotation.

Yes it is a highlights tape - but his elusiveness just jumps out. And looks like he might not be bad in space and with ball security.  With the oldest backfield in NFL history, I will take anything I can get. And Wade looks great. Oh, he can be an asset in the return game as well. Maybe we will see some laterals.

I just hope someone tells him to stay down after he is tackled and not to get that extra yard unless it is needed to move the chains. In the NFL it is a fumble waiting to happen.

What is the benefit to developing him? Do we at least get rights to him next year?

I just edited my post..looks like Sal made a mistake

  5. I think Burns is to "Maybinish" for my liking... too small right now... I'm going with DT Christian Wilkins at #9 to give Bills some inside pass rush, its whats needed to beat Brady... Then I go #40 - WR N.K. Harry, move back into 2nd round and take DE Jaylon Furguson...

but if Burns can add 30#'s of muscle then go Burns at #9, WR N.K. Harry at #40 and then maybe DT Khalen Saunders in the 3rd and TE Kahale Warring in the 4th with RB Rodney Anderson also

With Morse’s concussion history I’m hesitant to do that in case Long ends up starting at one of the Guard spots and can’t back him up

I can understand that, but i think the O-line spots will be full b4 they can say keep him

edit - actually forget that...I could see these as the linemen:

    Morse - OC

    Bodine - OC

    Long - OG/OC

    Teller - OG

    Feliciano - OG

    Nsehke - OT

    Waddle - OT

    Dawkins - OT

This is looking more and more like that first pick is either going to be a DT or a TE to me.......

If they take a OT its gonna be a guy later.....and are choosing to use free agency to retool this OL with veteran guys.....Ty is probably our starter this year and honestly deserves that shot......

    Probably looking at

    Dawkins - LT

    Teller- LG

    Morse - C

    Spencer Long - RT

    Ty - LT

A veteran OL to go in front of our young QB.......

    or :

    Nsehke - LT

    Dawkins - LG

    Morse - C

    Long - RG

    Waddle - RT

    or:

    Dawkins - LT

    Faliciano - LG

    Morse - C

    Long - RG

    Nsehke - RT
