Gun to head it's between Andre Dillard and Christian Wilkins

if either are there in the mid 20's, I could see bills moving back into rd 1 for them

I don't necessarily think it's wise to draft another LB so high despite believing that taking advantage of Edmunds' versatility would be better than simply playing him at MLB, but having said...

I did my best to determine the snap counts from the 3 LBs when all 3 were healthy and it looks like when all 3 were healthy, they played the following percentage of defensive snaps (ignoring special teams):

    Edmunds: 99%

    Milano: 90%

    Lorax: 52%

So while Lorax was obviously used significantly less, he was still playing over half the defensive snaps.

So again, I don't necessarily think it would be wise to take another LB that high, but they could still make it work with Edmunds, Milano, and White/Bush all playing the majority of snaps.

    Other thoughts on the article:

It's a good read, but as others pointed out, kinda weird that he just assumes Hockenson came in for a visit so that he can make him the choice while still fitting the main criteria, which is that every player they've drafted in the 1st has come in for an official visit.

It is very likely that Hockenson has been visiting with teams on the down low, but we simply don't know who those teams are. It might include the Bills but it might not.

is that 52% all at OLB or is he playing DE in some of that 52%?

  2. ok this is my actual mock not one from a site...it has no trades, connections to FO and visits, but I actually like some of these guys for them to draft:

1(9) - Ed Oliver, DT, Houston

    2(40) - N'Keal Harry, WR, Arizona State

3(74) - Dawson Knox, TE, Ole Miss

4(112) - Damien Harris, RB, Alabama

4(131) - Nate Davis, OL, Charlotte

5(147) - Max Crosby, DE, Eastern Michigan

5(158) - Anthony Johnson, WR, Buffalo

6(181) - Trevon Wesco, TE, West Virginia

7(225) - Hamp Cheevers, CB, Boston College

    7(228) -

Knox was reported awhile ago but looking at his list, Greg Little was the one i never saw. Ed Oliver is in today too.

unless I'm mistaken and they are the same, this thing looks like a second visit for Knox...1st a private workout and now a pre-draft visit...I think they could go Knox and Wesco in the draft

Unfortunately, I think Russel Wilson’s new deal takes Clark off the trade table. Had they not signed him, they likely would have franchised him next season, meaning for sure Clark could be a FA. Now, they can franchise Clark if they want him to stay - and I’m sure they do.

they could, but right now Sea is sitting there with less then $3mil left and they still have 21 players to sign to get to 90...plus both Clark and Wagner are FA next year, which might make it hard for them to decide who to tag...I think they might have to trade one of those 2 and Clark might be their best shot to trade...doesnt mean they will though thats just my thoughts

So Frank Clark or Jadaveon Clowney assuming the acquisition cost and contract is similar?

    Give me either tbh.

Clark is a lot better than Clowney.  People still over rate Clowney off his one tackle in college.

Clark is both worth the draft capital it will take to get him and contract we would pay him.  Clowney is a good player, but he is not worth the contract he wants let alone both the draft capital and contract we would have to use to get him.  In fact, Clowney has never had a single season worth the contract he wants where Clark has done it multiple times and is still only 25.

To me you try to trade back into the teens with someone and pick up an extra 2nd and 3rd or 4th depending on who it is.  If it is the Giants from 17 for instance, you should garner a 2nd and a 3rd.  They'd over pay slightly but to me it's worth it.  To pick at 17 then have all those extra picks and then give the Seahawks what they need to get pick 21.  Then you make the trade for pick 21.  To get the teens pick, the pick at 21 and still have a 2nd and 3rd rounder but also giving up an our original 2nd and 3rd rounders = winning.

    Pick 21 = 800 pts

    Pick 40 = 500

    Pick 74 = 220

    Pick 112 = 70

    Pick 158 = 27

    That should get it done.

ah..so your looking at trading down first with someone in the teens then give Sea a call and offer but still keep picks in every round almost...I could see that

For me, I'd love to land any of White, Oliver, or Allen...not sure any of the 3 will be there. If all are gone, I'm probably looking at Wilkins or Sweat.  If they think that Jawaan Taylor can play LT, then that's a guy you look at as well.

I like white also, but aren't the Bills usually in a nickel base with just 2 LB's?...I like both Milano and Edmunds for that...who would you take out for White? ...would you draft White at 9 to play low snap counts?...just curious

LMAO - someone give this guy a merit badge for most over dramatic post of the month.

he needs to sit on the front porch with the guy from another thread that said almost the same thing he did but about the offense, not the defense...cant remember who it was but they went on a rant about not scoring more then 5 points a game if we went defense over offense

I mean... He was a rookie backup behind a future wall of famer

I get that...I'm not saying he had to have a DROY showing...just saying at times I forgot he was playing and right now I can't recall how much he rushed the passer...could be just me not remembering well tho..lol

  11. I chose pick #5 ... 5 and 6 have the same cost so why not go with the better one...I don't want to lose my picks in rd 2 and 3, not with the talent that is there this year, so #4 is out for me too ... no way I'm giving the Jets my 2nd and next years 1st ... in reality, I don't see anybody in this draft worth moving up for from #9... if I was a team in the 20's maybe I would but not already being in the top 10 ...
