  1. Give Suggs 10 million per....and cut the high priced tubs from the o line and Kelsay and the 32 yr old non productive Schobel as well. Whatever it takes.

well if all we picked up was Suggs I'd get rid of Kelsay and keep Denney and Schobel...rotate Denney and Schobel on one side and leave Suggs on the other...I really wish I knew whats up with Ellis and why they are not playing him...If hes not good enough to play at DE or on ST then get rid of him...only reason I'd keep Denney over Kelsay is the $ factor...If they brought in Suggs at least 1 of the high priced DE's would need to go...now if they brought in Suggs and drafted one of the two DE's in my sig then I'd go : Suggs, rookie, Schobel, Ellis(if hes still here), Bryan...I could be wrong but I think a healthy Schobel would still be worth keeping for a rotation..only thing that would make me dump him is if his contract is just to hard to keep with Suggs and a 1st round DE rookie...but we all know theres no way Buffalo goes after Suggs and most likely they wont draft a DE in round 1..we'll all be lucky if they draft a DE at all.

  2. who cares if it is cold out it is still an advantage...sign it any way

what hes saying is - if it rains (highly doubtful) or snows (most likely will) the water will not be able to drain thus ruining the surface and costing the stadium many many $'s..so your cause is basicaly useless

  3. this is our crappy lineup for football on thanksgiving day:

    TEN vs. DET - 12:30pm

    SEA vs. DAL - 4:15pm

    ARI vs. PHI - 8:15pm

wow..boooring!!!...we get to watch the best team in NFL (TEN) beat up on one of the Worst teams in the past 10 years (DET).. 45 - 0 for this game...then we get to watch another bad team (SEA) against a implodeing team (DAL)..Romo should be back for this one, but still, who wants to watch this anyways...this last game looks interesting tho...two 5-3 teams (as of week 10) going at it...would rather they changed one of the games to NYG vs. WAS or something.

  4. I might watch it. Didn't get to see the whole game. Still trying to figure out how 25 for 36 and 289 yards and a TD and still only score 10 points and lose by 9 ...

it's called turnovers in the 20 or just plain turnovers..take your pick(punn intended)

  5. titles that give someone an indication of the topic of discussion really a difficult thing to do? It's been getting out of control lately.

    Sorry. Grumpy today.

sooo...your turning from a green pond frog into a red tree frog..hmmmm

  6. How about roll outs? Did we roll Trent out away from pressure?

on the play when Trent was sacked and he fumbled the ball, I was wondering why he wasn't rolling out to the left..all the receivers were on his left and he was standing still and staring at them all and had his back to the right side..I feel he really should have rolled out left on that play...I don't think we'll ever know if he was supposed to roll out or not.

  7. I'm not sure if Id look at sacks as a measuring point ..a lot of teams are using QB's with quicker reading skills and quicker throwing skills...Marino was very good at avoiding sacks due to his quick release...Trent has a very quick release as well..I know there were a couple games he didn't get sacked at all..Brady is another QB thats good at avoiding sacks due to good defensive reading skills and quick releases...Id say the more impactive stats would be QB hits and QB hurries...this to me makes the QB think about something else for a split sec thus forcing more throws and ending in more incomplete passes and INT's..I think our guys are there a lot to hit and hurry the opposing QB's, we just need our DB's to start grabbing more INT's..but thats a different post

  8. just out of curiosity..whats the difference in 3rd downs allowed from last year to this year?

I'm blaming any losses solely on the defense but you have to admit they should have played better against Arizona..also the lack of pass rush and lack of sacks is a little disturbing.

  9. Round 1- C -- agree (see sig)

Round 2- RG -- from here down is just stupidity..do you really expect a line of all rookies to be better?

Round 3- LT -- Peters will be fine..hopefully he gets a wakeup call from this season and comes back next season ready

Round 4- LG -- this one I agree with but in 5th (see sig)

    Round 5- RT

Round 6- TE -- how is a 6th round TE gonna make our TE position better?

    Round 7- FB

It's crazy what a difference a year makes. Last year our pass blocking was up there with the best in the league.

  10. I could see them winning this division -- Highly disagree

    Seattle -- Win -- Agree

    Oakland -- Win -- Disagree

NE -- Loss.. possibly a win -- Agree

    St. Louis-- Win -- Disagree

Buffalo-- Not sure.. Toronto -- I think Buffalo beats them this time

San Fran -- Win -- Agree

Kansas City -- Win -- this could go either way

Jets -- Could go either way -- Agree

looks like they could end up 6-10 or 8-8...either way, they are much improved from last season in win/lose column anyways..I think they had more idvidual talent last year but this season they are better as a team and will get better after another offseason...If Buffalo and the Jets dont do something this offseason we could possably see Miami in the top 2 spots of the AFC East next season

  11. how does our secondary match up with Jets recievers?...I know they have Coles who'll most likely see Greer covering him since right now he's our best CB fully healthy...McGee is back and although he was torched last week, he should be more towards 100% than he was vs. Miami...Youboty is back as the nickelback..ofcourse we have Whitner at 100%...how does Scott fit in this week?..I know hes big and physical, wich is good to cover TE's...the weakest link I see is Ellison at LB..hes a backup at best not a starter and he's at the LB position that covers on passing downs...so if any of you are familiar with Jets recievers, please tell me how we match up.

  12. first of all all you need to do is look at my sig and you'll see Lee Evans stats for this year...hes in the top 10 in the NFL and top 2 in the AFC..This has a lot to do with the fact that Lee has Trent Edwards throwing to him and finally the coaches are useing Freddy and Lynch in the passing game, added with a tall WR in Hardy also on the field...your friend has to understand thats there's a difference between a #1 WR and a "Elite" WR..right now R. Moss and T.O are elite WR's(with huge egos)...other than those 2 I cant think of any other "elite" WR's playing at this time..don't even try to add #85 to the list..he's a #1 WR with a big ego and thats it...I think Lee is a #1 that hasnt been able to benefit from any "real" help in the WR corp and has been hampered by the QB shuffle the past 5 years...Reed is a very good #3 not a #2 WR and Parrish has been way under-utilized and Losman tries to throw to Lee 90% of his throws(this is not factual, just my opinion)...most defenses dont pay attention to our WR corp and double up on Lee..with no "real" #2 WR(hopefully Hardy changes this) and no recieving TE, Lee has had a harder time getting his yards/catches...With Lee Evans #'s this year and if Buffalo adds a recieving TE and Hardy steps up next year you'll see a lot more ppl looking at Evans as top notch WR..right now everybody overlooks him because he's a Buffalo Bill.

I'm wondering if Jones brought in Williams incase he decides to dump T.O...this way he has a #1 WR on the roster...I cant think of any real reason why you would spend a #1 and #3 on another #1 WR when they'r going to be needing a CB/S to replace Pacman and a few other spots need help also...I actually thought they were looking good with recievers like T.O and Whitten...but we all know how Jones likes to spend his money

  13. Biscuit played for the Bills from 1987 to 1995 and was a key player in helping the bills reach four super bowls, the playoffs in 88,89. He made the Pro Bowl 88,90,91,92,93- 5 pro bowls.

Cornelius Bennett played LOLB and Bruce Smith played RDE, those two raised hell for opposing teams offenses. I'm pretty certain that the Bills would gladly make that trade again.

Don't forget he went to play for Atlanta after he left the Bills and they went to a super bowl with him.

    some stats

In his 14 NFL seasons, he recorded 71 sacks, 7 interceptions, 112 return yards, 27 fumble recoveries, 78 fumble return yards, and 2 touchdowns (1 interception and one fumble return).

At the time of his retirement, his 26 defensive fumble recoveries were the third most in NFL history.

I don't deny what he did for Buffalo, but could you as a coach or a owner sit there and look at a rookie that hasn't proven anything yet and say " ok I think he'll do good so I'll bank 2 #1's and a #2 on him now"?..knowing well that if he doesn't pan out you've just hampered your teams growth severely?..because if he doesn't pan out your out 3 day 1 draftpicks and you still need a LOLB

  14. wow...I might get blasted for saying this but...I don't think Bennett was worth two #1's and a #2..maybe 1988's #1 and #4 but not two years worth of 1st rounders...I don't really remember Dickerson much, sooo, was he really worth all those picks?...I mean I have to say the Rams made out like Bandits that year for just 1 RB

But I have also say that the Bills made it and lived thru it and went to 4 SB's even without the draft picks they gave away..so alls well...I don't think we'll ever see that magnitude of trade again in this era of the NFL...

  15. I thought it was good read..and hes right, the fans in Buffalo no matter how bad you think they are, will never be as bad as the fans from soccer games...USA aside, soccer in other countries is taken as seriously as religion...injuries and death occur among fans in soccer stadiums and at bars...that being said, I'm glad we in the USA don't carry it that far and show more civilized fandom

I could have read wrong but I'm sure he was stating what the women from Ottawa said..so he really didn't need to look up facts at all...maybe the women should have recalled better...some of you need to calm down a bit...the man was writeing a fun article on how he feels the game was better due to the power being out thus takeing him back to the days b4 jumbotrons and electronic game time clocks...for those of you that want full facts and only real facts on the Bills, go write your own articles and post them on internet news sites..But I dont want see anything written from your heart, just facts.

  16. my 2 most hated commercials are:

"Its my money, and I want it now!!"...I F'N hate this commercial

"Its's HUUUUGGGGGGGGGEEEEE!!!!".....for Rochester area fans you'll know this one...I hate that guy..I also Hate him because he bought 95.1/95.5 the Nerve and destroyed it...some reason because he has money he thinks he a king or something

  17. this is the line I have the biggest problem with:

He (Brown) is the most dynamic player on either team and, as the Patriots found out, he can essentially beat a team by himself.

I take nothing away from Brown in this game..he had a great game...but these stupid reporters need to remember that no team had practiced, watched tape or even thought about the type of offense that Miami used that day...if it was any other team that Miami had done this to, and not the 18 - 1 "god like" Pats*, they wouldnt be talking about it as much..everyone has seen how well it has worked for Miami since teams can now study it and practice for it.
