  1. I dont know...the more I think about it the more I see Pettigrew...only thing is I think the Bills try to trade down like 4-5 spots and grab another 3rd round pick and then take Pettigrew...just not sure if Bills are in a good position to trade down with..I cant think of any team that would need pick #11 to get there guy...only other way is to trade up with pick # 28 to grab Pettigrew b4 the Falcons do, but I hate trade ups...course maybe Bills could talk Lions into trading there #20 and a 3rd for Bills #11 so Lions can grab Oher or Smith b4 anyone else does...ok im going to go with this scenario: Lions trade pick #20 and #82 to Bills for Pick #11 and the Lions pick - Micheal Oher OT with pick #20 the Bills take Brandon Pettigrew TE and with pick #28 the Bills take Lawrence Sidbury, Jr. (best 4-3 DE left) per nfl.com: Analysis Positives: Solidly built athlete with room for additional mass, especially in his upper body. Long arms. Flashes initial quickness off the snap to pressure the outside. Good lateral quickness to redirect back to the inside if he senses the tackle leaning outside. Good hand placement and use of leverage to bull rush the tackle into the pocket. Can close quickly with an open lane. Good effort in pursuit. Helped himself with a solid week of practice at the East-West Shrine Game. Negatives: Lacks the height and bulk in his lower body most teams prefer in a defensive end. Marginal strength at the point of attack and can be targeted in the running game. Likes to run around blocks in space, rather than take them on and discard. Lacks explosiveness off the snap and is often late. Compares To: HUGH DOUGLAS, ex-Philadelphia -- Sidbury could also be compared to Philadelphia's Trent Cole and Denver's Elvis Dumervil. They all might lack the size you look for in a 4-3 defensive end, but all have been able to compensate for that deficiency with their long wing span and explosion off the snap. Some scouts compare him to the Colts' Dwight Freeney, but Sidbury is not that fast or explosive and has shown more consistent leverage as a run defender at this stage in his career. His style of play is similar to that of Douglas, in that he uses leverage and natural power to defeat bigger blockers but can also pick up sacks in bunches with effort.
  2. lol..comon..so I don't spell great..big deal
  3. this is what NFL.com campares Johnson to: Compares To: SIMEON RICE, ex-Tampa Bay -- Johnson has a lanky, wiry frame that gets him in trouble on running plays, on which he can't sink his pads well enough to prevent double teams from washing him out. Also like Rice, he seems too enamored with making the sack and will forget a lot of his other assignments, especially gap responsibility. Some "experts" compare him to the Giants' Mathias Kiwanuka or even to Julius Peppers -- neither comparison can be further from reality. Johnson's game isn't well-rounded. Johnson disappears for long stretches and that shouldn't happen for a player with his athletic ability and rare-sized frame. His physical attributes are what a team is going to drool over when they take him much earlier than his production indicates he should go on draft day. other than Johnson pick I like your draft...I think Larry English would be there at #28 and would be better than Johnson tho
  4. well in my other post i asked why all the man love, but I wouldn't go as far to say screw him...since that post I tried to find some highlights on him..I only found 1 highlight reel..sad that they put his fumble on it tho..lol...anyways, I wouldn't be apposed to it, just not sure with the depth of TE this year I would use my 1st rounders on him....I guess I wouldn't be mad if they traded down a few spots and grabbed Pettigrew and maybe someone like Larry English(DE) at #28..then got either Phil Loadholt(OT) or Jamon Meredith(OT) in the 2nd
  5. I wouldnt step in a church even if I wasnt a football fan church =
  6. I definatly wouldnt want to see a CB at #28, but I have an idea why he chose it...1- buffalo seems to go DB a lot in early rounds, 2 - he probably sees Buffalo doing the same thing with Mcgee in 2 years what they did with Greer this year...let him go and get paid by another team...McGee's contract is up soon and breaking in his replacement now is probably what "Mr.X" (Florio) was thinking
  7. ok Im really not getting the man love for Pettigrew at all...everything that I read and hear about the guy is that hes best suited as a blocking TE and doesn't have any real speed to stretch the field at all..most say hes a short yardage TE at best...so why the man love?...are we really looking for another Royal to be added when for the last 4 years at-least everybodies been screaming for a receiving threat TE?...Personaly I'd rather grab a TE like Coffman...If the Bills FO feels Fine can be the answer at TE then I'd prefer they wait till they grab the posiotions they really need before looking at Pettigrew..but thats just my opinion
  8. I wouldn't go as far to say that Heap is "available"...It looks to me as if hes just being offered in this situation to get a WR for the Ravens...It does say that Heap is in the doghouse, but not that he's being put up for any team to offer a trade for...If he is up for trade, the Ravens are either being very quite about it or the media hasn't caught on yet.
  9. well my vote is for Lori..shes the most familiar with both worlds that I can tell..get to it Lori
  10. at best he plays RT for a year or 2 then moves to LT if needed..imo that is
  11. ppl really need to calm down every time Buffalo is mentioned and it doesnt say "Buffalo is the best city in the world"..lol
  12. I personaly would like to see #11 DE and #28 OLB ( Brown and Cushing)..2nd round grab Max Unger who can play C/G..3rd round grab a TE to compliment or push Fine...oh heck, just look at my sig
  13. they'll just put all 3 of em in the backfeild to return the punt...one will lay down on the ground and pop up after the balls kicked.
  14. hmm...didnt think about that..that might make most sense...this way if anything happens he can be called back up.
  15. no..I just thought maybe he had an upside and might turn out to be reliable as a backup when needed..sometimes I wonder why teams keep guys and then just throw them away a year or two later...sometimes it seems as if they keep some guys just to make the 53 member squad 53 members...Lynch is only suspended for 3 games, wich might be reduced to 2, if you cant rely on ur 3rd RB to act as a backup to your 2nd RB for 2-3 games total, then why even keep him at all?...now I understand you want atleast 3 RB's on the roster, and that bringing a veteran makes for 3 for those 2-3 games, but I cant see Buffalo signing Rhodes for just 3 games and parting ways...so that means the Bills either keep 4 RB's or dump either Rhodes or Omon by game 4...personaly, with so many WR's and DB's, I dont think they can keep 4 RB's all year.
  16. I know ur being sarcastic, but honestly, does he have a shot or no?...If your not going to use your picks from 5th and on then i dont see any reason to actually pick them..If you only plan on useing picks 1-4 then just forfeit the rest and go home...ok so he might not be a starter, but do you see him being able to push Ellison or pizza man to the curb?
  17. hmm Im not really understanding then...are they saying in case they trade Parrish, a 6th rounder next year will replace him?...I really hope this is not true...I would rather have had a 3rd rounder this year...most 6th rounders end up either on the bench playing ST's or cut...very few turn out to be Brady's...of course they could be thinking a 6th rounder next year can come in and return punts, doesn't matter what position he plays??
  18. am I the only one that still remembers that Buffalo has a LB named Bowens?...I ask only cuz noone seems to add him to the mix at all...I know he was hurt thru his rookie year, but Id like see what he can bring to the table...If Buffalo drafts a OLB this season, who do you see them cutting?...is Bowens talented enough to take the starting spot?
  19. ok so who do you think Bills cut loose to keep Thomas and Florence?....I can see Ellison going to keep Thomas but theres to many CB's to keep Florence...I dont think they cut Corner or Youboty...Id hate to see them let Bowen go..hes still young and if hes full health from that injury , he could be a good LB..plus I think Buffalo drafts a OLB..if they dont then theres room for Thomas most definatly
  20. my biggest question of this years aquisitions so far is who out of them do the Bills really keep? C/G Hangartner - definatly keep and he starts at C WR Owens - definatly keep C/G McKinney - most likely keep as depth LB Thomas - I dont see him staying, unless they decide hes better than Ellison and Ellison gets the boot CB Florence - dont see him makeing the cut either..to many CB's RB Rhodes - stays and the Bills cut Omon C Philip - most likely stays for C depth WR Sam - gone..way to many WR's DE Smith - dont see him staying either T Scott - depends on Bell's ability and wether or not Bills draft a LT, but otherwise hes gone QB Fitzpatrick - definatly stays as #2 QB I could be wrong, so please tell me if these guys are really any better than the depth we have
  21. only thing I think they really should have done was keep Dokerey a little longer till they knew for sure what Peters was going to do...although most ppl said Dokerey didnt play to his contract, it still might have been better than redoing the whole left side along with center
  22. so do you think they keep 4 RB's on the roster or dump Omon?..havent heard anybody mention him or the fact he might be lost
  23. I think they stay on the D side at #11 and either take BJ Raji, if he falls that far, or the best DE available...there's a good LT Bills can take in the 2nd..so useing my sig, I say they go 2 D in the 1st and then LT in the 2nd...another reason I think they go DE is the rumor that Kelsay is on the trade block
