Can't blame the guy for looking at all of his options...Even if he really likes it in Buffalo, he should still see what other clubs are offering...I'm not sure if he walked out of Buffalo with an offer or not...I'm not going to say that by getting him our defense will be better or not, but if the Bills feel he could be an upgrade, then I'm all for him becoming a Bill.

What is the possibility of using Rhodes as a FB option?
Tsaikotic replied to Poeticlaw's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm going to have say that since the arrest of McIntyre, the Bills could decide to cut McIntyre and go with Jackson or Rhodes leading the way for Lynch...course this is all dependent on whether McIntyre is guilty or not...Cutting McIntyre would save a spot for another player tho...the Bills have a lot of WR's and DB's to decide on to keep and cut...we'll have to see -

Roscoe returns punts not kickoffs, but I understand what your asking...there's an article on Bills website with an interview with B. April...I'm not going to quote, but he says the Bills should be ok due to the fact that they use a 3 man wedge..they'll only have to take 1 guy away..he says some teams use a 4 man wedge and that those teams will have the most difficulty adjusting...he also says that the wedge means guys lined up shoulder to shoulder(or something like that)...I'm figuring he'll find a way to do what he wants and still be under the rule

she handles the shaft nicely...just the right grip whats up with the tennis short skirt she was wearing?...don't recall LPGA wearing those...course I don't watch a lot LPGA

I'm not so sure I'd go that far..the Colt's D was having some problems, it wasn't until Bob Sanders got back from injury that the D started to gell again...course, like you said, it was during the playoffs...I agree with your second sentence tho.

yea I agree a lot of ppl here wanted Buffalo to get him at #11..I'm glad he never made it that far, even tho I don't think Buffalo would have grabbed him if he did fall to #11...I'm all for a guy making sure he has the right guy representing him, but he seems to be having a hard time figuring out who that guy is going to be...I've never heard of a rookie having such a hard time choosing an agent...wonder how long he takes to actually sign a contract...feel bad for the Bengals having to try to get the contract done..lol..ok so I lied..I never feel bad for the Bengals.

Help- Pisa AND Mitchell are.....
Tsaikotic replied to bflobarry's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I hear what your saying..just going by the explanation told by the team, I think ...But, you can't call a WILL-LB lined up in the SAM-LB spot a SAM-LB if hes still doing the WILL-LB duties..LOL -
I'm I the only one who doesn't want Pisa Tinoisamoa
Tsaikotic replied to uticaclub's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I was thinking the same thing when I noticed he was from Rochester..lol..I knew he wasn't in Buffalo because he said 2 am closing, which in Buffalo it's 4 am..unless they changed it? -
Help- Pisa AND Mitchell are.....
Tsaikotic replied to bflobarry's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think we need to pinn an explanation on the way the Bills LB's are set up... Mitchell is a Sam LB playing in the Will spot...Buffalo switches its LB's arround...they play the Sam in the Will's spot and the Will in the Sam's spot...or the weak side LB plays in the Strong side LB spot and the Strong plays in the Weaks spot...so Pisa would be a WILL-LB playing in the SAM-LB side...and Mitchell is the teams SAM-LB playing in the WILL-LB spot. -

don't forget that this is an incomplete sentence also...wheres the word 'what' that should be leading that sentence? sentance is spelled sentence..get a spell checker edit: ok sorry somebody already caught your spelling and you acknowledge it -

I don't understand the whole "why take a good player cut by a bad team..he must be bad" thing...many times players good or bad get cut/traded by new HC's on the team...not saying this is the case, but it happens and the Rams do have a new HC...some ppl are saying he was cut because he was to small for the HC's liking...which falls under new HC cuts..but like I said, I'm not saying that's the case. -
who did us worse, TDonohue or Marv 2nd incarnation?
Tsaikotic replied to zazie's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I honestly feel this move hurt the BIlls a lot...I seem to recall the year or 2 after Jones was gone that the players seemed to always be getting hurt or pulling something -
so your saying the Bills shouldn't sign anyone unless we've heard of him?...I'm not sure why hes being cut..I'm sure the Bills FO does...you'd rather Buffalo goes after an OT that has been hurt often and no other team seems to want, but your not concerned about that at all?...I wouldn't mind a stud DT, but I don't see any available, so it its mute....

yea but seriously..if Digi or Ellison were all that good, why would Buffalo even look at other LB's?..depth? I could see maybe keeping Ellison over Costanzo...I can't see them outright cutting Bowens when they still don't know what he can bring...Ellison's 73 tackles and 2 pass defensed can sit on the bench or sit at home...I'm ok with either aslong as he's not starting...Digi is coming off an injury year, but he had a good year in 2007 tho...both are kinda small at 229 pounds each tho
-
NFL.com has him listed as 6'1" 240 lbs...that would make him the biggest LB on the team..only by a few pounds tho...but he would be the only Lb in the 240's...my last post I wrote that maybe he plays only on run defense, but I can see him playing all downs... I can see the LB core as: Mitchell, Poz, Tinoisamoa, Harris, Thomas, Bowen, Costanzo
-
is this another situational player move?..I don't know much about Pisa and from what some of you have said, he is a slb and not a wlb..could they be trying to put 2 slb on the field on running defense and then throwing a s/lb tweener like Harris for pass defense?...we don't have any DT's capable of Buffalo switching from 4-3 to 3-4 do they?..maybe on certain plays seeing a 3-4 with Mitchell - Harris - Poz - Pisa? run defense = Mitchell - Poz - Pisa pass defense = Mitchell -Poz - Harris

Peters sack totals (maybe not that bad)
Tsaikotic replied to BeastMode54's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
one problem with Joyners #'s is that they were for run blocking only..he didn't mention anything about any of the teams o-lines pass blocking...from what I can remember, the worst sacks allowed where when J.P. was behind center..of course I can't remember the play that knocked out Edwards... -

wow..I sure would have hated to have been in that class.. anyways, I forgot TD had full control and in my earlier post I stated R. Wilson had most control of hiring coaches...I guess I was wrong...But I still say he had some control, especially over how much TD could spend on a coach...Wilson probably said "tom..go get your coach of your choice..just don't spend more than 1-2 mil/year" (I don't know how much coaches got paid then or now..LOL) -

I think the one thing ppl keep overlooking that has an impact on all GM's that Buffalo has had, is that Ralph Wilson is the owner...I say this because he most likely had some input on all the decisions that TD and Levy made as GM's...All the coaches hired are decided on by R. Wilson ultimately...When Ralph says he's not going to pay the high prices of great coaches you get the middle of the road to low end coaches left out there...Both TD and Levy found some talent in the drafts and they both found some losers...I give Levy a few more points in his drafting than TD only due to the way TD traded away picks that the Bills needed and for who he traded them for...I don't like some of the players that TD let go, but I wasn't at the meetings and I wasn't privy to the conversations that took place between Bills FO and the players that left/were let go...I was very upset to see Pat Williams and Ted Williams let go...I don't like how Sam Adams was treated in his last year or 2...I didn't like to see Clements go, but I'm glad Bills didn't pay him what he wanted...I wish the Bills would have kept Winfield...All these were moves made by TD...Levy brought in Dockerey, but at the time it was a great move..Our O-lines have sucked for some time and Dockerey was an upgrade for a bit of time...I honestly don't think Levy stayed long enough to really adjust the team, and I think he did ok with never really being a GM b4 or never really wanting to be a GM b4...Levy only really came in to help out Ralph, he never really planned on being a 10 year GM to the team...So far I'm ok with what Brandon has done with Modrak...But if your going to compare the GM's by basing them off there coaching hires, you need to look at Ralph Wilson for that. -
earlier the title of his thread was nm..and he had some messed up crap written..looked like this: with some writing here so thats why I asked what nm meant...not sure if it was a mess up by the server or something he did

according to Billsdaily , Digiorgio is the only depth at MLB the Bills have...I'm wondering which of the other 10 OLB's they have listed could be a MLB...Obviously Mitchell is the starting strong side LB...here's the other 9: Keith Ellison (6-0 229) - last years starting WSLB...most want him gone...little undersized Nic Harris (6-2 232) - This years 5th round pick...projected to be the starting WSLB at some point..hope he adds some size this off season Pat Thomas (6-1 237 ) - 2009 FA pickup...I don't know much about him or what LB position he played elsewhere...could start at WSLB Alvin Bowen (6-1 222) - last years 5th round rookie...was injured in training camp...looks small...can only hope he added some size this off season Marcus Buggs (5-11 225) - another of Bills PS LB's last year...looks to be undersized..other than that I have no info Jon Corto (6-0 208) - wow..never realized how underweight he is...made the team for his ST's play, not sure he'll make it this year Vince Hall (6-0 238) - On PS last year..we'll have to see if gets back on it..has comparable size to Poz Ashlee Palmer (N/A) - undrafted rookie...not enough info on him to say either way...maybe PS at best Blake Costanzo (6-1 235) - Although not listed on Billsdaily, he has ok size , but not sure about his play at LB..made team for ST's play last year (I think)...might stay and keep that role ok out of those LB's where do you all see them and does anyone take Pizza-mans spot at depth behind Poz?

there's a couple things they fail to mention in this article..1 - how many times Buffalo faced 8 in the box due to no passing game threat...2 - this only talks about against the run, it doesn't mention at all how these players did against the pass...yes Peters was our best line-man against the run according to that chart..but the worst sacks (imo) were against Peters from what I remember in passing situations..and Peters wasn't traded because the FO thought he was a crappy player..he was traded because attitude towards the team and towards playing for this team was bad...3 - doesn't say if these are one on one battles or 2 DL on 1 OL battles if they're going to go by this chart to see how a line-men is, they need to do a separate chart for passing downs as well and then put them together to get an over-all grade...Then add in the attitude of the player, how many plays they took off..how many times they didn't finish the play...how many times they just stould there and watched other players working hard instead of running down field a bit to help blocking...did they play from whistle to whistle?..did they even play the there own full potential?
-
ok you need a few adjustments here for that to work..by the way...whats nm mean?
