  1. oh great...we get a comedian for a ROT...
  2. the way they went thru WR's this past season might warrant the Bills to keep 6 WR's next season..if this is the case than Paul Hubbard would most likely be the odd man out, leaving Rosey as the #6 WR...I think if they decide to place Rosey on the PS again he might get snatched up..jmo
  3. just a question..Merriman's been stating that the Buffalo doc's found something wrong with his ankle(or whatever part of his body he hurt)that the doc's in San Diego didn't find...could that be true?..if yes, then does he really have a chance of coming back at near full strength?...just wondering
  4. I don't know much about Dalton except when you look at his stats he seems to have gotten better every year...almost every stat improved each year of his play, which to me says that the guy has talent and brains...does it mean he has the talent and brains to be a franchise QB in the NFL?...not sure...I seem to recall Nix and Gailey saying that this is exactly what they they look for in a QB, along with the fact that Dalton played for 4 years and was not a 1 year wonder...so 4 year player - check, improvement in play each year - check, has won a bowl game - check...only real problem might be his size...he's listed at 6'2" to 6' 3" and around 215 - 220 lbs...anything else I forget?? this in no way refers that I think the Bills will or should take him
  5. seems to me that if after 2 years he hasn't at least learned a second move, then it's time to seriously think about letting him go...with all the needs on this team I could see them keeping him one more season, but after that they should have his replacement.
  6. considering 1 of them is from Pitt, you could be right.
  7. wondering if Wanny talks to Nix and Gailey about maybe going after any of his players from Pitt...anyone have any thoughts on these guys?: Jabaal Sheard, DE/OLB, Pittsburgh - round 2 or 3 ?? Jason Pinkston, OT, Pittsburgh - round 2-4 ?? Greg Romeus, DE, Pittsburgh - round 3-5 ?? Jonathan Baldwin*, WR, Pittsburgh round 1-3 ?? I've heard some on Greg Romeus on this site, but nothing of any of the others
  8. that would be: 1961 Ken Rice G Auburn Buffalo Bills (AFL) here's a link to a site that shows all the #1 picks taken edit: I searched thru the drafts and couldn't find a OG taken #1 at all after the merge to create the NFL...this is the closest I could find: 1985 draft round 1 pick #2 - Bill Fralic G, Pittsburgh, Atlanta Falcons
  9. LOL...he's taking Nanker's Que and running with it...HELLLOOO
  10. LOL..I have no idea why ppl keep feeding crayonz...he obviously sits and jerks off to these threads...he's been doing this for years.
  11. I was only referring to the way Buffalo either ignores or just doesn't care for the TE position during drafts...at least that's the way it has seemed since the 90's...I liked Jay, but Buffalo really hasn't had a good TE since him...they drafted Nelson, but he really hasn't shown to be a top threat...not 100% his fault I know...I was really hoping to draft one of the 2 TE's Pats* got last year, but again TE was overlooked...guess I've just been very disappointed with the Bills TE's since the 90's is all and would like to see a top college TE be drafted some year...and yes I understand they've had bigger needs, but a few of the drafts they've had TE was a big need and it wasn't addressed very well...jmo I actually like the way Buffalo has used D. Nelson in a TE capacity...I didn't see last weeks game so I have no idea how well Stupar did.
  12. I don't like waiting till the 4th for a TE...not saying you can't find a good TE there, but for some reason Buffalo always either totally ignores the position or waits to long to get one.
  13. maybe we should draft a QB every year..just in case they become D. Andersons also..
  14. I hope your joking because that would be terrible...I like the WR core we have right now...add a receiving TE and Fitz will have a lot to throw to next year.
  15. would Casey Mathews fit in good next to Poz next year?...have a LB line of Moats, Poz, Mathews, Houston
  16. looks like Buffalo was trying to steal TE Martin Rucker from the Cowboys..but they denied the Bills the chance...to bad..he was one that i was hoping the Bills drafted
  17. I assume you're referring to the flea-flicker....whats up with all the esply?...the word is especially
  18. I realize that Luck is the "given" #1 for the Bills if he declares this year...does anybody have any idea who the Bills should take if Luck doesn't declare?...I don't see any other QB in the next draft being a #1 talent...first round maybe, but not the #1 pick...well I guess my last statement would depend on how many other underclassmen QB's declare for the 2011 draft...but anyways, as far as I have seen by reading a few draft sites, the top rated players are mostly DE's...does anyone see Buffalo taking a DE like say, Marcell Dareus* (DE/DT, Alabama), Adrian Clayborn (DE/DT Iowa) or Allen Bailey (DE/DT, Miami)?...few draft sites I frequent have these guys rated as top 10 picks. I'm thinking (yes that's dangerous) that one of these 3 DE's with Williams and Carrington next year might be a really nice front 3...either take Ponder in the 2nd or wait till 2012's draft for one of the top 4 QB's that year (Luck, Mallet, Gabbert and Foles)...of course those four depend on who does and doesn't declare this year.
  19. seems maybe Buffalo might want to wait till 2012 draft to get a QB...looks like the top QB's are the guys that might leave college a year early...if none of them leave early that leaves these guys for 2012 draft: Andrew Luck, Stanford Cam Newton, Auburn Ryan Mallet, Arkansas Blaine Gabbert, Missouri and only Locker and Ponder for 2011 draft
  20. ok..found this: Cameron Newton, Auburn Height: 6-6. Weight: 246. Projected 40 Time: 4.77. Projected Round (2012): 4-5. 7/25/10: Cameron Newton has great size and athleticism to be a very effective collegiate quarterback, but like Dan LeFevour, will be downgraded for playing in a gimmick offense. walterfootball.com guess he's a JR. , but I'm pretty sure I saw him on either Mayock's or kiper's top 5 qb's for 2011 draft...but then again one of them had this guy on their list as well: Blaine Gabbert, Missouri Height: 6-5. Weight: 240. Projected 40 Time: 4.71. Projected Round (2012): 2-3. 7/25/10: Blaine Gabbert threw for 3,593 yards, 24 touchdowns and nine interceptions as a sophomore. He has great size and a nice arm, but mediocre accuracy (58.9% completions) and questionable workout regimen (to put it nicely). The lack of pro-style offense experience will also hurt him, but the upside is there to warrant a Day 2 pick. btw..I never listen to what Kiper has to say...never liked the guy
  21. anyone know much about the QB from Auburn?..guy at work asked me if I thought the Bills might take him..say's the guy is big and runs through LB's like they aren't there..says he reminds him of Jim Kelly...any thoughts?...I assume he'd be a later round QB pick though...honestly I'm not even sure if he's coming out this draft.
  22. is that you miracle Max??...
  23. I honestly don't think the Bills could even sack TE...Their pass rush is horrible...If they did manage to get a sack, I bet it'll be from Kyle Williams
