  1. hmm..I think I would just let the day be about what it is..the HOF...and keep personal politics in Buffalo and at/during Bills games...but thats just me I guess
  2. I don't think they keep 2 FB's...might not even keep 1....Dixon is a RB/FB, so if they feel he can man the FB job they just go with the 4 RB's...They might keep both K's tho again..see if the job Carpenter did last isn't a fluke while keeping the young guy on board...they might keep 5 S's (Searcy, D. Williams, A. Williams, Meeks, Ladler and Brim)...but at this point it's all speculation
  3. did you guys watch video?..Reed still looks pretty fit and strong...might still be able to play some ball...like others have said tho, Reed in a slant across the middle receiver and Sherman is a one side only pony show....Sherman most likely wouldn't cover Reed that much thru-out the game...If Sherman says something about this it would be shameful, what would he expect Reed to say to a kid asking one of his heroes if he would fail against one of today's top CB's??
  4. hmm...this is the closest for OLB in next years draft: Maurice Falls East Carolina OLB 2015 6-2 247 4.67 all ive found for the meaning is "ready for battle" and "Noble and Ready".......nice...Kiko "ready for Battle"
  5. actually I think the worse thing we did in that game was to take out there QB..as soon as the second QB came in the Browns started to roll on us
  6. my pick would be Kyle Williams...he's highly respected as one of the best at his position every year and this year is the first time in like 2 - 3 seasons he's coming in fresh with no lingering/nagging injuries...he gets a full pre-season and a healthy start to the season
  7. yea saw this and the first thing that came to mind was the thread talking about Urbik being cut and that many (including myself) said we couldnt see it due to Urbik being the only back up at center on team...not saying this is a reason to now see Urbik being cut, but it could now become a possibility if this center is good enough to back up Wood...
  8. I believe Manny Lawson played quite a bit at DE last season...but I think I only read that somewhere on this site...can't remember...agree with Bradham do you mean Dennis Dixon the QB?..or the RB Anthony Dixon because I read somewhere, I think on Bills site, that Dixon played both FB and RB and could Could be used as both...also He is a good ST player and that is where Marrone is trying to fill more spots on this season for his friend...so I could see all FB's getting cut and Buffalo keeping 4 RB's...unless Summers plays ST better that is.
  9. I believe Urbik is the only Back up Center listed on the rosters that I have seen...if Buffalo has any other players that can back up Center they aren't telling anybody else about it from what I can tell....I wouldn't mind it if they start 2 rookies on the right side this year...Buffalo wouldn't be the first or last team to do that....now if we could just get a long snapper that can play another position as well..lol
  10. I never trust the "he failed the Physical" line ...I think most teams use that line for the media so they don't have to go into an actual explanation....on the Murphy show Kouandjio said he played almost 3 years after the surgery with no problems...I think he said he didn't miss one game in that time
  11. could only find 4 guys that played for Bills that went to Wake Forest...I'd go with Gary Baldinger DE/NT Gary Thomas Baldinger DE/NT 1990 - 1992 Clayton Heath RB 1976 (played for both Bills and Miami in 1976) Eric King DB 2005 (played 1 year) Wayne William Wolff OG 1961 (played 2 games)
  12. syracuse - Al Bemiller C/G/T 1961 draft ...started for Bills from 1961 - 1969 mostly at C
  13. Coe College - Fred Jackson Pittsburgh State - Brian Morman
  14. well at least its still green for Sanchez in Philly
  15. lol..even tho they all sucked a$$..yes every time I see a tat it makes want to get a new one..I have 3 now...looking to get a couple more...I'd never get a portrait tho..plus I was talking to ppl at work just last night about tats so the thought was still fresh in my mind when I saw this thread
  16. wow...why so much hate on this??..makes no sense...dude got a tat of who he likes 2 tats that prove that you really need to do your homework on the tat artist before you get one done...those are horrible  don't like who it is, but it's the only one on this thread that looks almost dead on for who it is...this was a good tat artist...thats some deep red on that standing buffalo also now I wanna get me a new tat..thinking of doing a cover-up on my forearm or getting a totally new one somewhere else..
  17. I think his quote was more on the fact that moving to Batavia would break the Erie County lease thus anywheres outside Erie County would be the same monetary hit to the new owner...if the new owner is gonna take the hit might as well go somewhere with bigger market..
  18. DOH!!!...yea I should have thought of that..there's like no way they have 4000 jerseys of each player for the team they were drafted to...lol..my bad
  19. same here....how are Rookie Jerseys being sold already if numbers have not been given yet??...I'm pretty sure NFLN was talking about Manziell sales the next morning or even earlier
  20. true..anywhere outside of Erie County probably wont happen...I don't live there so I have no idea what that county encompasses
  21. not that I want them in Batavia, but i could see a benefit to it...one of the biggest things about the Bills games is the tailgating...stadium in such a big un-used area would give them land to do things like camping area for RV's, tents and such for ppl that want to make a whole weekend event from it...park area's and pavilions...might sound lame but wherever they put the new stadium I hope they think about the tailgating and try to make that part of the game better... @ KAsper13...the toll paying and time is what most Bills fan from outside Buffalo (in the US at least) have to do to go to a game now, so no empathy from us out-of-towners...I wont add Canada in that cuz I don't know what they have to do to get to a game..well besides go thru a border crossing(YUK!) ...anyways, I'd rather they stay in or near Buffalo, add to the tailgating experience and maybe get closer to the thruway....I do feel bad for all the ppl that live near the stadium now and will lose all the tradition they have for game days...I know I see those ppl in a hot tub across the street from the stadium most times I go to game ( depends on wich side of stadium I drive in on)....ah and the loss of $ ppl get from yard parking
  22. the Punter from Harvard might have a chance.....I think Graham moves to Safety.....I think Johnson makes it to LB..they drafted him for special teams
  23. thats why I don't think it's the Browns they're dealing with..to many things on the table for just moving up 5 spots
