  1. Terrell Davis was saying something on this subject yesterday on NFLN...he was talking mostly on a RB perspective tho...said it takes longer these days for RB's to get into a grove and learn the plays...said he needed the contact in camp to get used to the physicality of the game...but he did state that he would have loved to have these "softer" camps because they are easier (and who wouldnt want to make things easier on oneself..lol)...
  2. ...ended up just parking across street from SJF for $15...then realized my brother lives 1.3 miles from SJF so we could have walked from his house..lol...oh well
  3. ..found out the hard way..lol..thx

  5. last winning season: Rex Ryan - 2010 w/ Jets 11-5...lost to Steelers in Conference Championship Jeff Fisher - 2008 w/ Titans 13-3...lost to Ravens in wild card game
  6. I'd switch Gay for Dri Archer and keep 5 RB's (we lost 2 last year to injuries)....new kickoffs rule might allow Carp to go back to manning both duties...keeping Archer only if he can bring something on kick/punt returns
  7. Sal Capaccio ‏@SalSports 27m27 minutes ago Bruce Smith sacks vs opponents: Jets - 31 Colts - 25 Patriots - 21 Dolphins - 15 Oilers/Titans - 12 Eagles - 10 Browns - 10 0 retweets 0 likes
  8. not sure...1990 I would have been in high school and honestly I didn't really start paying real attention to football till like 1991-92..I mean I watched games but didn't really "follow" football till after I went to my first game sometime around 91-92 season...something about seeing it live just cliked in me
  9. I was sitting 6 rows up on the 50 on the Jets side during that game where he knocked Boomer out...it was right in front of me..remember everyone harassing Boomer as he sat on the bench (cant remember how log he sat there tho or if they took him inside after a bit)...most likely with a concussion but they didn't do anything for those back then...great times
  10. one tweet stated they're doing #34 next season....maybe #83 in the worx for 2019 season? gratz #78 :worthy: heres that tweet: Buffalo News Sports ‏@TBNSports 16m16 minutes ago Buffalo News Sports Retweeted Buffalo News Sports The #Bills previously retired Jim Kelly's No. 12 and are expected to retire Thurman Thomas' No. 34 next season.
  11. I count 75 on roster then add 14 udfar = 89 maybe Licata makes it 90 after his tryout
  12. I dont know what "they" say, but Im gonna say its cuz of Striker + Ragland + Lawson
  13. well like I said in the shout box earlier...let Jon Williams wear his #32
  14. Rex Ryan himself compared him to Bart Scott in the press conference he and Whaley had
  15. - watching the Listenbee vid and I think the Rams got a good RB with Aaron Green (UDRFA from TCU)..that kid was fast and elusive. - I think the CB was off Listenbee by 10 yards on almost every play...not sure if this is just the defense they run or respecting the speed of Listenbee...would have liked to see a bit more fight for some of the balls thrown to him and he needs to be a bit more aggressive with the CB on plays he knows aren't coming his way...
  16. then you wont want to watch the Jones video at all..lol...that was not a good game to show the Bills fans
  17. dont forget whenever a team trades away a pick for up coming year that pick isnt valued the same as current year..so the 4th the Bills traded from 2017 isnt valued as an actual 4th right now...I hope that made sense lol
  18. its actually 4th(comp), 5th, 6th and 6th(comp)
  19. he said that video was 5 years ago...after watching it, he didn't look that much younger then he is now if any younger...wonder how truthful he was
  20. not sure who tweeted this, but it was tweeted that everyone that went to combine passed the drug test...so he either cleaned up and learned from mistakes or was smart enough to not use drugs b4 a test...which shows more smarts then some in the past for sure

  22. one of those was MD99 and another is a newer member to BB's in Gregg Little .....Blake also coached Hughes per: Two Bills Drive ‏@twobillsdrive 2h2 hours ago John Blake's rocky path to Buffalo's D-Line includes scandal, Marcell Dareus, Jerry Hughes: 'Blake, 55,... http://bit.ly/1QTMSqg #Bills "Current Bills defensive tackle Marcell Dareus told NCAA investigators in 2010 that Blake recommended agent Gary Wichard (since deceased) to him in a phone conversation that summer. Blake and Wichard were close friends." "As noted by The MMQB, Blake has trained Bills outside linebacker Jerry Hughes, in addition to Jason Pierre-Paul, Dwight Freeney and Robert Quinn. He helped Pierre-Paul after the Giants end's hand was blasted in a fireworks accident." "One more Bills connection? Wide receiver Greg Little, signed after the season, was part of the improper benefits scandal at North Carolina. He attended a party at South Beach that triggered the NCAA investigation into the university and led to suspensions and, eventually, Blake's resignation. The party, as Little explained in this interview, will "haunt" him."
