The only truly significant losses were two offensive lineman. Not quite sure why they regressed so much. You'd think with a better QB and a year in McDermott's defensive system, they'd improve enough in other areas to make up for those losses and even build on that modicum of success.
Im going to say Castillo and Dennison were the other major problems...they came in and totally changed the scheme...if you look back to Millers first year, he actually looked somewhat decent, now everyone wants him gone...Dennison is gone but Castillo is still here

I know it is old and tired, but it is almost surreal.
I watched 3 minutes of the KC/Seattle game and watch A great TD reception by KC & then Lockett and Baldwin make 2 catches on the clinching drive that no Bills made all season.
All I ask is for the proverbial 50/50 ball to be caught, a leaping reception, a catch on what is not a perfect pass, an adjustment made and making that hard cut to the ball.
I am just beside myself.
I did see 1 on Sunday but it was Poyer catching an interception...he reached out for it..was a nice catch

Beane would be a fool not to be aggressive with the $$$ available.
Its make or break for him and McDermott next season.
As a GM, building through the draft won't do ***** for you if your team sucks and your gone after three years.
when you say aggressive you're talking about overpaying right? I feel they'll need to overpay for guys like Paradise and Anthony Barr...but I'm ok with it because they really need to upgrade the o-line

I do think Clay will be released, but I wouldn’t say it’s a no-brainer to release McCoy to save cap space.
The Bills already have like $90 million in cap space for next season.
I highly doubt that Beane is going to go blow all of that hard earned cap space in a single offseason.
I think he will spend a decent portion, but I don’t see the Bills as a cap team next year by any means. Beane has preached buindling through the draft and being smart in free agency.
So I don’t see it as a priority to cut Shady for cap space.
And Seeing as he wasnt traded at the deadline when we when there were said to be offers, I think they will most likely give him a chance to rebound (behind a hopefully improved o line).
you could be right on everything except every team has to spend 89% or more every year and in a 5 year span needs to be an avg of something like 92% spent

if you get the right guys in FA then you can just go BPA in the draft...if that scenario actually happens then I wouldn't be surprised to see our 1st pick be a DT/DE then maybe WR/TE in the 2nd

they could trade for Carr

Please Bills hire him. Please. Please.
for what??
the sad thing is McKenzie actually put some talent on that team and then Chucky came and is trying to destroy it all...Chucky is going to be the next Kelly

yea...I'm reading that and trying to figure out if he's saying that McKenzie was fired or if McKenzie is telling his scouts " hey Ian says I'm fired so I guess that's it." ..lol
I'm gonna assume it says he's been fired...most likely Chucky wanted all the power

So if we carry over half and have a ton in 2020.... when do you think he finally spends? Just saving it all for allen preemptively?
40 minutes ago, OldTimeAFLGuy said:not sure they carry over half...each team is required to spend up to a certain % of the cap...so they have to spend a certain amount, not sure what it is tho...but I can see Beane spending to that amount and saving for 2020...wonder if the FA pool for 2020 is better

Right. And it's understandable if no one cooperated with them. But the fact that they never questioned Hunt about the incident is inexcusable. That is why the NFL is taking heat.
ok I didn't realize they hadn't talked to Hunt...I had heard someone say on tv that Hunt had lied to the NFL so I must have assumed they did

Do you think that the NFL would need to operate like the FBI to simply ask Hunt about the incident?
my point wasn't directed at Hunt or if the NFL had the right to question Hunt...my point was at ppl acting as if the NFL showed up at my door I had to answer to them...players are under contract with the NFL, I am not...and neither are the women he beat or the friends/family of the victim or the hotel that owns the video

I don't know what is it about the Packers but it seems every year it feels like they get absolutely no help for Rogers or the team...do they even draft?

No. Gugny employs logic. It was either a pass that should have been caught, or should not have. It's as black and white as ebony and ivory.
I voted for Clay....he had enough time and room (no-one was around him) to adjust to the ball...I was gonna go 95/5 ?

guess gugny has decided everything is either black or white....its 1 persons fault only...oh well

should have had a 3rd option for a "little of both"

I'm not on Hunt's side, but some ppl seem to think that NFL and FBI are the same initials...it has already been said that the hotel refused to show the NFL the tape because they weren't law enforcement...has already been said they tried to talk to the women and any friends, they all refused to talk...they can't interview ppl that won't talk to them.

Im thinking the guy probably wont get another job...he's been w/ Marrone for years and I cant imagine has made any connections to any other HC's in NFL or college...but good luck to him anyways

like Buffalo716 said, re-watch the 40 yard run...Allen was stiff as a board and kept his hands and arms in tight to his body...he either did that on purpose or whoever taught him to run a 40 was not qualified to do so

here's a bit on Sirles who went in and played RT -
wonder if maybe we see a line of: Sirles - Ducasse - Bohdine- Teller - Dawkins (Im looking at the line as the defense)...at some point..not saying to start this game

funny how everyone keeps referring to Edwards for check-downs...I would have thought our check-down king was Kelly Holcomb...maybe I'm not remembering the Edward years correctly
