Here are Crossman's Special Teams Units rankings per Football Outsiders (the only place I could find ST rankings going back to 2005 quickly):

    BILLS

    2018     32nd

    2017     10th

    2016     22nd

    2015     12th

    2014      4th

    2013     30th

    LIONS

    2012     30th

    2011     29th

    2010     11th

    PANTHERS

    2009     29th

    2008     10th

    2007     30th

    2006     24th

    2005      5th

Top 10 appearances: 4 in14 years (29% of the time)

Bottom 4 in the league (29th-32nd): 6 times in 14 years (43% of the time). Think about that for a moment. For 43% of his career as Special Teams coach, his units have been one of the four worst in the NFL.

8 of his 14 seasons, his unit was ranked in the bottom 3rd of the league (57% of the time).

It was high time for a change.

What the hell is the white elephant game?!?

Ive seen a lot of families play this game...the ones I know of have huge family gatherings at Christmas and it would cost them huge $$ to get everyone a gift...so the gifts are limited to $20 and under (these guys played with some expensive gifts)...sometimes only the adults play it, that way you buy gifts like wine, whiskey and such...or you could do a kids version and an adults version...I've never been in one b4 tho :(

I go with Oliver simply because of what's available in FA and the rest of the draft.

Also, when looking at Williams, I am reading that his best position is LT which could be upgraded, but is by no means the biggest need. That being said, it's hard to spend a big pick on a guy and play him out of position.

As others have said, Our offensive line looks 75% better by signing Daryl Williams (this years Star Lotulelei in that it seems almost a guarantee that he ends up here) and Mitch Morse or Matt Paradis.

We can find a guard in FA or the draft and be in good shape which opens the door to adding Oliver. Interior rusher is a huge need now that Kyle is out.

we could sign FA RT Daryl Williams and then draft OG Darryl Williams, Mississippi State also...win win :)

    no tackle?

Easier said than done. Teams don't let their stud Olinemen walk. Most of the successful teams have built their line through the draft, and that means they are going to have to spend 1s and 2s not 5s on linemen. I'm not sold on Teller or Dawkins and they still need depth.

I didn't add one cuz he added one in FA...but now I look again he brought in an OG too..so..oh well...lol

Anthony Johnson is a borderline 1st round pick.  I want him on the Bills, but 6th is ridiculous

I agree with the 6th being ridiculous, but I think he's lost his 1st rd appeal...I saw a lot of mocks and prospect ratings b4 the 2018 college season had him as the top 1-3 wr's, but now he's moved down a bit...some have him around #20 wr...i just threw his name on there real quick cuz I would like to see Bills actually go for a good player from UB this time

I think that if you do not believe there will be a defensive back, or two, in there somewhere you have not been paying attention.

I think we need a top FA OLine and an OLine in the top 50 of the draft (the Bills should have two choices in the top 50).

I also think I agree with other posters who indicate that Sean will have his way and an edge rusher will be the first pick.

yea this was just a quick mock with no real investigation :)

6'4", 220, under 4.5 speed, runs nice routes, better then average hands, huge catch radius.  Guess that's my infatuation.

Now, what's your issue as him as a Buffalo Bill?

I see where your going.  Thinking Oliver is selected before our pick at 10, prefer Hakeem Butler WR of Iowa State with 2nd round pick.  Brown is faster version of McKenzie and equally brittle, I like Deiter and I need to do research on Grandersin.  Prefer Hockenson over Mack at TE.

Nice job and appreciate your feedback

I wanted to go OG Daryll Williams, but that might be confusing having 2 guys with same name on starting o-line..lol

  8. ok, going by your off-season my draft would be :

    1 - DT ED Oliver

    2 - WR Deebo Samuel / WR Marquise " Hollywood " Brown

    3 - OG Micheal Deiter

    4 - DE Carl Granderson

    4 - TE Alize Mack

    5 - RB Mike Weber

    6 - WR Anthony Johnson
