  1. yeah i was there as well. it was a non event. no one really even knew they only had 10 on the field. great comeback by Edwards in that game. Fred played really well as well. Gibbs totally blew it at the end. I had my Bills blanket on my back all day.. everyone was cool. it was a good game, Bills played well.
  2. I've said it 30 times.. McBeanes know what they are doing. Foster, Mckenzie, Teller, Milano, wait-till-Harrison-Phillips-gets on the field, Taron Johnson, ditching Dareus, sticking-with NateP-cuz-he-sets-example, ditching Darby-due-to-character, etc etc etc., getting Allen-cuz-he-fits-the culture.., etc etc. Trust the Process. These guys just might win out this year. Probably not bc sh-t happens in NFL games, but just maybe>>>>
  3. way too early to tell. Edmunds is like 19. He'll get stronger in the offseason and smarter next year. Zay with Ben would be pretty good. Ben 2 = Josh. Its all a process. Trust it. the media makes everyone on the cowboys a big star so as to improve ratings. the media desperately needs the cowboys to be relevant for TV ratings, so anyone who even looks the part is made out to be superman
  4. thanks. good to hear. and yeah, ooops he is from Cali, but as ZAY says, no comparing central valley to So or No Cal. Go to Sacramento sometime. Buffalo people largely. Regular folks. Fresno too. Central Cal is working folks. You'd like 'em
  5. McBeanes picked the right guy. Cali boys Rosen or Darnold would have been lousy personality/background fits in whitetail shootin' , Crown Royal drinkin' WNY. Question: haven't been to a game in years... are what I once called the "Crown Royal boys" still tailgating on the railing next to the walking path right next to the stadium.. they would line up the empty Crown Royal bottles under the guard rail that seperated the lot from the ring path around the stadium... ? I remember one extremely cold 'phins game in '04 or '05 where they were roasting a huge fish with a tripod, indian style over an open fire ON TOP OF an old red van. an everlasting memory Trust the Process.
  6. Of course, of course, that is what FA and the draft is for, but, to grab those two guys mid season , plus grab Deonte as soon as he freed up and Barkley as soon as he freed up shows these guys know what they need and are paying attention . And the way they are finding, drafting and managing up draftees like Teller and Harrison Philips just gives a fan so much confidence that a moment is coming where they just suddenly will be rolling out a young roster that is super competitive every week regardless of the situation or the opponent. The process is working.
  7. He's got a chance to be really good. On his runs, Jags were dropping deep and waiting for a mistake. He ran on them instead. Great to have a cannon for an arm.
  8. He will. McBeanes know what they are doing. Foster? , McKenzie ? , who knew who these guys were... ? Beane knew. Trust the Process.
  9. Exactly. We have the front office, scouting and coaching in place, now the cap is clear and McBeanes are smart enough to use the draft to build young, cheap talented starters, adding vet talent in FA. I totally get where this franchise is going. How they found and then worked in guys like Johnson, Teller, MIlano, is nothing short of solid roster building at extremely low cost. Trust it. They know what they are doing and are sticking to the plan. I see a 4-2 finish or better this year.
  10. TE clearly a place where all that cap space will be spent, among others. Looking forward to the FA period. Gonna be some talent coming in. Get your popcorn and..... Trust the Process.
  11. Looks like you've already tossed in the towel: "He won’t be ready to lead this team to a super bowl until his rookie contract is up". Do you give up this quickly in most things? Goff looked like sh-t his first year. Mahomes couldn't even get on the field. Trubisky looked like complete, absolute sh-t his first year. Bills fans are just so beat up.... It's understandable I guess, given the sh-t show Ralph put together this millennium. Trust the Process.
  12. I live in the DC area and watched the whole thing. Cousins played it beautifully. Hats off to him and his agent. He is not a great player, just a very good one, and he got what the market would bear. Not his fault the team around him is so so this year. This year ain't over yet.
  13. when you live in a glass house, best not to throw stones
  14. totally. either gear up to pass or gear up to stop the pass. either one is good for me.
  15. lets say we just look at this again in 7 weeks....
  16. just roster building, this is what mcbeanes do. 24 x 7 . trust the process
  17. Just keep playing hard week to week. That is the NFL. Every week is a new week with an opportunity to win a football game. In today's NFL, unless one of the teams has one of the 6 or 7 unicorn franchise QB guys, every game is winnable by either side on any given Sunday. So go and get it . The offseason is going to be great, so lets go into it with a bang. Not sure we are playing any unicorns for the rest of the season, other than Brady, who looks like father time is coming to get him anyway..
  18. 4-2. but maybe run the table
  19. Well.. as we all know, this season is just the preseason for next season. This season is a big long tryout camp for roster build and a training camp for Allen, Edmunds, Teller, et al. The offseason will truly define this team for the next 3-4 years.
  20. I'd probably release Nate. Wrong place, wrong time for him.
  21. I agree. The players are playing for contracts anyway, so the whole "lets win a bunch of games to show that we can" is sort of a yawner for the players as well.
