  1. Every season kind of stands on its own. This past season, completely healthy playing against largely bad quarterbacks , this was an 11 win team (would have beaten Jets in last game if they needed it). Assuming the injury count returns to at least the league average , plus out of division playing Wilson, Mahomes, Jimmy G, Carr , Goff, instead of a duck, whoever the hell that was QB ing the Redskins, mariota, et al. I would think 10 wins would be a progress. It'll all come down to those 2 games against the Pats.
  2. Give him Megatron and yeah, Josh's stats will improve dramatically. Nuff said.
  3. as a coach? that is the context for the question, right? ?
  4. reddit you old fools. go ask the nearest millenial.
  5. Lets hope we can sign our own guys and draft well again. That is the mode for this team. As always , all else being equal, most FAs ain't comin' to the B Lo.
  6. Agreed. Not going to get you to the SB, but exciting player and seemed like a good guy as well.
  7. i take back what I said earlier, I am enjoying this latest BB thread; so much built up dislike for them; we all share it, don't we ☠️. need to get it out on a regular basis
  8. yeah I hope Brees just retires, rather than come back and just decline. but remember, these guys had/have been doing this for 30+ years. It is what they are to some degree...
  9. yep. he was clearly playing not for the Bills last year, but 100% in anticipation of FA.
  10. exactly. why is his name mentioned on this board? enough Pats f ing talk, already
  11. Granted I was down with a brutal head cold yesterday, plopping me squarely in front of the tube all day, but I thought the DC game was very watchable. Anyone else have a viewpoint? wow, post crushed.
  12. yeah my understanding is he is a weirdo. doesn't like away games, or something like that.... diva potential. would never work in the b lo
  13. sure let him have the scout team reps at RB and save your RB depth guys for the real games. I like it. Beane able to expand his roster size. smart.
  14. nice point. If you sign Olsen, might as well go get Green as well, to go with the 9 drafted guys and all the youngsters in the locker room. With Zo and Gore probably both gone, need some guidance and maturity in the room.
  15. Andy Reids offense.
  16. well, so much for my logical, thoughful assumption he would go to to big media market. git er done. then Josh can throw the high hard one and Olsen will still catch it.
  17. Bills had a really good team in 1982, i believe they were 5-1 when the strike happened. That could have been a very good year. Everything went to crap after that
  18. I see him with the Giants or Jets . East coast team. Both need the position. He can work in NYC with the best production and TV coaching guys. No brainer really for him.
  19. yeah, the most he will do as far as playing is go to the jets, giants , rams or chargers to get more reps in the studio and get to those areas in general. the last place you want to continue building a media career after playing is buffalo, for crying out loud. that would be just career stupid.
  20. they lost in the first round. media guys probably won't reward that. I like the idea of him winning to help us in FA.
  21. Gore has a child about to go into college? yikes.
  22. should go back to 1 week break before the SB and play it on Monday night
  23. ' cost synergies, primarily from the reduction of administrative expenses". that means a bunch of people in WNY get fired
  24. yeah, history says Beane and McDermott just dont' roll that way, chasing 1 or 2 shiny objects. They will draft extremely well and pay their own guys. FAs will come, but they will be the 2nd tier guys unless they need to replace their own guys. thats the way it has to be in WNY. Guys like it once they get there, most just don't want to go there. outside opportunities in media and ads don't exist, etc. area has a crappy rep., etc. So you end up having to draft extremely efficiently and well, build a great locker room and training environment, then sign your own guys who by the end of their rookie deal want to be there. just my view.
