Is Tua hype the new Darnold hype?
ProcessTruster replied to whatdrought's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
People on this board need to watch more college football. Tua was a monster at the highest college level. He is the real deal, as I've said many times. He and Josh will be dukin' it out for many years to come. It will be fun, bc both are great players to watch play. -
Win % vs. Playoff Teams - This Year
ProcessTruster replied to Captain Caveman's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
we caught both of the them very shorthanded in the middle of big injury hits; that stuff usually evens out over a full season.... we shall see -
Is the weather really an issue for our passing attack?

Steelers haven't had much trouble scoring over the years and they play on grass/mud in crap weather, so.... -

Yeah, Dome never happening. Disaster financially , for the state, ownership and fans. Frankly, a new stadium of any kind is a disaster financially for all invoived. You ready to pay a $10,000 PSA fee to retain your opportunity to pay $200 / game for your upper deck season tickets? Did not think so. -
Win % vs. Playoff Teams - This Year
ProcessTruster replied to Captain Caveman's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yep. And if we have a pile of guys go down with Covid or other injuries, the degree of difficulty of our remaining schedule just went up.... potentially by a lot.. We'll see how we do against a much better Az. defense this week. -
Win % vs. Playoff Teams - This Year
ProcessTruster replied to Captain Caveman's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Seattle's defense is very bad, and was also very banged up in the back end , so Bills took advantage of that. Josh and the offense still needed to do it, and they did. All of this really boosts the the thought that every week is a new week, teams go from healthy to banged up and back, and that game predictions are fairly useless because past roster performance is a lousy predictor of future roster performance as the roster actually on the field can change drastically from month to month. -
Gameday Thread PreGame Week 9 Bills vs. Seahawks
ProcessTruster replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah, Josh will need to be superman today. Like 29 of 39 for 350+. Highly accurate against a 2 deep zone. Good luck with that. We shall see. We will learn a lot about Josh today. -

4th highest pressure rate in NFL
ProcessTruster replied to BillsMafi$'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
really don't see this team having its crap together until after the bye and guys (Brown, Milano, Edmunds, Morse, etc etc etc) can get healthy. I can see 6-4 (7-3 best case) heading into the bye (everyone losing their sh-t ) and then 5-1 to finish 11-5. -
Tua Tagovailoa - Future of Miami?
ProcessTruster replied to BillsM@fia's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He was amazing at Alabama playing against the best competition at that level. We'll have to see if it translates. Josh looked like dirt his first half dozen games too , and he had a full camp. We shall see. -
Milano out for Seahawks game
ProcessTruster replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
he obviously must have (or now has) a tear, so he's on Mongo time.. he likely needs to sit until after the bye.... boy, Josh is going to need to be freakin Superman the next couple games. -
yeah, looks like a no name RB crew for them this week. all the more reason to zone 'em and put a spy on Wilson. They'll zone us as well, but I think we can run on them, even with 3/5 of our O line out. Wilson is so darn good, I really not feeling good about this game at all.
-
both teams are goin zone this week, so could be a lot of run game

Week 9 - Predict the score (Seattle @ Buffalo)
ProcessTruster replied to RiotAct's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
somethin like that, yeah.. Bills are too beat up to win this one. Too many key starters out or effectively out. The injury bug is making up for last year. When's that bye week again?????? -
doesn't look good this week with Morse, Brown probably out. Not gonna outscore them if its a track meet. All I can think of is run the ball, throw short against their zone D , keep their offense off the field and win a close one with a lower score. Smoke is a huge part of this offense, He needs to get healthy. The Bye week can't come soon enough for this team.
-
ah.. yeah you'd think 300lbs would be enough (eg. Harry) , but I guess not. Never never been doubled by two 300+lb ers , so I wouldn't know. Oliver way too light for that, reminds of Jeff Wright at like 250 playing nose tackle in the SB years. NFC teams just ran him over. We are loaded with 280-300lb 3 techs , but no 1 techs. Beane did not have a plan for Star sitting out, frankly not sure one was available then. Poe is available, but he is 40lbs overweight and McD ain't goin for that. Rotational D Line is what we got for this season. Go light it up on offense and make teams throw it. That's my prescription.
-
hmm.. yeah must be a numbers game.. more bodies for the same $$. I'm sure it all made sense, assuming Star comes back and eats up two guys every down, which he didn't -- Beane didn't see that one coming... all the bulk from last year gone. Trying to do it with rotation this year instead... Tough to do.
-
yeah, Shaq was a great edge setter, got big and strong; they just did not want to pay him... probably should have, but then TreWhite prob gets away... TreWhite is prob more valuable than a run first 3-4 edge setter. Cap will be low next year, probably good they didn't break the bank for Phillips and Shaq ? Teams with a lot of big contracts will be restructuring and therefore dead-cap-=exposure crushed to make the Cap limit next year. Seems Beane will be able to largely avoid that yep, I'll be a lot happier when Edmunds and Milano are healthy and out there together (probably after the bye for Milano would be my guess, given how long it took Mongo to get back) .. Klein is not very effective. Put 44 out there. Can't be any worse than 54.

he is david carr; ie; we'll never know what he could have been, given how bad the rest of their offensive roster is.. he is probably toast, ruined by those around him at a minimum
