Fins will be very good for many years to come. they are playing it smart. No chasing shiny FA objects. if they draft well (and they have a good draft history) they will be right there for years. AFC will be very very competitive ... Jets have a real coach now, will have a good QB, and have many pieces already. Pats get all their Covid guys back, plus added a pile of FAs, so they will come flying back as well. Nothing will be easy in the AFCE. Last year is not a predictor of this year. Should be fun to watch. Go bills

It’s nice to not give a ***** this time of year
ProcessTruster replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I pay little attention to football in the offseason. so many other things to do. besides I've learned that every season stands on its own and maintaining a highly competitive roster year after year, solid coaching is what you want, then the season plays out how it plays out. Knowing the team will be highly competitive in every game no matter the opponent is what feels good to me. the wins just happen when you follow that process -
Free Agency next year is going to be crazy
ProcessTruster replied to Rubes's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think teams will sign their own. I don't believe teams will wait once they see the cap number. they will pre empt the process and grab the 1 year deal guys they like. -
starting to wonder if Beane actually will draft Etienne if he falls to 30

" would of led the Bills in sacks last year. " nuf said. good signing!

Clowney is reportedly a locker room cancer. Hard pass. This ain't Madden or Fantasy football, boys. Grow your own. As said above: "Like @Rc2catch said above, our best hope is that Epenesa and Oliver take the next step in their development. Fortunately, I believe Star's return should help Oliver a lot in that regard and AJ will have his first NFL offseason/training camp to develop and figure out his playing weight."

dunno, with the Hollister/Allen combo (Wyoming) and the Sanders/Beasley connection (SMU) can we call the Buffalo Bill (Cody)'s pass game "Mustangs and Cowboys"?! It's all coming together.. go bills

"Beane is not just looking at 2021 - he is planning 2022 and 2023 to ensure he can keep the team together, improve it, and most important bring home a championship without losing your core." --- Agree, he is not going chase shiny objects and put himself in cap hell... he's just not going to do it... for example , he would trade a # 1 for Diggs, but would never give Golladay the deal the Giants just game him, just won't do it.. and the fan base needs to support that decision... go bills

never know.. lotta guys taking 1 year low price deals just to get to 2022

guy still could probably pull out and block something at the other end of the bar..

Pretty sure McBeanes will stick to their 3 year old process of continually improvjng the roster, position group by position group and position by position. Great example is punter. Did they really need to dump Corey B? No. But they found a guy more consistent with inside the 20 kicks .. marginally better.. so they swapped out for him. This is what the process is. They resist single shiny overpriced objects in favor of multiple incremental improvements. Love it. Trust it.

Bills sign TE Jacob Hollister
ProcessTruster replied to FluffHead's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives

Goodwin - type. straight ahead fast, thats about it, from what I understand. deep safety takes him away. pass. -
most only get one and only one shot at it, more power to them.

What are the chances we resign Milano?
ProcessTruster replied to BuffaloBills1998's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Exactly. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to create what they call "generational wealth" that if managed properly will support his entire downstream family for 50-75 years. Gotta go for the big guaranteed amount. He blows another pec or hammy and its downhill from there... -
well there goes that backup QB option

AFC Title game inside of 3 years. Nuf said about McBeanes. Next question? -
Chris Simms Has Zach Wilson Ahead Of Trevor Lawrence?
ProcessTruster replied to H2o's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
yeah, Simms is a straight shooter; doesn't really seem to be one of those to say things to just stir up views and clicks. I've never seen Wilson play so there's that, so there will be a bias towards Lawrence bc of his exposure, but Josh had no exposure and he turned out better than all in his draft class.
