  1. See now there's the glass half full approach. Well said 29
  2. This is incredibly bad. Colts front 7 gonna have fun with this group on Sunday.
  3. MNF gonna be great Dec 6. Can't wait. The Mafia needs to show out that night. Games like that are what make the NFL.
  4. I'd rather beat them on MNF with the Division lead on the line. Now that would be cool. Pats had a great roster last year and would have competed for the division had not 12 key guys do the Covid op-out. So Bills fans need to realize that the Pats did not go anywhere post-Brady. Their roster has been solid and they have some of the best coaching and front office work in the league. I want to beat them straight up with a team that wants to be out there beating a team that seems to be in fear of the coaches/organization. No backing into the division hoping that a crap Falcons team helps us out. That is a lame approach. Our team can compete with anyone when healthy, which they now are. Go Bills.
  5. Putting aside the QB issue, which I'm not sure they've solved (maybe they have), the Jets have a solid roster, they just have so many guys out injured they look like crap on the field. If the Bills had that many key guys out (eg, QB, #1 WR, LT, starting secondary, etc) we'd look like crap on the field too.
  6. With Mims, Becton, Mayes, Wilson etc etc all out, the Jets put a pretty thin roster out there Sunday. I was in row 15 and Jets looked slow and bad. That game proved nothing.
  7. Could be, for sure. The Monday nighter will be a big game vs Pats as that may be for the division. Away at TB as well. Looking forward to those games but the others should be pretty ho hum as far as seeing what we have. Jets game showed us very little as, for example, Diggs was put out there 1:1 with a 3rd team DB and freakin Mike ? White was at QB. So , ignore the Jets game. Lets see if the Bills lines get beat up v Colts like they did in the playoff game, that will help sort this out
  8. First time seeing Josh throw it live at Jets game Sunday. Was in lower bowl watching and his ball just explodes out of there. Even the touch throws have zero float to them. Nothing new being posted here, just go see him from the first 20-25 rows sometime; its pretty cool as his throwing motion and release and ball flight are pretty special. BTW, the mafia really showed up on a cold as crap day. Also, Hundreds tailgating inside the NJ Transit main train station in the city while waiting for train to Meadowlands was pretty unique too (there is a bar in the station..putting 16oz beers in little carry away brown paper bags at 10 30 in the morning... only in NYC) .
  9. the whole thing teaches an important lesson: be careful what you say in an email as emails can be out there and accessible for a very long time once sent.
  10. I would think if 6 guys are dropping most downs, BD/JA just need to be patient and take the WR pitchouts, Dump offs to RBs and running plays and just move it downfield. QB draws work well also. they'll get caught with man once in awhile and the above gets crushed, but Josh needs to be smart and throw it away. No hero ball picks and no hero ball fumbles and they win against Jax .
  11. I will be there with several as well. NYC Bills Backers has their pre game shebang (Pinto Ron, the works) in Lot 26 at MetLife, as usual. Worth checking that out once you are parked. Get your parking for that lot or nearby. See. https://sable.godaddy.com/c/28217?id=211587.761.1.8fcca90361ad0e0285813bb281f5f17c for details-- these were the directions for 2019 (2020 didnt happen of course) but still relevant. We are coming from the city on the LIRR/NJT, which drops you right outside the stadium. As mentioned , it's all just a road/pavement/parking desertscape as the Devils arena is there as well. Also see https://nycbbb.com/ This is the bills backers site for NYC. They are now based out of Pennsylvania 6 bar/restaurant (very near Penn Station), given the demise of the legendary McFaddens. Penn 6 has a thing on Sat night and after the game Sunday (drink specials etc) . See you there!
  12. All they need is a healthy Spencer Brown and Dawson Knox. They had the O Line fixed when Brown went in and then lost it when he went out. The guy is a 6'8" high motor monster and a complete change up vs the softies on the rest of the line. Knox is a good blocker on those counter plays and all that was lost when he went out. Tommy Sweeney is strictly a backup
  13. Give me a healthy Spencer Brown and Dawson Knox, play a couple games and then let's have this discussion again. Injuries to key players matter in the NFL, with O Line and QB injuries number 1a and 1b. No O Line, offense suffers. Pretty simple. Bills have been very fortunate in the past with no O Line /TE injuries; this year not so much.
  14. Helps when you have a HOF guard who blocks two guys by himself on most plays.
  15. yep, he's no dink and dunker.. that's why he is seeing zone shells and having trouble with them. He's young, he will learn and he is learning.
  16. I had poor Covid vax performance as the main pre season threat to the season (now probably overtaken by O Line meltdown, but yeah). Have a good laugh everyone, until a few key starters go down bc they are handling Covid like self-centered 13 yr olds.
  17. completely agree. injuries matter in the NFL. wipes out the right side of the line (G, T and TE) when they are out. the average fan just doesn't understand. There is a reason Ford is a backup (at guard, no less). plus Williams got his fat contract and went to sleep and can't play RT anymore... Beane was very wise to grab Spencer Brown in the draft.
  18. the video probably misses some of what really happened ... what was said, etc. can't really go by the video
  19. love how this board goes nuts after a loss... everyone just pissing all over everything.. cracks me up. by thursday night everyone back on board. set your watches.
  20. agree. Until Spencer Brown comes back.
  21. A "potential" overreaction?? Yikes, you're insane. We have a top 5 roster in this league, great on field leadership and 9 freakin games still to play. Thin on O Line today and it showed. It's just one week.
  22. So smart to draft Spencer Brown, get him back ASAP. No one gets around that dude.
  23. turnover game. simple as that. take away the turnovers, they win.
  24. all teams are taking away all the 15yd+ stuff now. just like we do to them. gotta trickilate it down the field now
