  1. Now that the Bills are on the verge of their first SB, it seems fitting to invite to the SB parade that player who suffered the longest during the drought. Is there even a way to figure this out? Is is Brian Moorman? Fred Jackson? Kyle W doesn't count bc he was on a playoff team. Doesn't necessarily need to be a starter. Would be interesting to know who this was.
  2. the problem with this board is 20-30 responders went with it
  3. shocking. careful what you ask for, if he goes the entire organization goes with him and you are starting from scratch
  4. Herbert doesn't have much around him, frankly. The WR group is weak (look at all the drops yesterday, yikes), the O LIne cannot block anyone and is being rebuilt, and the Harbaugh/Roman bromance playcalling looks pretty sleepy. That Greg Roman is still calling plays in the NFL is silly, but hey he's Harbaugh's old school buddy. Josh had the same situation in 2017 and 2018 and just made his own plays to compensate... Seems Herbert can't or is not allowed to create on this own.
  5. Well, 30 deg is pretty cold for a lot of people. Takes the edge off the party for many.
  6. Just like during the season, every game (except the Ravens game) seemed to be a huge battle, at least until well into the 3rd quarter, when the Bills manufacture a break or two or a big play or two and pull away. The tournament will probably be the same as the teams are more evenly matched. Unfortunately in a single elimination tournament, a break or two either way in the second half probably determines who moves on in the tournament. Just the way they set it up.
  7. yeah turf toe pretty much knocks out any slot type receiver. hard to walk much less run. but it seems his recovery is complete now,... we'll see how it goes
  8. non event. nothing to see here
  9. everyplay I saw him on he was getting destroyed
  10. my current plan is to go party and watch my niece's husband play the WM Phoenix open and then watch the game in that big Bills bar in Scottsdale. that is simply the current plan.
  11. he'll come back next season looking like f ing AJ Brown. beef up that skinny rookie body and off we go
  12. I hope the Jets hire him instead of the Pats. his career will permanently be toast then and he can no longer hurt us. sh-tty way the think about it, but....
  13. last time I saw his metrics, they were super solid. yet another Beane winner. plus getting Kromer to coach them. McBeanes are killing it!
  14. I don't think so. He is clearly the backup mike (green dot on the helmet) mike LB. He has never seen action in the Milano role to my knowledge. Kid must have instincts and smarts to be designated so. Folks on the board need to realize that the Milano and Bernard roles are NOT interchangeable. Sigh.
  15. There is always one upset, you are correct. I'm thinking Bucs at home. --- 'Skins have been very fortunate this year, but kudos to the group here, they have put the fans back in there seats here. Next year the home fans will re appear. The book is out on them now. No more hail mary wins I suspect.
  16. heartbreaking,... really.. A few more years of playoff purgatory for the Pats, please and thank you
  17. this is a bad idea for countless reasons this is a bad idea for countless reasons, many of which have already been stated. trust the process, McBeanes will bring you your precious SB , but only in the context of ongoing quality, productivity and winning on the field. this is a bad idea for countless reasons, many of which have already been stated. trust the process, McBeanes will bring you your precious SB , but only in the context of ongoing quality, productivity and winning on the field. this is a bad idea for countless reasons, many of which have already been stated. trust the process, McBeanes will bring you your precious SB , but only in the context of ongoing quality, productivity and winning on the field. this is a bad idea for countless reasons, many of which have already been stated. trust the process, McBeanes will bring you your precious SB , but only in the context of ongoing quality, productivity and winning on the field. this is a bad idea for countless reasons, many of which have already been stated. trust the process, McBeanes will bring you your precious SB , but only in the context of ongoing quality, productivity and winning on the field. this is a bad idea for countless reasons, many of which have already been stated. trust the process, McBeanes will bring you your precious SB , but only in the context of ongoing quality, productivity and winning on the field. this is a bad idea for countless reasons, many of which have already been stated. trust the process, McBeanes will bring you your precious SB , but only in the context of ongoing quality, productivity and winning on the field. this is a bad idea for countless reasons, many of which have already been stated. trust the process, McBeanes will bring you your precious SB , but only in the context of ongoing quality, productivity and winning on the field.
  18. but this D does lead in turnovers, thats the point. its a point of emphasis, not just "hope we get some" ; its a way of playing. One turnover is worth 2 punts. Protect the ball on offense, turn them over on defense. Its not luck, its a strategy, an approach. Fanbase needs to get over "Chris Jones" syndrome. there are like 5 guys of that type in the entire league (Vea, Simmons, a couple others) and that is it and they are locked up. Sure Beane will go back to the draft to get one, but drafting in the 30's ain't getting that done. What the Bills do is an alternative to having a Chris Jones and it is working.
  19. Typically, agents of top RBs at this stage of their rookie deal have them hold out for a new contract. Don't come to OTAs, the whole bit. Expect Cook to do that in the spring.
  20. i think we've kind of worn out this topic. They're playing the attacking, penetrating style of defense that fits the personnel they have and the offense they have. Is what it is. I'd rather this than Reggie Ragland three steps behind RBs and Kelce every down. You need to make a choice. As long as Josh lights 'em up on offense (and 9 out of 10 times he does) , this D scheme works just fine.
  21. Dorian will not be playing MLB, he never has. I believe the depth chart is Spector then Buffalo Joe, maybe Morrow? This could end up being a problem.
  22. yeah me too. whoopee no flag football
