man the offseason is slow

this draft class looks pretty crappy for big potential players compared to other years sucks to be the Titans; tough year to have the #1 pick

Ovi's record. Smth like that in NFL?
ProcessTruster replied to Artem Lipatov's topic in The Stadium Wall
nice record, but Gretzky has no peer, and its not even close I live in the DC area, and Ovi scored a ton by burying a bunch of one timers from the top of the circle on the power play.. like hundreds of goals this way.. a little like Cook scoring a pile of TDs from inside the 10, makes the total TD count kind of misleading The Great One is hundreds of points ahead of anyone else.. total team player. multiple Stanley Cups , etc etc. Ovi is kind of like a Randy Moss or Jerry Rice, amazing ability to score a ton but ....- 96 replies

Rasul Douglas Wants to Stay in Buffalo
ProcessTruster replied to Warriorspikes51's topic in The Stadium Wall
he may be washed in the context of the coming increasing incidence of man coverage league wide (to force QB to hold the ball longer..) but: My guess is that Beane (like every other interested GM) will wait to see how the draft shakes out b4 coming to a conclusion on Douglas -

Bills need to get Taiwan Jones and Siran Neal on the horn quick.. time to play some ST again! they agreed on the 35 last year and then caved at the last minute to see if the 30 would do the trick... which it didn't -
As a veteran tennis player/fan, and if Hawkeye is being used the same way it is used in pro tennis, then yes, they must have found a way to geolocate the ball relative to the line to gain with enough precision (even in the midst of multiple tacklers -- don't know how that is accomplished) to do exactly that. Hell, they could even "ring a bell" as the line to gain is crossed, similar to how "OUT" is electronically called in real time as the tennis ball misses the line in a tennis match. wow, super cool if they have figured this out

Bills halt contract negotiations with Cook
ProcessTruster replied to Returntoglory's topic in The Stadium Wall
not to many, many, esp. young NFL guys from shi--ty backgrounds... the cash is king. its all about the bag. Half the guys in the NFL are mercenaries first, goal seeking idealists second.. -
Bills halt contract negotiations with Cook
ProcessTruster replied to Returntoglory's topic in The Stadium Wall
something like that, yep... Cook needs to hedge that he doesn't get that little body racked up. Should be an interesting watch during the season. Not sure at all that they'll tag him as that would be between $15 and $20m straight against the 2026 cap ... I'd be surprised if Beane does that... -
Benford Extended 4 Years - 76 million
ProcessTruster replied to Mikie2times's topic in The Stadium Wall
Trust the Process (Draft well, develop the player, extend the players who come out of that process). It has been working for years now. -
NFL makes the "nose swipe" gesture illegal
ProcessTruster replied to The Firebaugh Kid's topic in The Stadium Wall
why are we rooting for these kinds of attitudes and people? the disconnect between the players and the fans of the NFL is as wide as it has ever been not sure about this game and this league sometimes -
Bills had the best free agent class according to ESPN
ProcessTruster replied to BILLS55's topic in The Stadium Wall
if this board didn't have negative opinions on just about everything, it would have no opinions at all Board should go from TwoBillsDrive to TwoBillsWhine -

Anyone else do endless Mock Drafts?
ProcessTruster replied to BruceSlayne's topic in The Stadium Wall
nah, I play golf and tennis this time of year. -
Correct on Diggs. That was a cap disaster and cost Beane an entire season from a FA market perspective. Cover 1 has taught me quite a few scheme design things for sure, and I like to think I know what I'm looking at. Sure, they are WNY homer guys for sure, just like the rest of us..... but they take a very film analysis viewpoint, and the film doesn't lie.

reading all these posts, it seems that as much as you guys loath OBL, you are all watching/listening to it. what a bunch

So many on this board (incl. me) who are out of the area. Curious as what % of TBD is outside WNY

lets see what he has this year... patience, people -
so the highest scoring offense in the league is only the 8th most expensive? good management (again) by McBeanes.

Has Cook talked himself OFF the Bills for 2025
ProcessTruster replied to DeepPass's topic in The Stadium Wall
yep. I agree. but Beane will be fair and make a solid offer. -
well, they need an additional 35+ or so players under contract before camp starts......

AFC Championship Game- How do you feel now about it?
ProcessTruster replied to Another Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
did not get the breaks that the winner of the tournament typically gets. another tremendous, successful season full of so many amazing plays, victories and memorable moments -
Free Agent Lull.... are we done minus bit players or more to come?
ProcessTruster replied to JP51's topic in The Stadium Wall
we are done with FA. With only $5m of cap left, that will pretty much be used up for draftees and UDFAs. Actually Beane probably needs another $5m of cap space, so watch out, could be more changes / contract restructures coming.
