  1. If we are healthy and play in OP, we win. Otherwise, its a lot like last year. Roster health is everything in single elimination tournaments.
  2. nah. hell , Justin Tucker is now missing kicks left and right (pun intended) . let it go.
  3. Beane rebuilt the roster in 6 months and now , when healthy, have a younger, better, cheaper roster than what they had 12 months ago. Congrats McBeanes. You are still killing it. Now lets keep the roster on the field and go win something.
  4. As I've said forever, injuries matter. "Next man up" is largely a myth. There are reasons backups are backups. Win the Division and be healthy when the playoffs start. that's all I want
  5. With the kind of guaranteed or even the minimum money being made by even those at the bottom of the roster, I believe the NFL has become essentially footballs version of LIV golf, something of an exhibition league where competition is pretty fierce (just like competition in any club leagues) between the lines, but the players are basically part of a big entertainment enterprise, kind of never ending TV series that has a huge audience. Hey, most players state that they see the next game like a TV series sees filming the next episode, just part of the routine. Heck the players are rooting for each other (on other team) to get that guaranteed money bag. Like a big money soaked fraternity. Hate to say it, but the TV networks billions shoveled to the players, driven by WE, the TV viewers have made it that way.
  6. yep, something like that. injuries matter. Mcduffie will shut shakir down and that leaves like no one to throw to if Cooper, Coleman and Kincaid all sit, which seems likely
  7. but the 8m is offset by dead cap of 15m, so net $7m of cap hit next year when he not even on the team. .. hmm yeah that works Beane. cut him after this season, yes.
  8. pretty much...i wonder if the Bills will really pay up for a "mere" zone coverage corner. If Levi Wallace could do it successfully, "anyone" can in McD's defense. I just wonder if they don't let him walk, sign Douglas to a two year deal, elevate Elam and draft another corner. Save $20m per doing that. Rousseau will be 25m per as well one thing I do not understand is what can be done to exit Von without some monster cap hit next year.. anyone know??
  9. I'll be in town this weekend doing elder care duty , so I might be able to get to the game.. not sure
  10. no. wrong. Beane went and got Mike Edwards, who got injured and then (from what I understand to be inside info) inexplicably turned out to be a head case and locker room cancer because the coaches wanted him to compete for the job. OP is wrong, Beane did his job and then the player lost his mind to the point he had to be cut. Call it "Diggs Syndrome".
  11. Daniel Jones is so f ing bad
