The difference might literally be as simple as Steve Spagnuolo. The guy is really good. Shut down the 2007 Patriots offense when he was with the Giants.
The Bills will never get to the Super Bowl if they are giving up 27+ points in every single divisional/conference championship game. It's too much to ask of the offense in consecutive weeks against the top four teams in the conference.
This… for McDermott to be a great defensive guy, our defense folds every year, it’s time for them to draft outside the box. Because the guys there getting on the Dline get own in big games , even against backups!!!!

Here's the only good news about KC back in the Super Bowl:
If you hate Tom Brady, Mahomes is one step closer to dethroning him as the GOAT.
I’ve been thinking more about this now, Mahomes dose have a little ways to go to catch Brady, but you better believe it’s going to be a talking point from here on out.. and to think KC had a off year!!!

Oliver.
But otherwise I agree with your assessment of the major issue. Coaching isn't perfect. But we have lots of good players and not enough real top end talent.
Chris simms has been saying this for years now!!!

I hope the lions win it all.

I remember before the Pats dynasty it was common knowledge that another dynasty would never exist. The era of free agency put an end to that. Ironically, the league has been completely dominated by a select few teams. It seems like the 80s and 90s actually had more parody.
It was bad when NE went to the Super Bowl every other year, but this feels worse because we do have a great QB. Buffalo has to get it together,

Make sure I’m in Buffalo to join the biggest Super Bowl celebration this country has ever seen.
I told my boss this 5 years ago when he hired me, and I’m from Mississippi. Oh and I know I will cry lol. 35 years of emotions coming at once, so yea.

It’s not just McD. I keep looking for ANY sign of accountability in either of Pegula’s sports franchises and I haven’t seen a single one since Kim’s unfortunate health issue. Seems like the Bills and Sabres are both flying on autopilot.I said the same thing about Kim a while back, she was really the big boss , and had her hand in it. Terry just bought the team, McDermott and Brandon run everything now. That’s why when I hear the media talk about the owner firing McDermott I laugh.

I thought going into this year that it was a slight setback season mostly because how difficult our schedule looked and not so much because of lack of talent. I guess in the end the team performed above expectations or about as expected. Had we not sustained so many injuries down the stretch I think the team would have overperformed my expectations for the season. Looking at individual players, some have overperformed and a bunch more have underperformed this year. The good news is the players that have played above expectations are all the young guys. So we have a good foundation to build off of.
Overperformers
Dalton Kincaid
O'cyrus Torrence
Kalil Shakir
Terrel Bernard
James Cook
Josh Allen
Underperformers
Gabe Davis
Dawson Knox
Deonte Harty
Stefon Diggs
Von Miller
Greg Rousseau
Tyler Bass
I really hope Greg Rousseau takes a big step, next year.. we need someone the defense can count on, every year in big playoff games our Dline gets pushed around.

This is a big drive. I hope Allen just runs if it’s not open, just keep the sticks moving

Have to score a td.

The Dline isn’t injured, we better score every time,
