Man that year had some crowd favorites; Manuel, Thad, Tuel. Remember, they benched Thad and we got the Tuel Time @ 6 the following week… That was also Andy Reid’s first season in KC. 😔

Bills Mafia member Buffalo Ron's son needs a liver transplant
BBFL replied to chongli's topic in The Stadium Wall
The body is so very strange… 5 weeks after donating my liver 19 years ago it was at 97% it’s original size. Prior to that I was naive and didn’t do enough research to know that you can only donate your liver one time prior to passing away. Not saying I regret the decision but seeing as they refuse you to donate a second time I hope none of my children fall into the same situation as young Ezra where I can’t help their quality of life. I know there’s complications that can come with donation but if indeed the body can regenerate that organ it should be a choice for repeated donors… Maybe have a time frame between each surgery? -

That article is for Pinto Ron. Buffalo Ron is not the same person. -

Make friends from strangers by wearing a jersey?
BBFL replied to Joe Ferguson forever's topic in The Stadium Wall
Met a KC fan in South Side Pittsburgh while at dinner a few hours ago… “F—-ing losers yet again..” ”Your QB f—ing sucks…” ”we’ll end your season next year again…” The humbleness and humility was otherworldly. -
Lol I know who they are just never seen it. That’s absolutely wild image 😂

Falcons hire Rams DC Raheem Morris as head coach
BBFL replied to Draconator's topic in The Stadium Wall
Im not a huge Jim Harbaugh fan but I think that he’ll make a success out of that franchise for a few years, drop to mediocrity and then move on. Now granted he had an outstanding defense but there was success offensively with both Alex Smith & Kaepernick. Kaepernick was a better runner than Herbert but I think he’s no slouch there… Definitely a better passer. Who knows if it was just Roman’s system or the combination of that and Harbaugh that made Kaep’ a success but the wheels certainly came off his career when Greg and Jim left SF. Do you feel he’s going to be a success in LA or is it the wrong choice? -
Who are you trading for?

Where do the Bills rank in press coverage?
BBFL replied to Buffalo_Stampede's topic in The Stadium Wall
Would be interested to see how many times he runs press in a man coverage call… -
Making stuff up? That YAC from WRs dramatically dropped the second half of the season… The only one after Cinci/Denver was Shakir. A RB for YAC is a gimme as most of it is a dump off with them having momentum. My point was about being wide open for YAC where they aren’t having to break a tackle to do so.

Correct but for where this season was ending that was off the cards and not something we could afford to do. Bernard and Benford would have been the only guys we didn’t lose out on by skipping the WC against Pitt. For that reason is where I stand that the HF advantage with a late bye week was just as good.
-
The only guy I have confidence in is Josh. Need someone who’s able to help him by scheming wide open throws. That comes in part with talent at the receiving end but rarely do we see a guy wide open for the YAC… Something everyone was clamoring for last off season. It didn’t change. Shanny, McDaniels, Reid and Johnson all produced offenses high in that category with questionable talent outside their #1 targets…

I’m sure there’s other guys to give a better perspective of where he is likely to land. I do like Nugent from Michigan as an alternative to Van Pran or Frazier. Need to find a replacement for Mitch though. He looked rough at times last year but the guard play improved either side of him this season and he played well. Think he has 1 if not 2 more years. Would be nice to have someone Josh and the other guys have some familiarity with when he does hang it up.

WHAT IN THE ACTUAL F—- 😂

I feel you on the lifestyle. I’m all in but it’s not the be all-end all of life for me what happens with the team. Statistically it may have been wrong. But the throw was there. Especially after 2 consecutive drives stalling out with one ending in a bizarre choice of fake punt. More focus needs to be on our #1 letting a 50 yard ball go through both of his hands rather than Josh barely missing a throw. Which if you’re happy for a 10 year career of Josh, you live with. You seem sound enough to know within reason we win and rarely lose games because of him.

Fried Cannoli Ben Johnson won’t be doing anything until SB I would presume. Rightly so. Even then, if he’s as hot a commodity as he’s made out to be, teams will probably wait until he’s ready.
-
Might be a trade back then if the WRs have gone? 100% with you that Van Pran will be gone by our second rounder. Think he has a lot of flexibility where you can play him if Center isn’t an immediate hole. Living in the Pittsburgh area there’s access to a lot of WVU games however I only caught 3 games: Backyard Bowl (Pitt) Penn State TCU Guy was solid in the run game in each of them. Atheltic and agile. Gets great leverage to secure his blocks and remains stout. Great at moving into the second level. Pass protection is his only problem I saw in those games. Didn’t show the awareness to move through assignments when not engaged; kept his eyes straight ahead or down though very few plays actually ended up as a negative because of him. Solid option for that pick in the second round as he’s definitely progressed and improved the past few years at WVU.

JFC. Come on man… They played like sh-t and stopped them on 2 of their final drives is simply my point. That immediately gives them confidence. I even told you I agreed with your post with one exception. Literally implied by the “waxing the floor” verbiage I used. But for arguments sake… You live in a deluded reality if that’s what you got from my posts. I didn’t state or imply that I am ok with any play the defense made all night just that your “all night” was prior to the fumble out the EZ. The defense made plays on 2 drives… 1) to stop KC going up a guaranteed 10; they weren’t kicking a FG if we stopped them on 3rd and goal from the 1. 2) to keep them only up by 3 Ive played sports competitively in a Pro-Am level… American Football and Soccer. Winning or losing, It is how you end a game that matters.

Yeah man. That ain’t happening. If we missed the playoffs there’s a chance you can make the move but to get into the top 5, which is 100% where he goes; if not top 3, you’ll have to give up an embarrassment of riches. MH2 is legit but you only give that capital for a QB. Honestly believe we go defense again this year for the 1st round. Believe they’ll convince themselves they allocated resources for the offense last year (King Cade: 25th & Cyrus: 59th). Maybe Murphy (DT) from Texas or Hicks (Safety) from Washington. It would be better to go offense in this draft and buy from the pool of defensive FA’s as there is better immediate talent there. Don’t think that happens however. If they do: WR: Leggette (UofSC) Worthy (Texas) Franklin (Oregon) Thomas Jr. (LSU) Also might need to look at a Morse replacement ASAP: Van Pran (Georgia) Frazier (WVU)

All night would imply the night in totality but you say “the whole game prior to those drives”… you also said we “We showed no sign of being able to stop it if KC got the ball with that much time left” But they did. On back to back drives. A Turnover and then a 5 play drive for a total of 8 yards. Dude I’m not disputing that KC waxed the floor with us for the majority of the night. But the defense stepped up at the end of the game big time. Simple point was in crunch time barring a 30 yard rip our defense looked like they could hold them. Which I, personally, feel would have happened again had we made the FG. Especially if we scored a TD. Your post isn’t wrong. It’s that one point I disagree with. I just feel differently toward the statement my last post was directed to. It’s how you finish the game that matters.
