  1. Made a deal with the devil I see…
  2. 100%. I just don’t know why they’d do it that way.
  3. They split the $7m over two years instead of paying it all in one season. Might have been because they believed he was going to hit the contact incentives built in? I don’t know why they chose to do it that way. Pretty rough either way though as that $4.3m is a decent chunk of change.
  4. Guess there’s 2 pieces of news in that tweeted chart… Savage, Davenport, Zeitler, Tyron Smith and Mike Evans will all best testing FA if you’re in the market. Think the 4 latter still have decent football left to play. Savage is a baller and I hope if he isn’t pricing himself out of the situation that we make an attempt to sign him. So important you pay the position when they’re not even there! 🤯
  5. Tykee Smith interests me. Was a solid defender in college this past year and finally came into showing Pro quality. He’s all over the places in mocks. Seen him as high as 70 and as low as 160. Goes to show you how some of these people have things graded pre-draft.
  6. Couldn’t pass up Turner falling that far down. WRs went early and often. Absolutely none @ pick 60. McCaffrey and Baker wouldn’t be bad selections.
  7. They’re wild at times. There was a couple of drafts where MHJ didn’t get drafted until pick 15+… There was one which was still not a free for all and went by BBR where McConkey, Franklin and Thomas Jr. all were drafted before MHJ, Odunze and Nabers. Oddly enough in that draft the first 3 were Maye, Williams then Daniels. 😂🤯
  8. Like Rousseau, think he’s a solid player and is still pretty raw. I wonder how much of a hinderance the whole rotation thing on the DLine is to his development… Look at the rest of the league in terms of snap counts, and I’m not putting him on par with these guys it’s just a playing percentage, where guys who make the biggest differences and most plays in terms of TFL’s, forced fumbles and Sacks; Maxx Crosby, Khalil Mack, Micah Parsons, Danielle Hunter, Myles Garrett, Nick Bosa, Aaron Donald, TJ Watt, Trey Hendrickson and Josh Allen. All of them play around the 80% or more mark with Garrett, Bosa and Donald at 76%+. Hendrickson is the only outlier but still remains at 68%. Rousseau has played 49%, 44% and 55% of the snaps in his first 3 years. I’d like to see him on the field a lot more this year so you know whether he’s absolutely worth an extension and/or the 5th year option (which he is). Essentially, I feel he’d be a better and more impactful player the more he’s on the field. Just needs that chance to. 75% of the snaps is reasonable for a first rounder going into year 4 when you still have massive question marks at that area of the defense.
  9. Just not a fan of McConkey for what we have already on this team. He’s a great player put doesn’t address the boundary/deep tall bodied receiver we need. However… if you’re getting Legette, Nugent, Hicks and Ruke then I’d say that draft is an absolute home run.
  10. Yeah. His asking price firmly puts us out of the equation with Diggs’. Can’t pay both of them. Couple that with giving away a 1st or multiple day 2 picks? No thanks.
  11. Well at least she’s a professional… 😂
  12. Who needs Viagra with those in front of you?!?!
  13. You dismiss a guy who makes a living on quick throws after asking could they. Double down on your first response: ”But do you really think, say, Trevor Lawrence or Tua would've pulled that off? I highly doubt it. Beyond the Bills charity, the 13 seconds disaster still required a high level of execution from the Chiefs and an innate understanding of how to quickly identify and attack the weakness in coverage (specifically the positioning of Levi Wallace) by 2 All Pro players in Mahomes and Kelce.” How are you not implying he is the only one we lose to when you suggest that Mahomes, being the only QB in the above post, and no other QBs; not even Tua or Lawrence are capable? Again, if you don’t believe there’s other QBs who can make a gimme throw, there’s nothing else to say. I disagree with your assessment that no one else succeeds in that exact same scenarios.
  14. It’s a blanket statement? I didn’t know me being direct with the words that most QBs can make that throw, then providing context as to how the two you listed could also be blank… Which ever you are referring to. Both QBs you stated had multiple game winning drives in their career for pretty sub-par teams. On further depth, talking about a clutch factor Trevor Lawrence, for as underwhelming as I feel, has had a major post-season game where he was clutch… Had to be clutch that whole comeback against the Chargers who were blowing them out @ Half time. So what is it? You have to be clutch to complete wide open passes now because of the game context you’re playing in? Keep raising the criteria until you’re right I guess. I see it like this: clutch to make a contested throw, clutch to make a rope through coverage, clutch to make a throw that has placement where only the receiver can get it… sure. I never know you had to be clutch to complete wide open gimmes with coverage playing 10+ yards off… Irrespective of what game you’re playing in. You’re not talking about throws where they have to be a TD and they’re 10 yards off playing the EZ. I get it. You want the narrative to be that it was, Mahomes, one of the greatest and the greatest who could only do and make those throws as a reason why we lost.. Reality is the majority of QBs in decent collegiate programs and the NFL make those throws.
  15. MVP! MVP! MVP!
  16. Yes. 100%. They’ve shown they have a place in this league and can pass the ball. Especially Tua lol what a sh-t example… the guy’s bread and butter is 5-15 yard passes. 😂🤦‍♂️ If you really believe that the majority of QBs can’t make a wide open throw when the defense is 10-15 yards off, again, I don’t know what to tel you… Zach Wilson could make them. Justin Fields, Daniel Jones, Ridder, Bryce Young, Minshew, Dobbs, Pickett, Trubisky, Rudolph, PJ Walker, Tyler Huntley, Mac Jones… All those “bottom feeder” QBs.
  17. 😂 Maybe not but he’s averaged 12.9 yard p/c in his career… Got to be some downfield action in there.
  18. I’d go Mooney, AJ Dillon/Gus Edwards & Tashon Gibson and Mike Edwards if that list is the only options we can acquire. If you’re breaking the bank a little more: Bourne, Mike Edwards and Chinn & Kinlaw.
  19. Cocky is about right. When the Lions were blowing the 9ers out in the 1st QTR of the NFCC he was up and down the sideline waving goodbye to their fans 😂
  20. I think the majority of the fan base is in the WR camp… Dont reach for it if those top 6 guys are gone @ 28, Which I think as it stands right now, 5 will be gone. Which puts me into the shift of if they believe it’s a DLineman; an area of high need then so be it. Same goes for Safety. Some massive holes that need addressed. WR>DL>S Let the chips fall where they may. We have a stellar QB and whilst we do will always remain competitive.
  21. Attention to detail. Inspection of a crime scene? Plenty of options.
  22. I won’t disagree that any interview process has some benefits, it does, just that some of the stuff has absolutely no value that they ask. Every year there’s plenty of prospects stating that some teams ask some weird and way too inappropriate questions. Method to their madness, must be.
  23. To some extent but with some of the sh-t they ask these guys, I’d hardly call that reason for a valuable assessment.
  24. You think Rattler is worth drafting?
  25. In terms of spending they are better off going after defensive FAs. There’s a host of talent in that pool and likely the best course to correct problems as they have experience. Save the draft for offense unless guys who are just to talented to pass. Need a DT and Safety that have youth badly so I won’t be disappointed if they ***** some up in the draft like your mock suggests.
