  1. You T alk about tone deaf comments… This is exactly that. After your previous ones regarding the subject there is no “gray area”.
  2. Do you think if he tests well he goes into the Franklin/Ladd/Worthy grouping?
  3. Each to their own. After almost dying on a football field I would think people would understand that it’s just a game at the end of the day… You make it sound akin to betrayal. It’s not. If Josh says he a Pats fan but puts it all on the line every game, which he does, I couldn’t care less about something as frivolous as which team they support from an individual and personal standpoint. To my opening verbiage… To each their own.
  4. Cowing and Burton are very interesting prospects that could turn into gold or be an absolute bust. I guess that’s the same with any prospect though… McMillian (Washington) & Walker (North Carolina) are two guys outside the consensus top 5/6 guys I am keeping an eye on. Think they’re in the same grouping as Cowing & Burton.
  5. If we didn’t have Knox, Jonnu would be an interesting acquisition. Think he’s a very talented #2 to have or a low-end #1. Let’s say Floyd and AJE are out the door and don’t come back, wonder if Barrett would take a little less to come play with Von? He always said when his move to Tampa paid off that he credits Miller with guiding him on how to be a successful and consummate professional as a teammate and player. 🤔
  6. So I’m guessing they’re doing this to ballpark the contract he’d likely fetch on the open market too? Maybe try and retain him @ a similar price. Hard to imagine him willingly go anywhere else for a similar price…
  7. Chill out? Saying JFC is being un-chill? Lol ok… There’s nothing weird about it. If he grew up in say Dallas, was a Cowboys fan and was playing for us, sure. It would be a weird thing to say. Nothing weird about a guy who’s in the position to actually do what he dreamed of a as a child to say that the childhood/hometown team is one he could see/want himself to play for. Wouldn’t be any different if a sibling in the NFL said they’d like to join _____ so they could play with their brother… Theres no fire here. No need to imagine smoke.
  8. JFC. Kid grew up down the street from their stadium, attended games throughout his childhood, went to training camps @ St. Vincent, played collegiately in the same stadium and has personal relationships with staff and players on that team… Like @Blackbeard, @WhoTom and @BuffaloBillyG alluded to… There’s nothing more than a kid talking about his dreams growing up. McDermott should just make himself the twelfth man on ST blunders… Show them how it’s done. Pretty sure he could wrestle his way for a first down.
  9. Pairing all that in, maybe a trade up is inevitable? There is a lot of great talent in this draft @ WR. Though only a handful of guys who are seen as legitimate #1 dominant guys.
  10. $30 for a premium ticket… Cant even buy a couple beers and some food for that price anymore. 😑
  11. I think Thomas Jr. dramatically improves his pre-combine position on most people big board. Feel he shoots into the top 20 prospects overall and sadly will be gone by the time #28 rolls around. Hopefully not but the kid had a phenomenal season in college and just has to test well for the current mock positioning to be a hope and a prayer.
  12. A Sharon would be great, unless she ups and leaves without letting anyone know prior… Guess the letter would be a consolation 😂
  13. Should have at least 1 by now… Shame.
  14. Vlad has a habit of that for years. All of his interviews leave you hanging somewhere so you have something to come back to for the next upload. On top of that it’s pretty much a guarantee that Vlad works with law enforcement for entrapment of some guys who are still active in their communities misguided choices… Not my first choice for any form of coverage any more. Especially sports lol
  15. Personally, this might be favorite mock I’ve had. Aside from missing out on Javon Bullard @ pick 100 by 2 spots, so traded back and picked up some future equity, the draft fell pretty much perfectly for BPA & Need. A+ IMO.
  16. Just read an article talking about the unlikelihood of Saquon, Jacobs and Pollard getting the tags again. They then proceeded to list all running backs who are on the FA market… Holy cow. If you need a running back of top quality to be the possible finishing piece to your offense, what an off-season for your team. Now while Ekeler and Henry have a lot of wear and tear on them they still have tremendous value to whomever signs them. Should be exciting! Also on a positive note, thankful Cook showed his true potential last year otherwise we might have had to pay a guy we believe could hold the #1 lead back role for our team. 😮‍💨
  17. I feel I’ve ended up having that exact draft in terms of the first 5 picks on one of them I’ve done before lol
  18. Josh has had some head scratching moments but he’s not the reason we’ve stumbled and fallen short in the postseason… It takes a team to win in the playoffs. Whilst a SuperBowl is the ultimate goal, it’s refreshing to be a team people other than our fellow fans enjoy watching and rooting for. That pretty much begins and ends with Josh. Especially in todays game. The be-all end-all is the QB. Josh is the franchise and I’ll be forever grateful for him casting an absolute dark shadow on those drought years. Enjoy it. Especially with the next generations taking the fandom mantle.
  19. Two Sean’s don’t make a right…
  20. Would be interested further to see the first 9 weeks versus the last of the season and P/O’s…
  21. Those top 6 guys are all great additions. Best bet is Mooney in terms of value. Evans will get a sizable deal as he’s still as stud. Samuel has talent and has proven so, someone might splash the cash. Ridley did great in a prove it year after his suspension, will cash in; probably a return to JAC. Pittman and Bourne are interesting and probably sign long term deals somewhere. Mooney? Who knows. He might skate by in FA and settle or someone might give him the deal he wants. Think he’s the most budget friendly guy we could acquire out of that top group. Maybe Josh Reynolds but does he have that consistent speed or verticality on the outside that we lack? No. Tyler Boyd? Too pricey. The rest no thank you unless you bring Chark in on a vet minimum.
  22. The question becomes what is Henry’s asking price? The ball park projection is a one year $8-10m. He still has voidable on the Titans’ books which means if it’s $10m, 4.7m is what they are still paying him… Does he take a $4m deal to come here? Maybe… Not that it matters, but do fans want them forking out $6-7m for a guy who’s only getting 10 touches unless the circumstances dictate otherwise? Someone is going to pay more than 4 for his services. Guaranteed.
  23. The prodigal son returns!
  24. Absolutely. Just my view after talking to people who watched every game of his and what he brings is that’s he is suited for a 3/4 is where he’d transition best for success in the NFL, not that he can’t be a DE in a 4/3 scheme. Personally not enamored with traits and measurables, if I were drafting I’d like to see some top end production somewhere from a guy you are selecting with that important a pick. That will always vary from person to person evaluating and drafting and rightly so. Regarding the positional need and where value falls on the board of candidates right now, they are taking another defensive lineman. Be that edge or interior. There isn’t really a doubt in my mind. It’s all a personal standpoint to put Josh in the best position possible as to why the camp I am of hope in is WR but if the top 5 guys are gone then you have to go BPA. Out of those top WR’s it’s pretty much a gimme that MHJ & Nabers are gone. That leaves Odunze, Coleman and Thomas Jr… Barring an absolutely catastrophic combine, I just feel those guys are gone before 25. Actually feel BTJ goes before Coleman. That leaves us, potentially if it falls that way, the next trio of Franklin, Mitchell & Worthy. Logic would say that a defensive guy who the Bills have higher on the board drops down to pick 28 than them passing him up for a WR is where I am at. That’s fine as this draft has some decent talent in abundance on both the defensive line and WR. Let’s hope we just get a guy who contributes for the team. 🤞 Sounds like the perspective is on par with one another to me. 🤷‍♂️
  25. He was at the OLB position at Maryland so there’s that history he has. Anyone can shine or disappear in the NFL. But I take their word for it as since I’ve worked with those guys they’ve been spot on about everyone who was overhyped and wouldn’t pan out: Hackenberg, Gross Matos, Austin Johnson, Odafeh Oweh(sp?), the DT the Falcons recently drafted just to name a few. I know you can’t take a fans perspective as the be all end all but 2 of them played football collegiately at Penn State… One still close friends with Leonard Humphries if you remember that name… He’s told me that Lenny says he is still bummed out that he never got to play for the dynasty Bills 😂
