  1. she asked in a good natured way KNOWING what his answer was going to be.
  2. Not true. I second guessed it the second I saw Bass run onto the field. Giving the steelers the ball on the 40 with 2:30 to go was not a sound decision. Bass hasn't been good on those kicks in good conditions. His chances were definitely less than 50% as it was.
  3. yes. the bills should have been playing 4 down football when they got to the 32. The deep pass on 3rd and 7 was a huge mistake. and bass should have never been trotted out there under any circumstance. I would have been okay with a punt or going for it there. I didn't assume the disaster that did occur, but i was definitely thinking we were handing the ball to the steelers on the 40.
  4. Good for Von, and it really did look like Rudolph threw the ball. That's as big of a pump as you are gonna get without fumbling or letting it slip and throwing a ridiculous looking incomplete pass
  5. wow. hope they take card. how many people carry around that kind of cash?
  6. Sirianni sure seemed to have it together last year. what's the deal with these PHilly coaches who are great one year, and a lump of coal the next?
  7. McD and Tomlin are very similar, and i think their respective fan bases have many of the same complaints about each of them.
  8. you could argue that harlan is better than nantz, but nantz and romo have a good thing going together. nantz should get to go out with that team if he wants.
  9. i love that romo analyzes why a play went wrong, he scrutinizes reviews well, and why a penalty was or wasn't called. and he calls what he sees, for better or worse. as far as josh goes, ya he loves him. if you aren't a bills fan you are definitely complaining about the way he slobbers all over him.
  10. they should have been able to get in for a saturday practice, if that was part of the original plan. what time was it on saturday that the game was officially moved to Monday?
  11. they should have no problem getting to the field house. doesn't sound like we are going to get hit half as hard as we did this weekend. but then again, lake effect is very unpredictable.
  12. if they thought it would make more money as a ppv, they would absolutely do it.
  13. ya..it's not gonna be clean. but better? i'd think so.
  14. if 80% of the seats are under cover, this shouldn't be nearly the problem that it is in the current situation.
  15. lol snow plows are gonna be anywhere near residential. they are all digging out the stadium!
  16. One of my close friends grew up around here, and now flies out of Atlanta. Strangely enough, he got the gig to fly the Steelers back to Pittsburg Monday night.
  17. that sucks. good luck with a bar. i know they were able to call ahead and get peacock for businesses, but likely only very sports minded bars would be on top of that. amazon being regular, has a dedicated channel for bars and restaurants, so that should never be a problem.
  18. the nfl is only about finding more sources of revenue. do you all think we are in london because it makes a better product? LA for that matter as well. the amount of money fans are willing to throw away to go to a game is just disgusting and pathetic. this 6 dollars is the last thing i care about. it's no different than when they started doing games on the nfl network when so many people didn't have that as an option. in fact, the nfl network thing was worse, because we didn't have a $6 option to get it even if we wanted it.
  19. for a bazillion dollars you'd think they'd have drainage and snow melting capabilities to avoid all that.
  20. NFL network will go to crap. there is too much overlap between what they do and what espn does. gonna eventually be the same talking heads going between two channels. i don't watch either, so I don't know if this will make one, the other, or both better or worse, honestly.
  21. interesting he would actually say it, but my guess is that they probably just don't have as much in common with each other as they do with some of the other guys on the team.
  22. At this point, it's the only reason I would like to see McDermott leave. Though flawed, I think he's a good coach.I think he's shown some growth. I just don't think he's the guy to bring our unicorn to his full potential. Im also not sure if there is a slam dunk candidate who can do that.
  23. I understand what amazon offers, i just think 140 per year is ridiculously steep. I also live in an area where same day delivery isn't a thing. if i lived in an area with a lot of same day and one day delivery, i might find more value in it.
  24. i would rather pay 6 for a month of peacock than the amazon thing. Amazon jacked their already inflated price another 20 when they got the nfl package. not sure why everybody is okay with that. free shipping with orders over $35 anyway.
