Bills host WR Tanner Gentry for visit.
OrediggerPoke replied to MAJBobby's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
We said this years ago but Gentry makes a lot of sense for the Bills. The connection him and Allen had in college was fun to watch. Gentry can play the slot and Wyoming used him in the possession receiver role quite a bit. It was even stated in the article you posted: Has experience in playing in the slot and wide as well and also ran all routes on the route tree. -
Josh Allen needs to run the ball more
OrediggerPoke replied to Brianmoorman4jesus's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I was about 20 yards away when Josh Allen ran over the Eastern Michigan defense...then he lowered his shoulder and broke his collarbone. He is an amazing runner; but I think the Bills will see more success when he isn't running 10+ times a game. -
Josh Allen Keeps Dunking On Me (article)
OrediggerPoke replied to Logic's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Perhaps you ought to do a minimum level of research before your horribly misinformed replies. Perhaps you ought to look at who recruited Josh Allen and who Wyoming's QB coach is. Perhaps you ought to look up Brock Jensen. A lot of perhaps. -
Josh Allen Keeps Dunking On Me (article)
OrediggerPoke replied to Logic's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Dumb take. Allen had QB coaching from a coach that put 4 QBs into the NFL. Allen received a ton of coaching and improved tremendously with his mechanics in college. But keep on with the myth if it helps your narrative. -
The only other guy I had ever seen with Allen's mentality at QB in all my years following Wyoming was Bradlee Van Pelt. But Bradlee Van Pelt did not have the physical tools of Josh Allen (not even on the same planet). So when you add superhero physical traits with a competitor's mentality...you get Josh Allen. In college, I compared Allen to Roethlisberger. When I first brought up this comparison (right after Allen's collarbone injury during the Eastern Michigan game when Allen decided to put his shoulder down in QB pads to run over the entire Eastern Michigan defense), folks laughed...but I think Josh Allen will be looked upon much more favorably than Roethlisberger when all is said and done.

The packers really blew it selecting Love
OrediggerPoke replied to NewEra's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The Packers really blew it!! Everyone knows that a QB from the Mountain West Conference is unable to play in the NFL because of all of the inferior competition they played in college. What a joke to draft a MWC QB in the first round!! -
You can ask Josh Allen...stats are for losers!

I was WRONG about Josh Allen
OrediggerPoke replied to Zerovoltz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Josh Allen never played Iowa State. I believe you are referencing the 2017 Iowa team that completely overmatched Wyoming's offense. Wyoming had just lost these guys on offense to graduation in 2016: Jacob Hollister, Brian Hill, Chase Roullier and Tanner Gentry. You might be familiar with Brian Hill and Jacob Hollister if you played fantasy football over the weekend. You might be familiar with Chase Roullier if you watch football. -

We all told you on draft day that the Bills found their franchise QB and that you would all soon be wearing Allen jerseys proudly. Good to see you folks come around. The we should have drafted Josh Rosen comments were hilarious to read on draft day and over the following years...thanks for the laughs. -
Best start since 1993.

The fact that you have to ask should tell you all you need to know. -

If this team had Nathan Peterman it would be 8-0 and easy super bowl favorites. This Josh Allen experiment is an utter failure; it is clear that all the draft pundits were right and the Bills should have taken Josh Rosen. Josh Rosen has much better college stats too. Allen fumbled the ball today and couldn’t throw for 200 yards versus the lowly Redskins. -

Cut Josh Allen! His stats aren’t very good. Wins are meaningless, stats are the only thing that matters. -
First Time I have been concerned with Josh Allen

Bills should have traded up and taken Darnold or stayed where they were and taken Rosen. Those guys have better college stats and so Bills fans would be happy. -
Is this the easiest schedule the Bills ever had?
OrediggerPoke replied to Another Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I will place a significant bet that when all is said and done and all of the NFL teams' win-loss records are added up that it will be .500. If this happens, then this season will end in a tie with the previous 50. -

No Flacco is amazing...and Josh Allen sucks...clearly genius of Elway to pass on Allen in the draft... -

Bills should cut Allen. He is terrible because his stats say so. Who cares what his teammates think and who cares that he wins games. You guys can get this guy!! He went 34-54 for 251 yards and 2 TDs with no picks yesterday. Currently located in Chicago. With him at the helm, Bills win the next 4 super bowls undoubtedly. Then the Broncos can pick up Allen and really suck. -
Stats are for losers...especially when they are cherry picked. EJ Manual had 339 career rushing yards over parts of 5 seasons. Josh Allen has 762 rushing yards in 16 career appearances. But they are 'equal' because the yards per attempt are similar. bull####. Honestly, I am starting to sour on a lot of the Buffalo fans with the constant Allen negativity on here. The dude is a competitor. He is going to make mistakes. He is going to have his struggles. But I don't give a *****, ask me the one QB in the NFL that I want in the 4th quarter to lead my team back and I am taking Josh Allen. Bills beat the Patriots if Josh Allen is on the field at the end of the game. Plain and Simple.

Josh Allen - week one report card
OrediggerPoke replied to rayray808's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The most Josh Allen play that I've ever seen was a play against San Diego State. SDSU brought a huge blitz and Allen scrambled around and then tried to be hero and threw an ill advised cross body throw that was picked off by Damontae Kazee (last year's NFL leader in INTs). Allen ran down Kazee for about 30 yards and lowered the boom knocking Kazee backwards flat on his ass and causing Kazee to fumble the football through the back of the end zone for a touch back and Wyoming's ball. Allen will make mistakes but he will make up for it and lead the team to wins. Stats are for losers. That play will go down as an INT in the stat book but was big momentum to Wyoming. -
Josh Allen - week one report card

Check out: (1) Wyoming v. Northern Illinois 9/3/2016; (2) Wyoming v. Boise State 10/29/2016; (3) Wyoming v. San Diego State 11/19/2016; (4) Wyoming v. Utah State 10/14/2017; (5) Wyoming v. Colorado State 11/4/2017. Each basically the same narrative. Each a loss without Josh Allen late game craziness.
