  1. I myself have been impressed with the fact that Beane has clearly been making phone calls to see the price associated with guys like OBJ and Brown. That is something I don't recall much from previous regimes. Wonder if Daryl Williams price drops off a bit if there are concerns with his knee still. Maybe takes a one-year prove it deal to see if he can stay healthy all season.
  2. I think flexibility is one of McDermott's favorite traits in players, knowing that they can play multiple positions or in multiple phases of the game is something that he holds in high regard. I am ecstatic about the Morse signing, the others may not be headline news but compared to what the Bills fielded in 2018-2019 on the offensive side of the ball, the signings are definitely improvements. And I really like the way Beane has structured some of these deals with easy outs after year 1 or 2, and giving Buffalo flexibility in future off seasons.
  3. Very happy the Bills got Morse, young enough to anchor the line in front of Allen for years to come. The signings of Johnson, Gore, and Kroft are good. Kroft wasn't the TE I would have wanted, but he is an upgrade in terms of blocking with potential to be a decent pass-catching TE. Still leaves room for them to draft a TE. I would like to see Buffalo get Daryl Williams today.
  4. Even though the deal fell through, I like the fact that Beane inquired about Brown, shows they are not complacent in adding talent by any means necessary. Unfortunately it didn't work out this time, but I have a feeling that as Josh Allen progresses, getting FA receivers to come to Buffalo won't be as much of an issue. And showing the league that the Bills can be consistent in winning.
  5. Not surprising, being a healthy scratch last game of the year. I'd like to see them draft someone that can stick with Allen for a long time, someone like Irv Smith who is familiar with Daboll's system.
  6. Maybe he was mad at his barber when he realized his hair was blue and yellow. I agree, at this point he isn't worth the headache. It'll be interesting to see what team tries to go after him.
  7. Agreed, that Sheary Middlestadt ERod line was phenomenal last night. Can't wait for tonight's game, I'll be the only guy in a Sabres jersey in the Stars season ticket section.
  8. I have no problem with Kelly giving Josh Allen some advice and helping to improve his game overall, at the end of the day it will be down to Allen deciding to use it or not.
  9. Yes to both of these points. I think with him having scheduled rests during practices, that him and Allen couldn't build up a rapport with each other. I think if they can move forward and find someone who either FA or draft, maybe you keep Clay as insurance in case someone goes down. But that also takes up roster space and salary for a position of need that could be filled with depth.
  10. I don't really have a problem with someone trying to improve on their craft. Especially with McDermott making sure Palmer knows the terminology, some actual NFL game footage of Allen, and just working on the basics all seem like good things for a second year player.
  11. I was always a huge Eric Moulds fan growing up, it would be awesome to see Josh Allen dropping a perfect 60 yard pass into his hands.
  12. Just thinking about how confusing it would be to hear “Josh Allen just hurdled Josh Allen” ?
  13. Gase's face when he realizes he has to work with Ole Greggggg.....
  14. I like the hire, somebody new compared to a dinosaur. Don't know much about him, but the article was a good read. Really hands on, getting involved with the players, and trying actually see what the players see on the field.
  15. I can definitely agree with that, I think towards the end of the season he placed a little more touch on certain throws. Definitely not perfect, but progress was made from his early starts in the season.
  16. Bradford played bad and did not deserve $20 million, but Vontae changed clothes at halftime and became a national punchline lol definitely #1 material right there.
  17. 1:00 into the first: Sheary had me hyped. 3:30 minutes in: I remembered Hutton was in net
  18. http://nfltraderumors.co/bills-browns-vikings-have-interviewed-joe-philbin/ Looks like OL most likely
  19. Definitely don't think Ed Oliver will be there at 9, I would've taken Allen or Greedy.
  20. I like the selections, although with this FO I wouldn't doubt they draft defense first with the amount of defensive talent projected at the top of the draft.
  21. I wouldn't sign either of them to a huge deal, Mariotta can't stay healthy enough to see some on-field progress, and Winston might have more upside after TB signed Arians. But Arians can only do so much, I don't think Winston will stay out of trouble off the field long enough to reap the benefits of Arians tutelage.
  22. I don’t blame them, especially with his lack of NFL experience. I just don’t think Capers was that great in GB either, never saw their defenses as being elite.
  23. My thoughts exactly, that year under Pederson and being around a championship team most likely taught him some valuable things that he carried over to Indy. Not just that, but he would’ve faced a large amount of pressure from the fan base compared to him coaching anywhere else.
  24. Really going after that Rams model.
  25. I definitely got worried with that Coleman goal 1:28 into the first, but it was one of the most complete games I've watched the Sabres play lately. The passing in the first period seemed a bit sloppy but they cleaned it up in the 2nd once they got into a rhythm. I really enjoyed watching Tage, seemed like he was in on almost every play, pretty sure he became my son's favorite player last night. Definitely encouraging to see him and Mittelstadt playing like they did last night. Hutton looked really good to start the season, but he finally got some support and ended the losing streak, hopefully that can carryover into his next game in net.
