Gunner's 2025 Mock Draft - v1.0
ChronicAndKnuckles replied to GunnerBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
Speed is only a fraction of his game. He had 1200 yards last year. I don’t think he fell off a clip in that short amount of time. I’m still reserving judgment until he has a full offseason to work with. In-season trades are difficult to gauge right away. -

Don’t sleep on Cooper with a full offseason. He could be the guy -

I mean who really saw a white CB actually panning out? It hasn’t happen since Jason Sehorn. -

McDermott is a great leader and gets the most out of talent. I wish he would acknowledge his shortcomings because I would love him in a Marv Levy type roll. -

This entire defense needs a philosophy overhaul. It’s let us down continuously every postseason. Nearly lost the Baltimore game letting them effortlessly drive up the field and getting zero pressure on their last TD throw. I mean idk how you can possibly be any worse? The Bills have a top 5 offense they can lean on while they tweak the defense. They need to get bigger and ditch the nickel. I love Taron Johnson, but they could easily trade him for a good pick or player. Milano & Bernard should be moved to the outside and draft a big Fred Warner type to throw in the middle. Hopefully, Cole Bishop can become that physical hard hitting safety because Damar Hamlin sucks as a starter, I think he is solid depth though. Rapp definitely should be in the future as well. We need a big ass DT also. People keep screaming for WR, but we are still putting up 30 points a game. It’s not a glaring need. Just ask yourself who is responsible for nearly every loss ? It’s the defense. -
Wide Receiver Train Full Speed Ahead- CHOO CHOO!

Absolutely, but they also need a defense that can hold the Chiefs under 30 points. It’s getting a little ridiculous -

Why so much Keon Coleman hate? He’s shown some flashes this season. He was a rookie 2nd rounder. I don’t think he’ll ever be a dominant #1, but it’s definitely a start in rebuilding an abysmal WR core. Tight End is the real problem. Kincaid is mid. We could’ve gotten equal or better production out of a late rounder. -
Dude, Coleman was a rookie. People are so impatient in the social media age. He’s a 2nd rounder, not a top 10 pick expected to make an immediate impact. I thought it was common knowledge that year 3 is typically when WRs break out. He’s shown some great flashes which is what you should see out of a rookie. I was impressed with his game against the Titans, it was a good display of his physicality. People tend to equate athleticism w/ pure speed which is only one aspect. I honestly think he makes a big jump in year 2. He certainly impressed me much more than Dalton Kincaid.

McDermott is not going anywhere. Hate to say it.

Absolutely. He’s too old. We need some more DOGS on this defense. Guys with game breaking ability. I really don’t care what position. Imagine a TJ Watt or Darrelle Revis back there. I used to be in denial, but the D is absolutely lacking in star power. They give up way too many points in the postseason . I hope Buffalo makes a real splash move in the offseason even if they have to overpay.

Pretty much Chiefs fans are the only ones calling us crybabies. The entire NFL including division rival’s fan bases (especially New England whose dynasty is being threatened) all are in unison agreement about this crap. A ton of people will not be watching the SB. Must be nice to sit out on a 1st round bye and cruise through 2 games with heavy help from the officials. Would be awesome if he did. I saw a reel of Josh after each Chiefs loss looking more and more dejected. I wish some of our players would get angry. It might bring more heat onto the issue. If it’s a penalty, throw it.

While I disagree that he’s the best, he definitely should be in the discussion. His downfall was winning championships before the merger. Bruce Smith to me is still the greatest Bills of all time. His dominance over the span of time he played is unmatched. He’s played in multiple eras and put up elite production in each one. 200 sacks will never be broken. Ever

At this point, it might be the only way anybody else has a chance. Whenever the Chiefs find themselves treading in deep water, the refs throw them a flotation device. Yep. The only way to win is to dominate them. Close games will end up in their favor every time. Hence their 16-0 record in one score games. I refuse to believe the Chiefs & Mahomes are just that clutch. That doesn’t make people think?

Glad I’m not the only one who noticed multiple blocks in the back on that KO return. The chiefs player even put his hands up immediately after drawing even more attention. The non-catch by Worthy at the 4 yard line 😂 the whole length of the football passed the line to gain. As Journey says “it goes on and on and on and on…” Glad NFL fans are waking up to this blatant crap. Mahomes was asked about the officiating during their press conference and you could see the guilt all over his face. The league is so bent on someone else challenging Tom Brady’s dominance. They are literally manufacturing W’s for this man. Thankfully, people are seeing through the BS. I predict that this is going to be one of the lowest rated Super Bowls of all time. But yeah, people keep drinking their cope juice. “The Chiefs wanted it more. The Bills were unprepared. Sean McDermott needs to be fired.” Right. McDermott has transformed the culture of this entire franchise. They made it to the AFCC and got screwed. Josh Allen and McDermott are heroes in my household.

Yes, Buffalo squandered some opportunities, but so did KC!! A TON of screwups on each side. When a game is THAT close down to the wire, officiating can be (and WAS) the thing that tipped the scale for the final result. Game was lost by 3 points. Buffalo had the ball at the Chiefs 40. We were 3 yards or so from Bass’ range who has been money all postseason. That took away 3-7 points away from Buffalo and KC ended up scoring a TD on that turnover on downs, potentially being a FOURTEEN point swing in their favor! Are people blind ? If you’re going to point to Buffalo’s error then point out KC’s as well. They let Buffalo hang around the entire time despite dominating the entire first half.

If Allen asks for a new staff he should get it.
ChronicAndKnuckles replied to Ramza86's topic in The Stadium Wall
I mean if that’s what HE wants then he should get it. I just don’t think that’s part of Allen’s personality. He’s going to put the blame on himself before anybody else. 31 other teams haven’t been able to stop the Chiefs/Referee juggernaut. Is it really worth it to tear the whole thing down? I think the thing Buffalo is truly lacking is a TJ Watt/Bosa/Myles Garrett type disrupter. They need elite game changers on defense. Von Miller was a ridiculous signing. He’s just too old. Buffalo needs to package their 1st and two 2nd rounders to trade up and get that guy. Rousseau is a great 1b pass rusher like Robert Mathis, but we need a game wrecker like Dwight Freeney to pair him up with.
