Daboll absolutely deserves another year. Meddling owners are the Fing worst. You could tell Daboll liked Daniel’s a lot during their meeting. Putting the season on Daniel Jones was stupid as hell.
-
Coach of the year is usually reserved for guys who coach a team to the playoffs that isn’t expected to get there. Everyone knew the Bills were gonna win 10 games minimum.
-
Imagine if that baby grew up to defeat Mahomes in the SB for his final season.
-
Getting to the playoffs was huge for Giants fans. I think they kind of knew they weren’t going to go far, but needed belief in the new regime. Just like when Buffalo broke the drought although not as monumental
-
Burrow? Really? Wtf ?
-
Darnold better win come back POY. He came out of nowhere and had a brilliant season
-
Then Allen better win because he absolutely embarrassed him.
-
What’s happening ? Update would be much appreciated

I’ve always said IDC about the MVP, but I do. Would be some type of compensation for that brutal end to the season.

Anyone else for using our draft capital for trades?
ChronicAndKnuckles replied to SoonerBillsFan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Absolutely! Worked for Diggs. Say what you will, but he aided in the QBs development and put up elite production. It was a franchise changing move that unfortunately fizzled out in the end, but I would certainly do it all over again. I’m all for packaging a couple high picks for an elite offensive or defensive player. Beane seems to be much more efficient picking from the latter half of the draft, although he nailed the James Cook and Rousseau picks. Josh is not immortal. If they don’t get any game changing Vets then Beane has to absolutely nail this draft. It depends a lot on how confident he is on Kincaid and Coleman’s development. A lot of time needs to be spent looking at film seeing where things went wrong. Especially Kincaid who is going into year 3. Anything less than a Greg Olsen will be very disappointing. An elite TE is the greatest weapon a QB can have. It’s no secret that most HOF QBs had one! Elway/Sharpe Mahomes/Kelce Romo/ Witten Manning/Clark Brees/Graham Brady/Gronk Rivers/Gates -
The type of wide receiver Josh needs
ChronicAndKnuckles replied to Buffalo716's topic in The Stadium Wall
He needs one that is sensitive & caring. A strong man who is not afraid to show his emotions. -
Unfortunately, I didn’t see it live, but it looked like a sure fire TD for the Pats ! It’s like Micah went into warp speed and closed in immediately. Truly remarkable. His TD return on the onside kick against Miami was pretty cool too. I’ve never seen one of those happen before.

Drake Maye actually looked very accurate, decisive, and athletic during the first Bills matchup. Seemed like he got the ball out very fast and took off running at the perfect time. Maybe the fans will, but the Bill’s coaching staff certainly won’t underestimate him. I think he’s 10 times the prospect that Mac Jones was and certainly has the capability to supplant Tua as the 2nd best AFCE starting QB. His rookie season reminded of a lot of Allen’s. Just didn’t flash the occasional other-worldly talented run or thrown that only JA, Mahomes, or LJ could. Still it doesn’t take away from the fact that he is very physically gifted player. His stats weren’t amazing, but still threw more TDs than picks, had a 66.6 completion %, and another 421 on the ground. I think he can become a decent game manager through the air along w/ the legs to break off big time runs. His ceiling is a prime Russell Wilson, but I think he will turn out to be more of a Baker Mayfield type w/ better rushing ability. Drake Maye is a dude who can get you to the dance as long as you give him some good weapons to work with. If the Pats were smart, they would build a good rushing team around him, and lean more on his dual threat ability while he continues to develop as a passer.

Sports fixing has gone on since the Chicago White Sox won the World Series. Point shaving was a massive problem for college sports. Fighters have proven to take dives. The NBA had a massive scandal in the 2000s. Oh and the fact Goodell BURNED video tape evidence because it was SO damning that it would’ve demolished the league’s integrity. Why is it so hard to grasp something being at least possible? Unlike the Earth being flat, these things have actually existed across all sports mediums.

Look no further than Tim Donaghy and the NBA if people think it’s not POSSIBLE (I never said it was fact) that there is corruption in some form going on behind the scenes and that one ref can’t change an entire game. Dude was able to manipulate an entire 7 game series sending the Lakers to the Finals. I think people just don’t want to believe because it will spoil something they’ve dedicated so much time & money on. I’m not asking people to pick a side, just do your due diligence and look at the facts and statistics. Kind of telling when a team wins 16 straight one score games and 3 SBs without a holding call when there’s holding on nearly every play. Seems we can always win the meaningless games against the Chiefs that ended up having zero effect on the seeding, but continually lose the ones that matter. Every single time.

That interception against Mac Jones was my favorite Micah Hyde play. Truly set the tone for the game and it was all over from there. Crazy. I just commented this same thing. Remarkable display of athleticism

Prepare For The Bills To Go International Regularly
ChronicAndKnuckles replied to corta765's topic in The Stadium Wall
He’s a cancer to the NFL. Ever since he became commissioner. From the ridiculous rule changes, the penalties, blatant favoritism to certain franchises ie spygate & refgate, and the total pussification of the league as a whole. Oh yeah, and how can I forgot aligning w/ the gambling companies? He took a game that I loved as a toddler rocking my Bills pajamas in my very first pictures and destroyed it. I lived & died with the Bills every single Sunday. I cherished the losses just as much as the wins because it brought the fans together. The total magic of the Doug Flutie run. The aura & swagger of the early 90s squad. These men helped me make it through a very difficult childhood along w/ my dog Buddy. I don’t mean to get sentimental, but It was once truly magical to be a fan. It wasn’t just a game to me growing up in Rochester. People took it very seriously. There’s no more mystique anymore. Thank God for Josh Allen who lays it all out on the line, but part of me thinks the NFL doesn’t want him to win. -
Oh, you can guarantee some BS flags if the Chiefs find themselves in a hole early on. Then again, that won’t happen since they have free range to hold on every play if they want . Based on their 0 holding calls in the past 3 SBs (which is an insane stat line considering there is holding on every other play in the NFL)

No more Sunday football until September
ChronicAndKnuckles replied to philholbroo's topic in The Stadium Wall
On the plus side, I enjoy the discussions on this board a lot more than the weekly meltdowns (myself included) of the regular season. Conversations about Free Agency, the draft, training camp, rumors/trades, etc are always fun. Plus the general hope of next year. I am devastated and still very angry about the AFCC, but what can I do? The good thing is being a Bills fan prepared me to deal with being let down, not just in Bills games, but life in general. I control what I can control. -
Run it back on offense...
ChronicAndKnuckles replied to transplantbillsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall
If Kincaid can blossom into the player he was supposed to be and/or Amari Cooper drastically improves then this offense could take a huge step. I’m fine with running it back with the same players. 30 ppg is great production. If they can’t land a star defensive player then I am all for shelling it out for a WR instead, but I hope the Bills try everything they can to get Myles Garrett or Crosby. I don’t want these past their prime retreads anymore. Von Miller had his moments, but as well all know has been a colossal disappointment. Imagine who we could’ve signed with all that money instead. -
Who the hell knows? I could get hit by a bus before that time. I know older die hard Bills fans with not much time left. When are they going win a SB? Are they ever gonna win a SB? I figure we have 10 years tops with Josh Allen. It could be another 25 years before we find the next franchise QB after he retires. How long did it take to replace Jim Kelly? Why did I hear the drum intro when I saw this?
