Smart move. McDaniel has brought the Fins back to relevancy. We are basically their Kansas City Chiefs. McDaniel needs to learn how to beat the Bills, but being a yearly contender definitely a start. On a different note, F the Dolphins

The Athletic Survey: Josh Allen or Lamar Jackson?
ChronicAndKnuckles replied to Sierra Foothills's topic in The Stadium Wall
It’s a joke that this is even a question to some people 🤣 -
Crazy how people think he’s overrated. He’s underrated if anything. He’s a 6’5 Favre than can hurdle, truck, and stiff arm linebackers. I’d say a SB is more important to Allen’s legacy than any one else. He’s a HOFer already in my book, but casual fans seem to take a stupid narrative like ‘turnover machine” and live & die w/ it. Most overrated by far is Lamar Jackson. At least Josh has the balls to make a game winning throw even if it ends up getting intercepted. Lamar folds like origami in the post-season and always has a great defense/running game to lean on. If he doesn’t have an open running lane he is finished whereas Allen can beat you in multiple ways. The least deserving MVP of all time. I can think of about 6 players players off the top of my head who deserved it more.

UDFA and local boy Joe Andreesson makes Bills roster

And couldn’t come at a better time either w/ the Milano injury. He’ll gain some valuable experience -

Didn’t we have a udfa WR that was from Buffalo during the Fitz years ? I can’t remember his name. He contributed a few seasons. My mind is drawing a blank -
I’d finish him off in 13 seconds

Bass struggling at minicamp (and now at training camp)
ChronicAndKnuckles replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
Am I missing something? He’s been pretty successful this preseason. He missed one kick. -
I had no idea dude was even from Buffalo until after he had that monster game. That’s how I know I’m not blinded by hometown hype. Dude can be from North Korea for all I care. He can ball

Andreessen will make the team - UPDATE: he made it

I don’t want to get ahead of myself, but this guy has major potential and could be Matt Milano’s eventual replacement. If not, he can be really good trade bait if he has a great season and Milano returns back to form. I think Buffalo should hold onto him though Edit: I also wanted to add that Andreessen passes the eye test. When he plays he jumps off the screen even in a meaningless preseason game. The instincts are there which is the most important trait of a linebacker or else you just have a freak like Tremaine Edmunds who makes plays solely on his athletic ability. I haven’t been this excited about a player since Fred Jackson. -
I just don’t understand why the regular season success never translates to the post-season. Why not go in w/ the same game plan you had before? Something needs to change and I hope this is the year because I am getting sick and tired of the same outcome. Kansas City w/ the close dramatic win in the playoffs. I want the Bills to go into Arrowhead and slaughter them like they did to the Pats.

Absolutely. Morse was a very very good pass blocker, but the lacked the physicality & nastiness to be a truly dominant run blocker. I think McGovern will fare very well and I think Buffalo believes so also. This is why they drafted Davis. I believe we are going to see a run game that can close that can close out games in the 4th quarter.

Do Athletes endorsements affect your purchasing?

Would be a way better commercial if they showed that instead. -
The favoritism is real. People just don’t want to believe it. You have to wonder why we are 3-1 all time in the regular season, but 0-3 when it matters.

Josh “baby face” Allen doing Gillette commercials was about the dumbest thing I’ve ever seen. -

Mine is on the way out as well. Time can be so cruel -
Shakir was hands down our best receiver in the playoffs. 2 TDs and 10 catches on 12 targets. I think he takes a massive step forward. Somebody is going to have to put up production w/ the loss of Diggs/ Davis. What I like about him is he holds onto the ball and showed he can make circus catches. The only thing he lacks is the downfield speed

Cee Dee Lamb rejects Cowboys latest offer
ChronicAndKnuckles replied to Gregg's topic in The Stadium Wall
I mean Buffalo does have the best 3rd down % and a routinely top offense every single year so is it really necessary? I think the issue is more about the defensive picks not panning out than the lack of offensive fire power. Buffalo put up a good scoring effort against the Chiefs. Issue was by far the defense and special teams, the same as it was the last time we faced the Chiefs in the post-season. Allen and company are going to get there’s. The only time they really stalled out was against the Bengals and then the AFCC game against KC once again. I guess you could say the Ravens, but I think they went on cruise control once Lamar went out of the game. I think it’s a huge misconception on this forum and the media that Buffalo doesn’t have enough weapons to compete. The problem has always been the defense and it will continue to be until they learn to stop people when it matters. -
Tua Throwing Bombs With His Mouth!
ChronicAndKnuckles replied to WotAGuy's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don’t get why someone would bad mouth their franchise QB right to their face like that. I was confused on why they fired him at the time, but now I totally get it. Tua sucks, but he seems like an all around good person in real life. I don’t see him making up something like this. -
Not to mention Torrence going into his 2nd year. I think he will be a dominant guard when he puts it all together. I think the O-line could have slightly worse pass protection, but the run blocking will be much better. There’s a reason they went after Ray Davis. Give Josh a solid running game and it takes so much pressure off of him to make insane plays to get the 1st down. I don’t get the pessimistic attitudes either. People think we are fielding the same exact team as last year minus Diggs, Morse, & Davis, but fail to understand that the young players we have get better with experience. Some might even break to become elite. Look at Terrell Bernard who 75% of the board (including myself) thought was going to be a massive downgrade from Tremaine Edmunds. He actually turned to he even better.
-
Idk about everyone else, but I am extremely excited. This is exactly the type of year where the Bills will come out and surprise everyone. Screw all of he pressure they’ve faced previous seasons. This is the way I like it. We have a better O-line, better RBs, a 2nd year Dalton Kincaid and a mid-tier starter in Knox, Rasul Douglas is a major upgrade to start the season compared to last, and the D-line should be equally good but has the potential to be even better. Oh and I almost forgot Josh MFing Allen which makes us contenders all by himself. I am worried about the injury of Milano, but the Bills seem to have good LB depth. If they can coast to a playoff spot, a fresh Milano heading into the post-season could be a blessing in disguise. WR as well, but if Brady is smart, he will use a stout physical O-line, a better group of RBs, and 2 starting caliber TEs to his advantage. Coleman is a rookie, but rookies receivers sometimes have huge impacts. Safety is a major concern, but if anyone can make it work it’s McDermott who’s DB coaching is arguably the best in the league.
