It’s not the WRs fault they got thrust into their positions. Guys like Mack Hollins are excellent options as a 4th or 5th option, but really has no business being in a starting role.

It makes a ton of sense. McDermott’s defenses are too soft. They need a philosophy change and there’s certainly talent currently on the roster that are good enough to make that transition. You’re telling me Milano, Oliver, Rousseau, Bernard or TJ aren’t good enough for a different scheme? Talent is talent. Being a terrible coach vs a terrible coordinator are 2 different things. Ask Josh McDaniels or Rex Ryan

Boy, would this dude turn this defense around immediately. And he would get a chance to stick it to the Jets. Babich has been unimpressive so far to say the least.

There’s not one fan I know that doesn’t think McD didn’t majorly F up the 13 second game. A lot of us know he’s flawed, but are scared to go back to the drought years. Look at the Jets. Imagine going through that year after year switching coaches. People know w/ McD that this team will always remain competitive and a post-season mainstay. I mean he’s tied w/ Bill Bellichick for the highest win % through 55 games for crying out loud. That isn’t by luck. I guess you could argue that it’s all Josh, but he did break a 17 year drought without him. I am torn. I know he has to improve. He does have the chance. Bills are still sitting 3-2 w/ the Jets coming up. Maybe the team isn’t talented enough? Well, that wouldn’t be his fault then.

I’m not throwing the season away. We play in the weakest division in football. Playoffs are almost a guarantee and anything can happen once you’re in. The front office and coaching staff just need to start showing some desperation because their jobs are definitely on the line. If Buffalo comes up short again, I think McDermott has one more season left. There are no time for “rebuilds” when u have a franchise QB. McDermott & Brady better be banging down the door of Beane’s office to get a WR. The season can still be salvaged. The Giants started out 0-4 then ended up winning a championship. Coughlin was on the hot seat up until that point and Eli was approaching bust status, but the fans and media lit a fire underneath them. Will this happen w/ the Bills ? Who knows, but I liked the grit they showed at the end up last season rattling off all those wins and barely losing by a FG to the eventual champs.

I hope Buffalo does everything they can to secure a WR. I don’t care if it’s for a high round pick. We have an extra 2nd to work with. Adams is totally worth it. As much as people hate Diggs, he transformed this offense when he got here and I think Adams is much more suited to Allen’s style. McDermott is slowly approaching the hot seat and desperate times call for desperate measures. And the cherry on top is this takes the pressure off Keon Coleman so he can develop without the stress of having to be the WR1 right out of the gate. It all makes too much sense to actually happen.

Because we see teams like the Chiefs and Brady-led Patriots w/ subpar WRs win games and feel like Allen should be able to do the same. I’m not throwing in the towel yet. IMO, the coaching is the bigger than any roster issues

I meant the overall balance of the offense. Of course I’ll take a 300+ 4 TD game from Allen with a weak run game, but in the NFL, your team tends to win more than lose when your RB goes over 100 yards rushing. It’s been the recipe for success for the past 60 years.

I disagree. You run it 3 times and make them use all their time outs. Allen was off the entire game so expecting him to get the 1st when the whole defense knows it’s a pass play is asking a lot. If anything, try to pick it up on a scramble and burn some clock in the process. You hope your punter can net a 50 yard punt and let your defense make a stop who were playing great up until that point.

Sorry, but Allen is not playing like a top 2 QB this year. He has been entirely too inconsistent. Like Harbaugh said…keep him in the pocket and he’s toast. I love what Brady has done w/ the run game, it just seems like we can only have one or the other. A good pass game w/ crap RBs or vice-versa. The balance they showed against Arizona was a thing of beauty. Now I’m starting to think it was a week 1 fluke.

That is 90% on Josh. An NFL QB should be able to hit that throw blind folded. Not sure what’s up w/ Allen’s deep ball, but he’s starting to show some rookie tendencies in his 7th year.

Exactly. Absolutely baffling decision making by McDermott. Directly cost this team a chance in OT. I don’t get it. I will give the coaching staff credit for keeping the game close when Allen had a whopping 9 completions for the entire game, but seems like he can’t close out a game to save his life. Luckily the AFCE is in shambles and Buffalo will win by default, but I doubt they go far in the post-season unless McDermott does some serious soul searching and Beane swings for a WR before the trade dead line. I would look to ship off a high round pick or even a dude like Epenesa. This passing game is a joke and I will admit that Josh Allen definitely deserves his fair share of blame as well.

Must be nice to have a kicker than can drill 55 yarders perfectly straight down the middle. That makes it a 2 score difference in the 4th quarter. IDK why people don’t think Kickers aren’t important. I think a dude like Butker or prime Justin Tucker is easily worth a 2nd rounder

Came here and elevated into a super star, posted career numbers, and even lead the league in receiving yards one year. Something is wrong w/ this guy mentally. Most WRs would kill to be in a situation like this. Honestly, I think it has to do w/ jealousy of Josh Allen. Diggs can’t stand being 2nd fiddle to his QB

Just like when Buffalo molly wopped Kansas City in the regular season during their SB year. Best not to over-inflate wins or losses.

It’s very rare to see Buffalo get beat like that. Most of their losses have been by the single digits in the McDermott era. This was eye opening. It had a Cincinnati Bengals feel to it where we couldn’t stop a nosebleed on defense and the offense sputtered w/ the little opportunities they had. I hope Beane at least does his due diligence in checking out some WRs that might be available at a reasonable cost. I’m not sold on Mack Hollins as anything above a 4th or 5th option.

I guarantee he’ll beat Coleman to the bank
