I recall some fans being upset during the Allen pick, but very briefly. Within a day or so everyone was sold based on his ridiculous Wyoming highlights. I was a Baker Mayfield guy. Allen definitely was my 2nd choice. I became very intrigued when he started shooting up draft boards even rumored to go #1 to the Browns. You just can’t deny that talent and it was well worth the gamble. Beane made the best draft pick in Franchise history , not just because it turned out to be Allen, but the wheeling & dealing to get him. Rarely do you get a break trading away the pick who became Pat Mahomes.

Great artists break generational barriers.

How do these retreads keep getting interest? He’s a proven loser even when he had a HOF QB. I’d rather take my chance on a young and innovative coordinator. If this is the best that’s out there then Joe Brady is all but gone next season.

IMO, Cooper is a number 1. Not everybody can have a Chase or Jefferson, but Coop is definitely more than serviceable. Him and Josh need more time to gel along w/ the “everyone eats philosophy” hindering his production too. He’s opened up space for other receivers and has made some grown man catches. He absolutely needs to be heavily involved against the Ravens. Don’t force the ball, but implement some stuff that plays to his strengths.

What’s the logic behind it? I’d rather have an extra 30 seconds of clock than a time out. Plus some time to regroup and strategize would be nice. You limit yourself when u have 20 seconds and 2 time outs in the red zone opposed to a 50-60 seconds and 1 time out. Idk

The one pet peeve of mine is when Buffalo is running a 2 minute drill on offense before the half w/ 3 time outs in their pocket and McDermott only starts using them with 50 seconds left. I hate it with a passion.

Even with a loss you know he’s not being replaced. Unless Josh says something which he won’t. Regardless, I have confidence in a win.

The Bills look much more loose and relaxed. It sounds corny, but they are having fun out there which makes a difference. Being at Orchard Park is the cherry on top

Reminds me a lot of David Nelson, but a better version. Great blocker and solid hands/above average RZ target. I won’t lie, I didn’t expect him to do much. Another solid trait is he’s a great teammate and beings everyone closer together. Makes the locker room environment more enjoyable and more reason other guys might want to stick around. Compare Allen’s demeanor to how he was during the Diggs years. He seems a lot less stressed.

Definitely the best offseason addition. U can tell his team mates love him.
