Shady is looking for a three peat
ChronicAndKnuckles replied to Might Rather's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Darn and I thought I was a Seinfeld expert. I do live close to Toms Restaurant though (it’s not the same one from the show.) -
I mean what coach HAS been consistently (key word) successful without a legitimate QB? BB has to at least get some credit for giving Brady good defenses year in and year out. I hate the guy as much as anybody here, but the guy is one of the winningest coaches of all time. Look at Dungy and Payton. All world QBs and only one title to show for it. Despite what the media wants you to think, football is a TEAM game. Yes, some positions are more important than others, but the whole organization has to be on the same page. Would Josh Allen of even made it on the Jets?

Shady is looking for a three peat

No offense to McCoy, but he didn’t really have that much to do w/ the previous 2. Kind of like Rob Johnson and the Buccaneers. It’s the “Bro.” -
What’s wrong w/ Cam and why do his passes look like he’s throwing a pineapple?

I know he had a couple, but I want to see more turnovers. TFL’s are great, but I don’t want a guy that just racks up 150+ every year. I want to see sacks, FF’s, and picks from a guy who is the ultimate physical specimen. Edmunds is playing like a borderline top 10 MLB, but I know he has Urlacher/Keuchly potential.

don't sleep on...Reggie Gilliam?
ChronicAndKnuckles replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Maybe he can become like a Demarco type (sp?) or maybe even Chris Cooley. I always root for the fullbacks because they’re a dying breed. Who remembers Sam Gash and Larry Centers? Great fullbacks for the Bills. -
Diggs kind of reminds me so much of Reggie Wayne, my favorite non-Bills player growing up. Just an absolute supreme route runner and the great thing is that particular skill is the slowest to erode w/ age. I can see Diggs being great until his mid-30’s. And like Allen, he plays so much faster than any of his combine stats and 40 yard dash. What an absolute steal of a trade. Knowing what I know, I would give 2 firsts for him if I had to.

Are the Bills are a "regional" team?
ChronicAndKnuckles replied to Zerovoltz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Absolutely. I am originally from Rochester and I would say we have just as many Bills fans per capita as Buffalo. Of course you have your generic “trying to be cool and go against the grain” Dolphins and Giants fans, but Rochester and all surrounding areas are generally pro Bills. There is also a huge following in NYC. -
If you asked me last year, I would’ve thought Hopkins would’ve been the better fit for Allen as a weapon. Although not that big, he plays like 6’5 receiver with a huge catch radius and I was not quite sure about Allen’s accuracy issues so a guy like that seemed a perfect fit. In the end we won. I still can’t believe the Texans gaffed that one up.

Howard would be a great pick up for any team in the league, the guy is in the prime and is well worth a mid-late first rounder. Shutdown corner remains a top priority in the ever growing passing league it has become. Why Miami would shop him is weird though when their defense is what carried them to double digit wins. I’m certainly in favor of getting the guy OUT of the AFC East.

I love when writers/analysts admit when they’re wrong unlike the idiot Skip Baylesses of the world (the time when he got verbally massacred by Mark Cuban still remains one of the best ESPN moments of all time. I loathe that guy.) Anyway, us Bills fans knew we had a Superstar in the making by the 2nd half of Josh Allen’s rookie year. I’ll admit I didn’t think Diggs would hit the scene the way he did especially w/ no off-season.

Knox has the Jadaveon (sp?) Clowney syndrome. One absolutely ridiculous beast mode play and has never lived up to to it since. If you can’t produce in this offense then there is something wrong. Then again, he could make that 3rd year leap so I’m not completely unsold on him. To me, #1 Tight End is the battle to watch. So many different scenarios can play out especially if Ertz is signed. We shall see… 👀

Most intriguing Training Camp competition?
ChronicAndKnuckles replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I’m pretty honed in on the TE battle. I can honestly say I have no clue who will be starting. I want Ertz, but I’m fine if we go with what we have. I will say I do not believe in Knox. -
The Wonderlic? Really? Lol I bet you’re the type who measures peoples intelligence by their IQ score. As far as physical measurables go, Josh Allen is a superior athlete and certified dual threat w/ 25 rushing TDs to his name. Let’s see Herbert do that first before you annoint him a better athlete. Herbert had a great rookie season, but let’s see how he does w/ his game tape out.

I'm riding the Moss train as well. Skill-wise to me, there's nothing overwhelming to me about Singletary and as someone mentioned on here he's a small back and when you don't have speed to go w/ that it's a killer. The only way for it to work is to have elite vision and patience (he does have those traits though don't get me wrong, just not elite yet.) Then I had read on another thread here that Moss & Singletary were like 2nd and 9th place out of all of RB's hit behind the line of scrimmage. So for all we know we could have the next Thurman Thomas with no way to showcase their talent due to getting blown up in the backfield. It's such a huge combination of things that need to happen for a running back. There is a RARE ELITE that can literally do it BY THEMSELVES. 💯
