E Sanders Analysis vs Zone & man Coverage
ChronicAndKnuckles replied to Old Coot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This is exactly why he won’t be as easily replaced that people think he is. Slot receiver is an underrated position and I feel we haven’t had a good one since Josh Reed. -
Peachy

Bills interested in CB Steven Nelson
ChronicAndKnuckles replied to BillsMafi$'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I really need to start getting into other teams or something because I’ve never heard of this guy. If the board says he’s good then sign him! -
Eric Moulds giving back to Buffalo
ChronicAndKnuckles replied to Buffalo716's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Sorry, but Eric Moulds could’ve been great and the Bills kind of screwed him by not giving him a proper quarterback. Kelly Holcomb, JP Losman, Doug Flutie, (I love Flutie, but he was not a great passer) etc. With a proper QB or even an average one he could’ve been a HOFer. -
Buffalo’s top rated 3rd down efficiency was the biggest factor for them going 13-3. I love the aggressiveness of Josh Allen because even on 3rd and 20 I feel confident that he can pick up the first down. I don’t see this changing much going into next season. We are locked in at all key positions. The Bills are on the rise. Super Bowl or bust.

Bills fans know all too much about how much a nicely thrown ball getting dropped can affect the game. I feel we need better catching from RB too (no, I’m not referencing the Singletary drop orrrr maybe I am?) Those positions are called “safety valves” for a reason. I feel Allen and pretty much all quarterbacks benefit so much from a great tight end and/or multi-purpose runningbacks. Who wouldn’t like an Alvin Kamara or Antonio Gates on this team. Unfortunately, a great TE is harder to find than a great WR. Who was the Bills last good TE?

THE ROCKPILE REVIEW - Taking a Look at 2021
ChronicAndKnuckles replied to Shaw66's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Awesome write up. I’ve been reading the Rockpile review for over 10 years. When I see, I click. FYI, I think Hollister could prove to be a decent answer to TE this year. I just have a gut feeling without anything to really back it up. -
I’ve never been a fan of the “dancers” like Willis McGahee or LeSean McCoy (they are both talented backs, just not what I would personally build a team with) and you’re right on that Singletary is cut from that cloth. I’m more of a Travis Henry/Marshawn Lynch kind of dude. Sometimes it pays off for a RB to wait a second longer to wait for the hole to open up more, but other times it results in more negative plays. I’ll take the guaranteed 3 yards and a cloud of dust.

Slot Recievers - McKenzie / Cole
ChronicAndKnuckles replied to CorkScrewHill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Cole was pretty much a 1k receiver for us last year and a premier slot receiver in the mold of Wes Welker. People who think he will be so easily replaced better reconsider. Buffalo needs to do everything to keep this core in tact 💯 -
Yeah, Tomlin on the hot seat is a pipe dream. Another stupid one is Kyle Shanahan. Just took his team to a Superbowl. That would be like firing McDermott if we somehow stumbled to an 8-8 season. It will take SEVERAL losing seasons to get rid of either. I like a lot of the old classics bc of watching Nick at Nite as a kid. People are like “how do u know about the Andy Griffith show???” Bro, I’ve been watching that show since I was 4.

Shady is looking for a three peat
ChronicAndKnuckles replied to Might Rather's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Darn and I thought I was a Seinfeld expert. I do live close to Toms Restaurant though (it’s not the same one from the show.) -
I mean what coach HAS been consistently (key word) successful without a legitimate QB? BB has to at least get some credit for giving Brady good defenses year in and year out. I hate the guy as much as anybody here, but the guy is one of the winningest coaches of all time. Look at Dungy and Payton. All world QBs and only one title to show for it. Despite what the media wants you to think, football is a TEAM game. Yes, some positions are more important than others, but the whole organization has to be on the same page. Would Josh Allen of even made it on the Jets?

No offense to McCoy, but he didn’t really have that much to do w/ the previous 2. Kind of like Rob Johnson and the Buccaneers. It’s the “Bro.”
