  1. Exactly. They gave up on Wentz way too early. Not to mention the coach that got them a ring. It just baffles me to no end. If McD won us a Super Bowl I wouldn’t fire him even if he followed it up w/ 4 losing seasons. It just angers me, their stupidity as an organization.
  2. Truly horrible. Idk why anybody thinks he’s going to amount to anything more than a decent backup.
  3. McDermott is like 4 years removed from Carolina and don’t they have a whole new coach & FO? How tf does he keep nabbing players from over there? Kind of getting tired of Panther retreads.
  4. Jimmy G was in the 2nd and Cousins was I THINK a 4th, but I don’t feel like googling. Joe Burrow had an elite offense at LSU w/ receivers open wider than the Grand Canyon and yet nobody gives him the same **** as Mac Jones. Physically, JB was a better physical NFL prospect obviously. MJ was 5 star recruit going into Bama and lived up to that status completely. Yes, he had a great offense, but you still have to get the ball to your playmakers which is the QBs job. His accuracy & ability to anticipate and “throw open” his receivers was top notch. Definitely better than Tua, but a couple notches below Burrow. I just don’t see what you saw when he played for Bama that’s makes him such a bad prospect? Past Alabama QB busts? Wide open WRs? Weaker build? The guy was a Heisman finalist, man.
  5. I can’t stand his personality, but he was no Trent Dilfer. I think he was a good compliment to that defense.
  6. I feel like DE has more bust potential than O-line excluding LT. You can plug and play a G, C, or T and get average play for the most part unless your scraping the absolute bottom of the barrel for guys. Especially w/ someone like Allen or even Mahomes who both have great pocket maneuverability and scrambling. With a guy like Stafford, I would trust a rookie lineman a little less. Defensive end/3-4 OLB is a different animal. I feel like guys bust a lot more frequently at that position. Putting all yours eggs in a rookie pass rusher basket seems risky even when they double down in the 2nd round. As you say, we shall see… P.S. I can guarantee w/ almost 100% certainty that Houston has a price.
  7. I feel like the pick was a pretty good value at that spot. People think I’m some kind of Mac Jones lover, but I don’t think he is going to be this huge “bust” like people think. Everyone’s opinion of what a bust is varies. I think he will be a slightly above average QB (think Jimmy G at worst, Kirk Cousins at best) to bridge the gap until someone better comes along. High floor/low ceiling. People need to stop comparing yesteryears stats w/ today. It might as well of been a totally different game in the 70s.
  8. Catholic school was a special kind of hell for me.
  9. As a former alcoholic myself, it means so much to me that he speaks out about his issues while breaking the stigma. Makes me feel like less of a nut when a successful, good looking dude like Poyer literally goes through the same thing I do. It just proves how alcoholism (and drug addiction) can touch anyone, anywhere.
  10. This guy needs to be erased from all human consciousness. I don’t care one iota about this bozo TBH.
  11. Dude only got 4 million to play there. Money talks. If Buffalo offered 5 then he would be here suiting up for training camp right now.
  12. Would’ve liked to have a guy like Houston as a good insurance policy in case it takes our top 2 picks a little more time to develop. I kind of feel like they’re putting a lot of faith in rookies which is a bit foolish. Correct me if I’m wrong.
  13. I’ll watch it tonight! Thanks 🙏
  14. The guy’s a warrior for sure and very inspirational. Funny because I heard so many stories about him being a jerk during his playing days. Doesn’t seem like that stuff was true. Get well, Jim. 👍
  15. I think they will be a top 10 defense next season, but last year they were middle of the road if I recall. You may be right. They need to shore up the run defense to truly become elite.
  16. Wow. I’m very impressed w/ this documentary. The guy should be working for espn doing 30 for 30s. Look at the Colts when Manning got injured (Yes, I know Buffalos roster was a bit better.) I think Josh adds more than half the wins all on his own. Especially w/ no running game, who else could carry them?
  17. Me neither, but I can see him as a mid range starter. Guy has some wheels too. 10 rushing TDs at BYU. I try not to let my hatred of the Jets cloud my judgement. Both of my favorite QBs of the draft went to AFC East rivals. Let’s hope my predictions continue to suck.
  18. Who can blame anybody for trying to get the maximum amount of money as possible? Football (still) is a dangerous sport. One hit can change your life. Why is that?
  19. Yet another reason he shouldn’t be #1 when he isn’t a healthy scratch for a full season and Diggs is.
  20. That’s not true. Diggs led the NFL w/ 147 receptions. And being the receiving yards leader naturally he also leads in yards per game.
  21. Those Bledsoe/Losman/Edwards/Holcomb era uniforms are something I try everyday to forget. I wish I could erase them from history. Steelers throwbacks look like some Freddy Krueger **** and don’t forget those lime green Seahawks monstrosities.
  22. Better than people think, but no winning record.
  23. The #1 receiver that’s #1 in catches & yards is #4. Checks out. 🧐
